  1. I would be happy with Tam McManus who has yet to commit himself for next season, Richard Offiong or both.
  2. I predict a record sixth place finish.
  3. Can't complain about two guaranteed home matches against each of Rangers, Hearts and Aberdeen. The Rangers match first off might also help boost season ticket sales which have apparently been a bit sluggish so far.
  4. That's been under discussion for a number of weeks now.
  5. Labonte would certainly be of interest.
  6. That's nearly a fortnight now that he's been without an income. Quite an incentive to come to a decision sooner rather than later.
  7. That would be an exciting prospect.
  8. I'm glad to see Morgan get this opportunity. I think he has great potential.
  9. I see that our next fixture is a friendly againt Elgin City at Borough Briggs. Does anyone know why the Borough part of Elgin's ground is spelt the english way ?
  10. Not altogether a bad thing as the two lads concerned can now enjoy a full close season break and return to training refreshed.
  11. They may, however, have a better grasp of grammar than Blackieforce.
  12. She still is I believe.
  13. I don't think that either the player or the club can be faulted, what use would a public ultimatum serve ?
  14. I agree the lad clearly had the potential to play ay a high level and but for injuries might well have been a stalwart for ICT. Good luck to him in Dingwall.
  15. Sadly, we're unlikely ever to witness such a skillful and entertaining Scotland line up ever again. Those were indeed the days !
  16. I suspect the money came from the pocket of the individual who personally pays Shearer's £25,000 salary for managing a part time Highland League team.
  17. Clach.
  18. A step in the right direction. Personally, I would like to see each and every team in the competition from round one with no seeding.
  19. Name an instance where the courts have forced the SPL past. I certainly can't think of an occasion. The only issue in recent times which even got through the doors of the Court Of Session was Partick's application for an interdict and we all knw what became of that. I'm not suggesting that we do nothing but the only forum that will make a difference is the SPL itself. Accordingly ICT should concentrate on lobbying the other member clubs.
  20. Who could forget the big man's unique style.
  21. There's little point in going to court. The courts, in this country, are reluctant to get involved in the internal affairs of private organisations such as the SPL unless there is some manifest injustice involved. While there is a healthy debate to be had on the question of safe standing areas, there is no doubt that if the majority of SPL clubs insist that all seated stadia are a prerquisite of membership the court will not interfere with that decision.
  22. Decent performance on the whole.
  23. Very ggod wishes to him. He'll be the best defender in that division by a mile. Thanks for all the memories especially that historic first SPL goal.
  24. Well said Johndo, you'd obviously been off the stamps for a while before composing that missive.
  25. Hard luck Buffy, you were unfortunate to lose. Look forward to seeing you all in the SPL again the season after next. Hopefully not at our expense.
