  1. Yep, Keddie is a terrible defender. The County fans I know were all glad to see the back of him. The also remarked that Keddie and Dowie, who have teamed up again at Dunfermline, was the centre back pairing that saw then relegated in 2006-2007.
  2. Vigurs wouldn't make our bench these days. Brittain may do. Gardyne isn't very good either.
  3. According to a Russ Conway fan I know Brewster will also be joining Hibs as a coach. Watch this space I suppose.
  4. According to the official Hibs site he is their new assistant manager. Adams joins Hibs
  5. Barnes, Hendrie and Coughlin off the top of my head.
  6. We also got a couple of St Mirren managers their jotters. Tom Hendrie and John Coughlin if memory serves.
  7. Thouroughly deserved, he's been superb in 2010. He should start wide left ahead of Wotherspoon of Hibs who, as everyone knows, isn't very good. Edit - Ally's younger brother Mark Ridgers is also in the squad. Good to see another Inverness boy getting international recognition.
  8. Mr Wonder could have seen it was in sitting in his Detroit mansion watching through a telescope. A good yard over and that was from the back of the North Stand.
  9. I've always thought 'what are you on about?' when folk have said to me 'I never go to Parkhead/Ibrox, it's a horrible place and overall a horrible day out'. I really enjoy going there and have never seen/heard any trouble any time I've been there. They can sing all the rubbish they want - It isn't directed at me and I'm not offended by it as a result. Outside the stadium before and after, none of the home fans even look twice at you and just bustle about like any other fans would outside their stadium. The stewards inside are quite lenient (not suprising with it being an OF stadium) and the catering is usually really good.
  10. None I'd suggest. If you properly coach a player how to play football, he will become a better player. In Scotland, players are left to rely on their 'natural ability' and just get told to get stuck in and show 'plenty of heart' by their coaches. That's where we falter as a nation.
  11. Can I ask in what way? Better coaching will improve the football, not playing against more teams.
  12. 25 going by his profile. Which makes this even more cringey.
  13. Are folk seriously bothered about what reputation level they have on an Internet forum? Deary me.
  14. Chasing down pass-backs and generally running around chasing after the ball Kenny Miller style both wastes energy and as above, leaves a big gap between the striker and the midfield, which is detrimental to the team should the midfield pick up the second ball. Marking the space between the centre-halfs or the centre half and fullback is what the striker should be doing.
  15. They're playing against better players than last season for a kick off.
  16. We played them in the cup at Victoria Park in 2005 and won 1-0. Golabek scored I think. Am I imaging it or did we beat them 4-1/4-2 a couple of pre-seasons back? I may have dreamt it mind you.
  17. I'm sure Daisy's debut would have been the first game of that season (95-96) as he signed in the summer, if memory serves (I was only 10 at the time).
  18. Beats me. I've just been reminded about the Scottish Cup tie in March 2002 against Partick Thistle at Firhill. A great game. Russel Duncan's finest in an ICT shirt I reckon.
  19. Going by some folks reply's - there's some awful young lads/lassie's on this forum!
  20. Whatta guy Daisy was. Kinlochbervie's finest. I remember him in the mid 90's at Telford Street ripping the absolute Michael out of the Brechin/Forfar/Albion Rovers full back.
  21. Good to see. It was never a red card in the first place. There was no stamp on Hayes.
  22. Ooft, I forgot about this one. A great performance.
  23. Where to start?! The 8-1 victory against Annan Athletic in 1998 The 4-3 loss against Livingston in 1999. 3-1 against Celtic in 2000. 3-1 against Hearts in 2002. The Ayr United maulings. The double headers against Clyde and St Johnstone in 2004. Every other OF victory along with February 8th.
  24. I had a wee giggle when he said that if I'm honest.
