Because he's a wee bigot . Now I'm confused. Are you saying Gorman's 'a wee bigot' or I am?

Pure ragin' so I am DC. Seriously though, while I do have some sympathy for 'public figures' who's comments will obviously be scrutinised more than others, plus there's always that group of people who just can't wait to be offended by anything and everything. People (particularly younger people) need to realise that if you put your views and opinions, (especially if they're controversial) out there in a public way you have to be prepared people to disagree and respond to that, they don't exist in a vacuum. If those comments are threatening, sectarian, racist then the repercussions can be even more serious. Employers these days often check potential employee's social media to see what they can find. So while folk might think it's hilarious to tweet that bigoted joke / pic of you getting stoned etc it's maybe not the wisest!
  3. This ^^^^
  4. Can't be ersed tbh...
  5. I think ibrox will be the chosen venue as well. As much as I detest the Orcs I think it would generate a better atmosphere as the piggery is too big and it won't sell out I reckon we will see 30k Dons fans and possibly 6-7k of our fans which is not anywhere capacity but it would look better in Ibrox Anyway it should keep the likes of Fraz happy Dougal If reports are correct then it it seems I will be left dejected. WATP

Your best bet would be the club shop at the stadium I guess, just pop in if you're local or give them a ring on 01463 222880 to ask what they have.
  7. I'll be there with my eldest.
  8. Now that I've been home for a while, had a chance to grab a couple of beers and carefully reflect upon today's history making events, all I can really think of before going to bed shortly is
  9. Shamelessly stolen from P&B
  10. May depend on the conditions and who's the convener so these may vary a bit from bus to bus - No planned toilet stops all buses will have toilets onboard. Probably around 30 mins, as far as I'm aware they're leaving after from Leith Links unless the police change that. Buses will return to where they picked you up, not much use leaving your car in Inshes and getting dropped off at the stadium!
  11. I'm reliably informed that Hartley never got the job as he was told to get lost just after walking in the door unfortunately being mistaken for a wandering hobo.

Don't think Renegade was having a go just passing comment.
  13. (Warning nawty words)
  14. Fair enough Davie, I appreciate the effort you and your entourage made on your pilgrimage to Hampden but in all honesty I could have told you the outcome long before you even made the journey The Scottish Sun saved the day and if that was a knock on effect from your meeting then fair play Dougal Don't forget to book your bus Dougal, or are you getting a hotel on Saturday night in Edinburgh on your way back from the County game in Killie?
  15. When I'm sitting at Telford Street I can't really disagree with that, they definitely have moved a bit.
  16. I'd be surprised if it was all going to be spent. I reckon some would be kept back to help cover our usual operating costs / shortfall. Probably Tansey would take Toby's place on the wage bill.
  17. If they are allowed to sign players the day before the SF 'Ngoo style' I will be raging. If they subsequently win, probably from a Skacel goal I will be an absolute seething mess.
  18. Yeah I think it's Jamie he's on about, shame what happened, really nice lad.
  19. There is as far as I know no insurance that will 'pay to get him fit' or cover the cost of his wage to the club although there may be private medical insurance. There are many jobs out there particularly in there trades (which I'd say were more dangerous in many cases than football) where if you're ill / injured, say a joiner badly cuts their hand on a ripsnorter unless you've taken out your own insurance all you'll see is your SSP until you can do your job again. You could argue that footballers (at all clubs of course) like public sector workers are quite fortunate to have favourable sickness terms. So yes I'd like for him to look at ICT in a positive light when weighting his options.
  20. My niece works in it (and she's an ICT fan!) and it does very well apparently. It's also I believe the only place locally that does the 'proper' shirt numbers and names. Not much of an ICT fan if you ask me, I'd rather be signing on than being on the pay roll for one of the old firm With your fondness for the other side of darkness that must hurt though lol Dougal Comments like that from the self confessed County supporter ring a little hollow I'm afraid. I also hate to break it to you but not everyone who works and plays for ICT are ICT supporters. Shocking I know, but true.
  21. Seems I was a bit hasty offering my congrats here to Caleyjagsforever when the real heros were the Scottish Sun Dougal You're right of course as The Scottish Sun make a habit of ringing round supporters groups randomly offering 4 figure sums out of the goodness of their heart. Can't believe I bit.
  22. I'm not happy with the cheeky 25% ticket price increase, venue or time either. Although everyone's circumstances are different most pensioners I meet seem to have more disposable income than many other people. As OCG says, £30 to hopefully see us make our first major final isn't that bad. The players have once again done well to reach this stage and by not attending as some kind of 'up ye SPFL' stance they are the one's who are let down the most.
  23. We really need to stop giving the ball away so cheaply.
