Parratt released ?
I thought he was a decent prospect. Sorry to hear this news.

Aberdeen V ICT - 1:1 final score
A reasonable performance and a fair result. If we can maintain our winning run against Hibs on saturday our season will be off to an acceptable start.

Dods
Dods is contracted for the season which has only just started. Unless we receive a very substantial offer he should be held to that contract. He is experienced and mature enough not to let that affect his performance. Come the end of the season when he is free to go I doubt if Craig Brewster will be manager atTannadice, or anywhere else for that matter, which may or may not be a factor in what Dods does then. If Dundee United are out of the equation he may well have limited options.

Tipped For The Drop
Smart executive action.

Tipped For The Drop
Thank goodness for that, I was getting paranoide that nobody in the media had tipped us for relegation this season.
-
Healthy Finances
Because the trust put it towards the erection of two new stands.

Testing Times for Christie
We, as notoriously slow starters' narrowly lost thye first game of the season. A disappointment but hardly the makings of a crisis.
-
Golly
The really difficult question for CC is should he be afforded that opportunity ?
-
Healthy Finances
I many respects that doesn't matter as the club have directly benifited from the investment.
-
Golly
There was a time when he was our most reliable player week in week out as a result of which he was, quite rightly, made club captain. Unfortunately, he played poorly when given an opportunity at the end of last season and was, if anything, even worse yesterday. Golly has been a great club servant over the years but his last few outings cast serious doubt on hether he has the ability to play well at SPL level any more.

ICT 1 - 2 St Mirren (FINAL SCORE)
I was a poor performance with the defence often looking like they had only met one another for the first time when they went out for the warm up. That said, it was only the first game of the season and we're hardly famed for being fast out of the blocks. I'm confident that we will take something from Pittodrie next week to kick start the season.

Caley v St. Mirren - team news
Or the Teletext report is wrong or incomplete.

Brewster At It Again!
I could easily get into that spirit also.

Black and Proctor
Sounds a bit suspicious to me.

Healthy Finances
In our case the balance sheet is not a particularly helpful barometer of financial health. The profit nd loss acount is far more important.
-
Healthy Finances
Otherwise we would have ben at least another £160,000 to the good.
-
Healthy Finances
In addition at least part of the cost of upgrading the floodlighting system will be included in these accounts which will be, without doubt, the healthiest in the SPL. Whilst the profit and loss account looks healthy the balance sheet remains pretty thindue to the club owning few assets, on the other hand there are only limited liabilities.

Jim Love
I was very sad to learn of the premature passing of Courier editor Jim Love this week. Although our paths haven't crossed for years I got to know Jim quite well two decades ago when we both regularly frequented Inverness Sheriff Court. Journalists are not always the most popular of people but Jim was a man of great warmth and integrity with a great interest in local sport in general and football in particular. Sincere condolences to Joan and the family.

The final is live on BBC 2 AT 6.55 pm on saturday.

Healthy Finances
I don't think that we need to regard the SKY payments as an extraordinary item any more. While it wouldn't be prudent to budget for such payments I would like to think that we could now aspire to feature once or twice a season.
-
Healthy Finances
Their turnover will still be twice ours. I doubt if they show a profit though.
-
Healthy Finances
The two live SKY matches would certainly have helped.
-
Fox to Livi
Livingston's interest in Fox has been common knowledge for weeks, the only real question is whether or not it will be a loan deal.
-
Healthy Finances
The club have reported a pre tax profit of£220,000 for the financial year to 31st May. Turnover is up from £2,741,738 to £3,262,813. A top six finish this season or a cup final, preferably both, could see turnover of four million pound next time around.

You Tell Them Davie Boy!!
Robson would have to take a very substantial pay cut indeed to fit back within our pay structure. I can't see him agreeing to that in the prime of his career.
