    Even if he got the faintest of touches it was still a clear penalty. You wouldn't get away with a challenge like that anywhere on the park and McKays reaction said it all. Boo hoo we never got a foul and the ref was rubbish. Every week we come up with a different excuse why we didn't win. Vigurs fault, missing penalties, not getting penalties, terrible refs, martians. There are no excuses, we just haven't performed for the majority of the season. No point in raising your game for Rangers when you can't get going against the likes of Killie and Hamilton.

    SP I think you can dispense with the April fool now. I think if Scott Boyd had made a similar challenge on Billy McKay I don't think you'd find anyone on here that wouldn't say it was of the stone wall variety.

    St Johnstone have some sort of deal with a crematorium that provides a very nice stream of income to the club I believe. I'm sure someone on here can find out exactly what it is. I have a feeling It was something to do with them moving to their new stadium in 1990. I dare say a never ending source of income.

    considering where we were 2 years ago, what has happened here is pretty tragic. Since leaving Bucharest it feels like it's just a constant stream of negativity on and off the park. We absolutely deserve to be where we are now. If we want to talk about stats. We've had 4 wins in the league all season and we need at least that to stay up. It's really straw clutching time now. The league doesn't lie and up to this point we have been the worst team. No sign thats going to change. Manager has his head buried deep in the sand, even last night going on about our winning run coming soon. The way we're going he'll still be going on about it in August. It feels to me that Something isn't right at the club just now and hasn't been for some time. Something needs to change for the positive soon.

    That. Was. Dreadful. You can set up as many different formations as you like but if you only have one tactic, punt and hope for the best, then you don't have a chance. As someone said, we were hanging on towards the end and lucky to escape with a point. Foran cuts a frustrated figure and I do feel sorry for him. But I just can't see where a win is going to come from let alone the 3 or 4 minimum that we need. At best and with a lot of luck we'll get the playoffs. But at the moment, and it's no more than we have deserved this season, it looks like certain relegation.

    I, however, cannot understand why violence happens. It shouldn't happen anywhere in a civilised society. Alcohol and arguments with unknown people on an Internet forum is not sufficient I'm afraid. You bring up ultra groups. One thing Ultra groups do, if you do your research, is leave fellow supporters alone. They do not get, by all accounts into altercations, with disabled fans in a pie queue. There is no way you can condone that surely? While I still agree there is most definitely a place for you in the stadium there is also a place for the mum and dad with there 2 small kids. Get it out of your head that because you sing and make noise that your a better fan than others. While I think it's great and it's better than silenece. I prefer not to be involved in it. Doesn't make me or anyone else less a fan. Like I said, everyone should be allowed to follow the club as they please and should not be criticised or abused for doing so.

    Agree with most of what you say but then have to end with a pretty childish last paragraph. Everyone supports the club in there own way. It doesn't make them any less a supporter. Delete that paragraph and it's a green dot from me.

    Although there are signs of improvement it's still not enough to be turning these performances into wins. We need mininmum 3-4 wins to have a chance of staying up. At present we have 1 win in 18. i actually had no problem with Foran changing formation in the last few weeks. We've all been hoping for changes in the last few weeks personnel and tactics wise we got them. They still haven't worked. My problem is the work rate of some of the players. Polworth sitting there with petted lip. Maybe if he gave everything he'd be playing more often. He sulks about the place like Ronaldo after missing a couple of free kicks. Even yesterday he pussied out of a few 50/50's. We don't need that we need everyone flying in 100% committed. In fairness we gave a 100% in the second half and in my view not really the first. This also has so often been a problem this season. no excuses next time out. We have to win that game.

    Agree to a point. I think Vigurs is an easy target. For me Polworth can be as lazy at times. As much as I don't agree with booing our own players, but banning people who do? Slightly over the top.

    Not something new from Polworth. Every time he loses the ball he has a wee tantrum to himself. He needs to forget about it and work hard to get back into position. Not shake his head like a moody teenager. That said, on the ball he was ok last night. Just a game to quickly move on from. We won't have to play Celtic again this season so from here on in every game is winnable.

    The fact is, as I said elsewhere, the club made an absolute shambles of JH leaving. They were offered a compensation package for Hughes to leave and become Dundee United manager. They refused it and then agreed a new contract with JH for 2 and a half years. Regardless of engineering exits and all the rest of it, the club let him go 6 months later. Utterly ridiculous scenario. Basically glossed over by everyone as bizarrely most fans wanted him out and that we offered Raven a new contract as soon as Hughes was out the door. How much is real money has that all cost? compensation from united, down the drain. paying him to leave, more money down the drain An absolute travesty when you think of the very small margins the club operates on. i know the club balance the books and take pride in that. I can't help thinking by being a bit less naive we could have a wee bit more than just around breaking even. £500,000 for Christie when you see Coulibaly leaving Killie for near a million. Players leaving Hamilton for in the millions. God knows what will happen if we go down.

    Not just the result but another utterly woeful performance. Board need to take a long hard look at themselves for the club being in such a mess 18 months after winning the cup, 3rd in the league and in Europe. The way they handled the Yogi situation was pathetic. Dundee Utd wanted him, we turn that down and the compensation. Then we pay the guy to leave 6 months later. Yogi not faultless but he wouldn't have us in the shambles we're in now. Great player and servant, I do feel sorry for him. But Richie, you might just have to step aside.

    Once they get Tansey and perhaps meekings, we might get to see how good we could have been. Depressing stuff.

    What is annoying is that we can't want the best for a football team anymore. We're complete idiots if we can't remember the financial implications of keeping a business afloat.

    I don't buy club clothes but I can imagine how frustrating this must be if your wanting the new shirt. It's outrageous really. We're nearly 2 months into a 10 month season. I would think Cabrini or JD should be refunding 20% of the cost of anything ordered.

    Excellent post. Its not panic mode just yet but it's Two poor results and performances. We're only in three comps this season and we're out of one already..... to a part time team from two divisions below. Thats not good regardless who the manager is.
