We will not be changing our manager because we simply can't afford to. -
Why? Some of our fans need to get a reality check. I appreciate there was the typical pre season optimism that you see from nearly every team relegated from the SPL into SFL1 but there were signs early on we wouldn't be good enough to sustain a title challenge. All four of those teams are better than us. ---------------- Now playing: Innerpartysystem - Die Tonight Live Forever via FoxyTunes Yes I know and I didn't expect to be prompted this season but to do as poorly as that against the better teams in this mediocre league certainly beggers my belief !

So that's 2 from a possible 21 from the top four, shocking!!! Almost beggers belief for the club relegated from the higher division.

Just about undertandable from his point of view as he's hardly going to be hot property on the managerial market come the summer. -

Maybe I should have been more specific in referring to players coming through our own youth system. I wouldn't disagree with those who are advocating waiting until after the festive fixtures before writing off any lingering hopes of promotion. -
Interested to hear from those at the game but it seems that this Ref lost control of a game for the second consecutive week.

Given that we're now 10 points behind an ever improving Dundee team it seems very unlikely to me that we are going to buck recent trends and bounce straight back into the SPL. Nor are we likely to be at serious risk of relegation. That being the case, is now not the time to be looking to the future and introducing the likes of Liam Polwarth and Nick Ross to the first team ?

This is not a call for our Manager's head hence the reason I've posted on the non ICT Forum but today's latest failure to turn a half time advantage into three points makes it even more likely that ICT be plying their trade in the First Division next season. That being the case we will, without doubt, be looking for a new manager in the spring. No doubt there will be further financial trimming so we will be shopping in the bargain basement. So, who are the promising young managers either acting as coaches or assistants at the moment or currently doing well at a part time level ?

Think that we probably needed all three points today to retain a realistic interest in the title. W must be coming very close to setting a record for squandering half time leads !

The forwards better be on form as I can see that back four leaking at least three goals.

Couldn't agee more Alex hence the reason that out decorations are not going up until a fortnight today despite the kids protesting that most of their friends houses are festooned already.

I'd be surprised if we won the league this year based on current form but I'd be even more surprised if we ended the season below Ross County.

I too expect Q.O.S. and Ross County to fall out of contention in the new year but wouldn't be surprised to see something of a four horse race involving Dundee, Partick, Dunfermline and ourselves.

I see that the England South Africans thrashed the South Africa South Africans in today's one day international. Maybe familiarity with the surroundings was an advantage !
