Does anyone remember........................
On the whole, I prefer constantly drawing with or losing narrowly to Aberdeen than sticking 6 past Alloa.

Interesting New Employee......
Welcome back BL but please leave these **** irritating drums at home !

1 win this year!!
I wouldn't go so far as to day the club is in a mess from top to bottom. There may indeed be issues but at least we appear financially sound which must be one of the more important aspects of managing the company.

Interesting New Employee......
Barry Robson ? Early days yet but John Rankin also seems to have made a promising enough start to life after Caley Thistle.

GRETNA RESIGN FROM SFL
Nevertheless, they managed to play all their first division fixtures there last season without any incident. I appreciate that Gretna have a track record of renaging on promises which is far from satisfactory but from the point of view of sporting merit, I'd rather see them suffer some financial penalty for that rather than a technical relegation. It looks like they will be back in he third division soon enough as it stands.

GRETNA RESIGN FROM SFL
Seems a bit harsh if Raydale was deemed by the SFL to be fit for First Division football last season.
-
BOTTOM SIX TEAMS
I agree, we must beat Falkirk if we are to continue to harbour any top six ambitions this season. I think we will do so but, then again, I was fairly confident that we had the beating of Hearts.

Welcome, despite the fact that you declare yourself "Caley" through and through !

Players For Next Season
Not a good quality in a goalkeeper.
-
BOTTOM SIX TEAMS
What with Rangers and Celtic miles ahead as usual and the relagation issue effectively settled by christmas ?
-
Players For Next Season
After saturday's showing a reliable central defender, if not two, is a must.
-
BOTTOM SIX TEAMS
An away game at Pittodrie towards the end of the season isn't much consolation for recent mediocrity.

ICT -V- Hearts : matchday thread
What's happened to the defence since Dods left ? The number of soft goals we've coceded this season is shocking. Surely time for Watt to get an outing McGuire has been dreadful of late.

1 win this year!!
Given that we're under no real threat of relegation, I still believe that Brewster should be given until the end of the season before his position is reviewed. What happens then very much depends on what he mabnaged to achieve between now and then.

Interesting New Employee......
Robertson would be a good addition to the staff. I suspect that as Director of Football he would carry more influence and be able to attract better players north than the Bennett/Brewster combo.

Dale Gillespie and Jamie Duff sign new deals
Tokley was on professional forms at both Aberdeen and Huntly before he signed for us so we can't really claim him as a product of our youth system. Same goes for Hastings who played for Caley in the Highland League did he not ?

End of SPL groundsharing?
Pity just because of one bad experience with an already very poor pitch.
-
FA CUP GLORY
Every chance. Good luck.

Weather
I don't think that there's too much doubt about our match but nobody will be surprised to leasrn that Gretna's "home" match at Fir Park is in serious doubt and a morning pitch inspection has been arranged.

Players For Next Season
Steve certainly seemed to have an eye for a player.
-
Baz Leaving ICT
If St Johnstone can narrow the gap between themselves and Hamilton & Dundee over the next month they may be very keen on keeping him until the end of the season for a promotion push.
-
Michael Barnes
Deano does seem to be one of a group of players that Brewster, for some reason, has little time for.
-
Who's happy?
Iagree with Scotty, what happens next season will be crucial to the mid term future of the club. I have a feling that we will either progress into the top six or be involved in a battle against relegation. Somehow or other I don't foresee another "comfortable" finish in 7th or 8th place.

Michael Barnes
I suppose Deano has had a similar career path. Starting out as a well regarded member of the Arsenal youth set up before failing to impress in the English lower divisions or, more recently, with ICT.
