  1. Getting beyond a joke this tbh, no wonder there is an outcry for summer football. Not seen a game of football in aaaaaaaaaaages!!
  2. A move i suspect Killie might regret. Poor Jimmo. As already been said, would be happy to see him in our dugout - if we were mangerless and he was looking for a job. Shouldnt think he would be unemployed for long. But where do Killie go from here.
  3. I do, had we held on for one more minute in our last meeting, im fairly confident Ryan Esson would be taking us to the next round with the penalty kicks. It wasnt to be. This time it will be. As mentioned...Well, Killie, and Falkirk of all the SPL teams are the ones in disripute. They would be my first choice if it were to be SPL teams....apart from Celtic to play them next round. Onwards and upwards. Dont fancy the league now, lets get a wee cup run.
  4. Please please make it Celtic away! Would be so close to it being 10 years to the day, and that would be incentive enough to get the lads up for beating Motherwell - as well as punishing them for that last minute goal in the league cup!!
  5. Easily the best shirt we've ever had. Dont know why Errea didnt stick with stripes for us, we were starting to be renowned for it. Bring back the stripes!!

He is improving. At Dunfermline, most recent game, i had full confidence in him. He even had a mispass, let the striker in, but cool as a cucumber got it back. Name me a player for ICT that doesnt make mistakes? Then look at Bully. Keep him, hes getting better all the time.

It is up online now though? But i do suppose it is too late. Bit disappointed in it to be honest. Unless theres more to come. Dont know what i was expecting, but even a few different colours of armour would be helpful - even if it was in the caley colours would be better! Will have a look in the shop next time im up though, i always end up splashing out on stuff.
  8. Im out of favour for this one, and this has been the first time ive been negative regarding our title hopes. Yes, 2 wins and we are back on track, but then after that it will be the same story as we have been going on. We have talked for weeks about 'if we win this game, we will go on a roll', or 'first win at home will start us off on winning form'. Not this year im afraid. Far too many points dropped in games we should have won, and thats going to continue as far as i can see, especially after the Pars game. Ill carry on to show my support for the rest of this season, even though im settled on the idea of not 'bouncing-back'- the worst slogan we could have ever come up with for this season IMO. I think the aim is to see how good a finish we can get this season, then get settled on the idea of a new manager, new players, try and keep as many of our good players we have at the moment, and try for the SPL in the next 2 or 3 years after that. This is all in my opinion of course, but whats a forum without opinions?

Would put me off slightly if everything is flybe logo'd. Dont know much about sponsorships, but they have been with us along time, probably hold the record, so the kit would then go out of date by 6 months if they dont renew. However, i am intrigued to see what goodies i can get my hands on next time im up, probably the county game!
  10. Im in hospitality for this one, does this make me a bad man? Xmas day out for my Faither, Faither-in-law and brothers, and a few friends of friends. So although the wrong end, me + 9

This is true, the club will lose money in many ways the longer the stuff takes to come in. I have a free weekend coming up, so thought i would make the journey up for the Rovers game and also buy alot of the new kit. Thats pointless now and not going to happen as it doesnt justify coming up considering ill be up for the county game. I go to all the aways, but make journeys up the A9 if theres a reason (eg like buying kit), my band dont have a gig, or a good game. This was one of them, but now no point. Scotty has nailed it....i say we get errea on our terms, or get somone else that would be glad of our custom.
  12. Promising indeed. Lets face it, he wants a move back north, to be closer to his family in Inverness the press have stated, even though im sure his house is in Dingwall - but he aint exactly going to go play for C*nty is he!?
  13. Even if its to do what he is doing for Queens just now....bring him off the bench to create an impact. He wouldnt take half the wage as before too. I see the point of looking to the future though, but if hes not here as a player, there should be a job for him to do :D At least he still lives in Dingwall.
  14. One Barry Wilson is not getting kept on at Queens after January by the looks of things.
  15. Which was a good decision considering we had to hold on for dear life with 9 men. Dani is an attacking player, we had to go semi-defensive.
  16. Its a bad management call that Foran wasnt hooked. As for Barry, you cant put a price on the job he did for us. He will be back at this eventually doing some job, that ive no doubt about. And cant wait for it.

I hope this is true tbh. I think the fact that sides are still scoring by passes and crosses from the right, Lionel was easily the scape goat for this. Tokely is getting right caught out this season aswell, albeit from the other side. Go on Lionel, give us your best mate and thats all we ask for. He gets up the park better than most, and is a big physical pacey guy. Not downing Golly, but a shake up and change of the defence can only be a good thing for the moment imo.

You should in fact kill three birds since this is also scheduled to be Ross Tokely's 500th game for Caley Thistle. (I now imagine that some grumpy old mann will complain that this thread has been dragged off topic :D :D ) Well done mate, what a way to jinx it.....i blame you!!! :P :(
  19. Aw jeeeez, great news!! Whos going to cover him then? Stratford? Cox?

Definitely dont work a new team around Munro, or Tokely. We need to think bigger than that surely. Have to say, although hes a Caley legend, Tokely hasnt been on his toes and been getting WELL caught out by younger wingers. Anyway, for me, if we dont get promoted, the whole club needs a reshuffle. Board, managers, players, the lot. Get this club even close to how it was once before. This includes positives from the fans. We have came up 3 leagues, and down just 1 in 15 years. Lets get the club back to where we belong, and thats the top flight. The highlands needs it.

what are we, back to 6th again then yeah? then 8 points behind the leaders. Ach, tis our own fault. Mind you, if the pars can go down there and beat Queens, theres no reason we cant.

Ive decided im coming up on the 12th, kill two birds as ill get to the Raith game and get my new gear that i fancy. Intrigued to see what stuff we get in.
  23. Even with 120 of us at Firhill, we made far more noise than 2000+ Partick supporters. We cant even do that at home!
  24. For obvious reasons, give me the Cowdenbeath/Alloa tie, then Cowdenbeath go on to pump Alloa, id be a very happy man. Mind you, the way things are going, i could be seeing ICT alot more in my town next season :D
  25. I was sitting just in front of you then Top Six, could not believe the chant, outstanding mate :P Wee funny story...went to Livingstone shopping first (a deal with the girl), then went to the game, rushed home, played a gig in Kirkcaldy with my band, then shot to through to Dunfermline for a night out. After being at the nightclub me and a mate had the munchies so went to the chippy. I could hear 2 glaswegian women talking, so making drunken small talk i said 'oh i was through at Glasgow today', and one replied 'we are just through here for my mates 30th, why were you at glasgow?'. I said i was an Inverness supporter and was through watching the game at Partick Thistle, to which she shouts OH MY GOD!! and shouts to a guy called Ian at the counter....its only Ian Maxwell!! Haha! Had a good bit banter with him, although i could hardly wind him up eh! His wife said then she loves Inverness, i said good football team but its a cracking place. She said yeah she loved it up there when she stayed for 3 years. I asked what took her up there, and she said it was because Ian was at County...i didnt know this and just shouted 'Aw jesus, it just gets f'n worse!!!' How much of a small world really is this world!!! So, not the best of games, but what a cracking atmosphere for such a small crowd of us!! Will still be there to support the boys, wont get me down!! But something still really needs to click - and put our chances away!!
