the board obviously could afford to keep Dave the Rave, so wtf was Yogi on about. Never deserved to be out of the team in my opinion. News has made my day. If it was a choice last week between Yogi or Dave, the board though the same. Also with a few players resigning like this, the club must be projecting their thoughts on who will replace Yogi to or with the players

At the same time he has walked away from a very secure job to be on the dole. Did I see him on the pitch at Hampden! He obviously feels that his record of winning our first cup, and taking us to Europe also on a 3rd place finish will get him a bigger job in the central belt. Cant think where, and if he does get a managers job down there, it will probably be for a team on the down rather than like us a team that was very much on the way up. However, who is to say if Tel and Mo had stayed, would we have achieved 3rd, Europe and the Scottish Cup. Thank you Yogi, I now have memories that I didn't think I would have.

Bang on, an investigation into all 3 parties contribution on Saturday. I wasn't aware of this but seemingly Rangers were banned from Europe for a pitch invasion in the early 70's. Was that from the Nou Camp? Maybe the SFA have moved on, but don't bet on it A few more pictures of the Rangers players getting assaulted coming out now. One seems to have been verbally assaulted by fans running past him, like that doesn't happen at every away game. Unless of course he was spat on, which would be disgusting. Fact is, if that was us beaten in injury time, and our players were caught up in the "exuberance" with physical aggression displayed to the players, we would be crying out for all types of recriminations. Again like Hibs players not causing the problem, the opposition players didn't either. Wonder what will happen after all Saturdays events. Rangers fans letting off flares, clearly more than a few individuals were heard singing inappropriate songs, Rangers keep saying its the minority but Saturday proved its the minority that don't, and what were there fans going onto the pitch for? Any Rangers fans going onto the pitch should be banned. Hibs, I thought that some of there fans were singing some songs more often heard at old firm games, but not nearly as audible as those from the other end. Yes they were rather excited by a brilliant comeback and a sorely long waited cup win, but goalposts, cameras, players assaulted, officials assaulted, running attacks on the opposite ends fans, assaults on fans and their terrible gardening on the new SFA pitch. No all fans that came onto the pitch were causing trouble, but a large large number were. Now we have all seen the pictures, Reckon Police Scotland are going to be busy around Edinburgh and Glasgow. SFA!!!!! Well this was there show piece. They clearly didn't have enough security . Think the end of season Motherwell St Johnstone game had more security for 6000 than SFA had for 52,000. Thing is the SFA / SPFL threatened Motherwell with massive repercussions if there were and pitch invasions at their last home game. Should the SFA now hit themselves with a massive fine after there match got out of control. I can see Rangers getting their fingers burned and a 5 figure fine as the SFA wont upset them too much. As for Hibs, Goalposts, pitch, pitch invasion and embarrassing the SFA infront of the world. The fine might be big enough to dent Hibs chances of promotion again next season.

Another fact, Manchester United spent more money in the last two years, than Leicester spent in their entire history. Seem to remember Leicester used to do a few pre season tours up here in the Highlands. Nothing to do with ICT, but was at a dinner with Gary Lineker a few years back, and when he found out there were a few Scots present, he talked about Jock Wallace when he was manager, at half time during one game he had Mr Lineker by the throat up against the dressing room wall, screaming and balling at him and spraying his face with shouted spittal ( his words ) Anyway, he said, he felt a bit peed off, as they were two nil up, and he had scored both goals. I would trust Richie Foran, and I would trust him to pick the right assistant. I also think we would be more direct in the final third. Dont suggest he would be the cheap option, as club captain, I would think Richie is currently well rewarded, potentially as good as any of our managers. Or are you meaning we dont have to buy a manager from another club, well when have we ever done that in the past?

It was Adam MacLeod, seemingly went through Brora defenders and passed it round keeper from edge of box. He's just coming back from yet another injury, bad ankle ligament one this time. Lads missed about 3 seasons with injuries since he left ICT, but when he plays he scores.

Sounds like we are turning into the Man Utd of the North. All about possession, and nice passing to each other with no penetration and no shots on target.But we play football the right way. Why dont the players realise it doesnt always work and we would rather see some up and at them sometimes, at least seeing them give it a proper go. On this form our games before the split dont look too easy! I hope we do beat Hibs, even if its penalties after extra time, cause players may start playing for their semi final place a bit more. Hope Richie Foran can drive us forward a bit more, if he doesn't get a reaction from playing. I would start him against Hibs, and see if he can give 60-70 minutes of his full on style

Purely hypothetical. As the draw for the next round of the "big" cup, assuming we get past Hibees in the replay, we would have drawn County had they beaten The Arabs. Wonder where the SFA would have us play the semi final? League cup is still the less important of the two cup finals. However, doesnt change the appeal if you win it. Think County can take Hibs in the final this weekend 3-1.

Adam MacLeod is back training and should be fit again at Strathspey. Lads promising future has been pitted with injury - only played about 10 games last season before being put out for season by Fort William defender. This season, complications with his injury kept him to 5 games, and then got crunched and did ankle ligaments by same fort William defender on comeback. Bet he will avoid that defender like the plague when they next meet! Sure he will start scoring again when he is fit, hope he gets a proper run injury free

Ryan Christie will be the same, if he gets into the Celtic team. Remember Strachan picked a lad McGregor for Scotland after he had played about 3 or 4 games for the Celtic first team, rather than a player with 100 or so SPL games with so called lesser clubs. Whats he done since!!!!!!

Bet these comments are on every dressing room wall now. Hope that the SPFL teams all try to shove those comments down his throat. We all know they are far ahead because of finances, but no need to brag the obvious. Just shows his class, or lack of! Absolutely hate Aberdeen and Hearts, but would love one of them to beat JC's team to the title, only if we can't ourselves. Thought his comments after we beat them at the Scottish Cup semi final in neutral Glasgow was classless aswell. Seems to be a very poor spokesperson for Celtic.

Regards Adam MacLeod. Was at ICT from youngest age possible, did indeed win awards throughout youth levels. Signed when 16 but got injury at end of u17s, Believe he snapped his achillies in his first 19's or 20's game. Went to Strathspey to get fit and scoring again, but after making 4 goals in two subs in first games Strathspey though they could play him as a full back as he was better on the ball than their other defenders, still scored a few from defence, no idea how many. Following season went to Elgin, scored two on his debut, but Ross Jack didn't play him again in 18months???? Barry Wilson came in and played him, and he started scoring again. Elgin offered him a new deal, but Adam then had a job where he works every second Saturday. Working every second week he seemingly had offers from Nairn, and I believe Brora, but thought he would not get a game just appearing every second week, so he went back to Strathspey to just get a game. Broke their seasons scoring record by September, but then got injured and was out for the rest of the season. Think against Huntly was his first full game since his operation. Been told he scored a free kick Ronaldo style into the postage stamp from 25 yards. If he stays clear of injury I can see him scoring 20 for Strathspey, a bottom 3 side in the Highland league. If he does, Strathspey might not be that near the bottom. If he hadn't been injured, think he would be at the same level as Polworth.
