Were they St Johnstone fans?
-
No lucky goal for st Johnstone, fully deserved win. We looked lethargic and barely interested from the start. Appalling performance, don't think we had a shot on target bar a left footed effort from David raven in the first Half. Well worth the round of applause running off at the end.

spot on by the looks of things. Purely money motivated if he does go. But let's get this clear Dundee united are not a big club and never ever will be. The frustration as always is that he won't be able to do anything more there than he is here. On the pitch we're a better club and have been for the last few years. We'll get someone else though, till they do a good enough job at wee Inverness then off to the big boys like Dundee and hibs.

In my opinion, as good as Aberdeen fans think he has been I think they've been playing him out of position. He's much more effective at left back than where they've been using him at defensive midfield. He was absolutley bossed on Saturday in the first half and looked their best player in the 2nd when he moved to left back in place if that total donkey considine.

The sending off is very similar to an incident involving grant Munro and Chris McGuire a few seasons ago. We were hard done by there and by the letter of the law Munro was off. Same thing last night. That said in the last home game there was a 100% certain red card for Christian Nade and he got away with it. So swings and roundabouts

He's away to discuss terms to celtic
-
I'll be surprised if we get much more for him than 500k. We might squeeze another 50k-100k. I agree he's worth much more than that but we are asking Celtic to wait a year before having him as we want to keep him on loan. I would say best outcome for us is maybe 600k, christie on loan and someone else (stokes, although ambitious) on loan also. Can't see why they wouldn't give us someone else on loan as Delia has already said that we play good football. I'd say that would suit Celtic youngsters more than them going to Partick or Kilmarnock etc.

8 games, no wins and 4 goals. Regardless of players lost that is abysmal.
-
I'm glad someone else noticed this, the guy is a shocking footballer. The best part is that he seems to think he's some sort of world class midfielder with the attitude of a Roy Keane. He's just a thug in a football shirt.

I have seen us play worse than that. We are badly missing a defence. Draper although doing his best is honking at centre back. Devine is obviously missing the experience of having Warren or Meekings or for that matter Shinnie alongside him. We could and should have been in front before Hamilton scored. If we keep creating chances like we did at points today, goals will come. But we need to give ourselves a chance by not conceding cheap goals llike we did today. The first was a gift, ball just given away from a loose pass in a silly area. Hamilton I thought weren't good at all. Dirtiest team I've seen in a long time, thought the same last season too. Its just that without a solid defence we're just too easy to beat at the moment. Should also add that I think some of our players look totally unfit, Tansey being one of them. That's before he went off injured
-
What I find more worrying is what has happened to us scouting players? Other than wedderburn who apparently we looked at, everyone has been brought in as trialists or who yogi thought was good 2 years ago. I thought after last seasons achievements we might just loosen the purse strings a wee bit, have a little faith and back the manager. Also maybe replace the quality we've lost with people of decent quality themselves. Sadly I'm not sure we've done that. Most clubs looks like they've maybe stretched themselves budget wise this season looking at the players that have been brought in. Perhaps due to the deal with ladbrokes giving them a little extra to play with. Sadly we don't look like one of those clubs.

Sounds like abysmal stuff. Barely created a chance in 3 games. Worrying. I have heard unfortunately that it's looking like Foran has injured his knee again.- 117 replies

Why we lost was nothing to do with the referee. We're out because we could barely create a chance over 2 games. Frustrating. I think most of us when we seen the draw were thinking that they were a pretty good team. As it turns out they were rubbish and it just feels like a missed opportunity to play a premiership team in a competitive match.- 129 replies

matchday thread Inverness CT -V- FC Astra Giurgiu

I thought the crowd was excellent, then they scored. Totally against the run of play and it took the wind out of our sails. We struggled to create a chance and when we did get into good positions we wasted it often. But in saying that, they were very well organised defensively. If we can go at them again like that next week and have another weeks training under our belts we'll have a wee chance maybe, although I expect them to also be much better next week. I didn't think their time wasting was that bad and I thought their diving would be a lot worse. Have a feeling it'll be diving and rolling about all over the place on Thursday though. I also thought the referee was very good and one or two of our officials could learn off him!- 92 replies

The only surprise is that it's not Aberdeen. We don't have a hope of signing him.
-
Latapy was out golfing at Culcabock yesterday, so would be surprised if he's left.
-
Really good of you to organise this. Have put my name down on the link and it'll be myself plus 3. Thanks again.
-
Sorry 'Jondon', we've just lost our captain for last season, who we have brought through since a youth player, to our rivals who football wise are scarcely better than us. Also for nothing when realistically he would have been worth what would be a significant amount of money to us, if we could have paid him a bit more to sign his new contract. So let us have a bit of a moan eh! So to say you come in peace and call us a '****** little club with about 2,000 fans' don't be surprised to get a bit of a negative reaction. Personally I wish Graeme all the best, just can't help thinking he isn't going to achieve any more at Aberdeen than he has here. Regardless how many times we're told what a big club Aberdeen are. They're not.
-
If we're lucky, we might get a left back and a striker. Have a feeling it'll just be 1 striker though.
-
Don't really want him to go but if he wants to go to Aberdeen then fine. He's not amazing and him and Ofere will be replaced a lot easier than Shinnie will be. On a side note, Aberdeen might as well move through and start playing in Inverness, save their players the travelling

Message from Caleyjagstogther re Final Buses
Sir C the 3rd replied to old caley girl's topic in Caley Thistle
I'm 99% certain there is a football train leaving at 855 on Saturday morning (not on the timetable) It's not been advertised but as they are expecting a lot of folk for the scheduled service, its kind of like the overspill train if you like. Normal fares. I believe it's the same for the way home although I have no estimated time for that. 7 coaches. I also believe there will be a queuing system for the trains. -
Read a rumour on twitter that we're looking at Dan Butler, a 20 year old left back released on a free by Portsmouth. It would be the type of player we would go for. Doing a wee bit of reading on the internet, it looks like he has a bit of potential about him. Was looked at by championship clubs at one time and got in the Pompey team ahead of ex England left back Nicky Shorey. Like a lot of things on twitter its probably rubbish. But you never know
-
Sorry about that super fan. Give the lad a break. He's only trying to give his opinion. Wether it's garbage or not in your opinion, no need to basically tell him off.
-
Other than the top tier of the south stand and maybe 4 or 5 sections behind our goals, Hampden will nearly be full. Lets be honest that's not bad for a Inverness v Falkirk final.
-
As much as I want us to hang on to him I certainly don't think we'll miss him anywhere near as much as Shinnie. If he wants to go he'll be replaced with someone of similar quality i'm sure. Shinnie however will be a different matter.
