  1. I would give anything to sing this the last day of the season. Ive been at both games they have sung the dreaded *shivver* '2-0 and you f'd it up!' chant. I love to get one back on then. BUT...i want the league done and dusted by then. Dundee have to be our bogey team - we punish them the whole game and we still get nothing! I said to my mate after the last game at Dens that we could be 10-0 up, with 89 mins to go, and they will still take something.

Everytime Rosscie takes a throw he spends 5 minutes...he genuinely waits til there is noise from the opposition fans to get a move on to take it. But this is because no one makes themselves properly available. Although every time sanchez is on i have noticed he does.

I have such a good feeling about tonight (Ayr unbeaten in 5, Dundee's away form is rank), that i stopped off at the bookies on the way home from work to put a few quid on. Wasnt worth doing when i saw the odds but i was there already. Adds a wee bit something to watching the updates unfold. Come on Ayr!!
  6. As am i, few beers, get the dvd on, enjoy the whole celebration again!
  7. Me personally, i would like to see the league done and dusted by then (us the champions obviously). I couldnt take another emotional last-day rollercoaster ride like last season. However, i would bite your hand off for it at this moment in time....the feeling of getting relegated last year would be worth t for the feeling of winning the 1st division title.
  8. Where did i say anywhere in tha post that people have an Old Firm preference? i said IF YOU DO!! how hard is it? And as highlighted, IF YOU DO have a preference stick it in the poll, dont come on here and say neither because thats not what im asking. That easy enough to understand now its broken down like that? Cheers to the people who did understand and stuck their option in the poll. Intersting viewing.
  9. Whos interested, least we will be on ESPN an Sky next season :P
  10. After reading a topic on the P&B site, i wondered what everyones preference was to the Old Firm, as everyone on the site thinks it is the blue side. Im not asking here for people to come out 'no one but caley thistle' and all this tripe, if you have a preference stick it in the poll. Describe why if you please. I was brought up on Rangers all my life, the whole family as Rangers-daft, but when ICT was formed and having been born in Inverness and lived in Tomatin before coming to Cowdenbeath, this was to be my one and only team. But when it comes to the SPL title, obviously because ICT arent up there id rather see Rangers than Celtic nab it. Please dont shoot me down for this guys, its only a question im intrigued on the answer to. My 2p.
  11. My thoughts exactly mate! Well done lads! The chase is on, and the county result? How could anything else have went our way...bar dundee playing and getting beat? But tonight was enough for me. Just hope all this effort isnt wasted come the end of the season! Make it count boys!!!
  12. I disagree, to a certain extent. I saw some great football being played on saturday, in fact i thoroughly enjoyed watching it. But we have to dig deeper when the other team does. Dundee well upped their game in that last 15 minutes, we should have matched it. But Dundee got all the breaks, we didnt. I am in agreement though. 6 points out of the next two games is crucial. If not, then if its not mathematically incorrect, im sure it would at least take a miracle.
  13. just imagine what could have been then, if we are the leagues top scorers AND we had put most of our chances away. Promoted already!
  14. Just heard this on STV. Of course alot of us will be biased because realistically it means ICT will be in the SPL again, but in all honesty the SPL has been a joke for years now. The fixtures that come up all the time, 2 teams playing each other every couple of months is unreal. 16 teams would certainly freshen it up. 2 teams up, 2 teams down. Away with the split aswell.
  15. I'm not so sure about that, from what I gather, quite a few of the players don't like him. Don't know about that but I did hear that there is no love lost between TB and our DoF. Has GB been overruled I wonder? From what you gather? so thats all just rumours then? I remember when the team were in a very bad spell, and got a win which i sure someone else will remember (think it was 4-1 over morton) , where the team dedicated the win to Butcher...this proves to me he still has the dressing room. The guys that dont like him will be the guys who dont get a game, therefore its in their own hands to shine in training and get a place in the startin 11. Basically.
  16. wouldnt miss it for anything.....even my bands gig in glasgow at night! +1 most probably.
  17. Very happy with that, well done!!! Also think that will determine whether alot of the players stay or go. Hayes, Sanchez, Bully, etc they are all Terrys finds. Hopefully they repay him for first team football with signing new deals.

Think hes proved himself now. He got a chance at being a first team regular, and he grabbed it with both hands and has kept his place since. Not nerves of steel, sqaunders to many one-on-ones with the keeper.....however, if he sorts that out then yes, he wont be far off having nerves of steel. I aswell know what its like to take a non-important penalty, never mind to grab a vital point in the last minute of a game for a team pushin for promotion!!
  19. voted regardless......and its good to see nearly 80% so far feel the same out 39 votes. if this question was asked say what, even 6 weeks ago? i think the answers would be alot different. i think the players now realise what is at stake here, it all looked doom and gloom and now they have a taste for the promotion race its all on. think yesterday was a wasted oppertunity to go 2nd, however i wasnt at the game so cant comment. but lets see whats happens in the next week at morton and dundee.

Ha Chissy's been gubbed. Go on Tel, tell it like it is. Gordon Chisholm, what a fool!!
  21. really cant afford fixtures to mount up like this, need to keep the team fresh. hope they do everything in their power to get the game on.
  22. I thought they were out the league race a long time ago. 2 weeks anyway Dundee stretch their lead, with QOS, County, and ICT all to play for with games in hand. Home stretch baby!!

Our very own official club website would you believe chappy! Gutted!!
  24. Oooooh, 2nd sounds appealing!!! All this talk of Malpas taking charge...good coach, but our board have done some foolish things, but i very much doubt that even in the 1st division we would get malpas to hold the reigns. His record speaks for itself. I would like to see Butcher and Malpas signed up for next season. They bring in decent players - notably Hayes, Foran, Bully, Cox was a find aswell, they keep the dressing room, they attract players, and the club gets a bit extra exposure to Butchers name. But i dont blame the board for wanting to see what division we are in to make contract plans. There really is a big difference there.
  25. Don - i like your point of that. 100 tickets, at ?1000 each. My band would probably go in for that...chance to have our name on the shirt, how mint.
