  1. Hibs have been brutal this season for the most part. Should the club really be looking at their cast-offs?
  2. I would go to Belladrum just to see them.
  3. First of all, my language was rather shocking yesterday, the C word was used quite often and for that I find myself cringing. My use of the word was directed purely at the ref for his disgusting performance yesterday. The 2 stand outs for me was the first Tokely booking, which wasn't even a foul. The second was the Hearts goal. Kenny put the ball out and it rolled about 15 yards down field, where by Thomson picked it up and threw it to Suso to cut back to Elliot. Now I don't usually mind a few extra yards being gained, but the throw was taken a full 15 yards down field from where the ball went out and as a result our defence weren't in position to defend the throw and Suso was able to cut it back. Just watching it back on the highlights there, none of our players are in position as (I hope) they were assuming Thomson would have picked the ball up and go back to where it went out.
  4. There was a minute silence for John today before Clach's 4-2 victory over Turriff United.
  5. Well I've gone by the date on the post so
  6. An April fools on March 31st. Poor effort. Very poor.
  7. There seemed to be more pubs in town back in the 60's and 70's than there are now!
  8. It's not as cool as Groove Armada.
  9. Members of my family get to every away game and remark that it's the same lads of about 16/17 who get ejected every week. Bit of a waste of money going really.
  10. Hamilton Accies. A horrible club with the infrastructure of a 2nd Division side. Which is hopefully where they will be heading 12 months from now.
  11. In my experience, watching OF games in pubs in town brings out the refuseniks. Whilst in the lavvy or at the bar I'm always asked who I support. The usual response I get when I inform them I support ICT and neither of the filth is usually with distain - 'Aww you don't support the scum do ya?' or 'Aye my favver used to support Caley in the Highland League but he refuses to go to the dump now eh. I'm a Rangers man through and through though'. This, invariably, comes from Rangers fans. Most Celtic fans, again in my experience, show more apathy towards ICT for some reason.
  12. What about an ICT Real flag? Think one already exists.
  13. Good to see a Union Jack in the home end last night celebrating our colours of Red,White and Blue. The lads in section G actually ran the idea past me last week and I agreed would be a good way for them to show their support for ICT.
  14. I was under the impression that if all the surrounding areas were included (Culloden, Smithton and the rest) the population would be about 65,000?
  15. Against United on Tuesday, the stand side linesman waited for the ref to give the call on no less than 3 occasions. 2 of these incidents happened righ infront of the guy.
  16. It's for the supporters bus. Do you know how much it is to hire a 52 seater on a Saturday? Something in the region of ?450. The SC only charge something like a tenner a head so fundraising events like this subsidise the cost of the hiring of a bus. I don't really think supporters need to part with even more cash than they already do supporting the club what with ticket prices and food/drink etc. The club can perferctly afford to subsidise the team bus without the help of the supporters.
  17. It's a good ethos. I'm sick of hearing from fans of other teams how we've played more games than everyone else. So what? We've got the points in the bag and you don't. You've still to earn them. Title's aren't one on games played.
  18. This may have already been covered and apologies if it has - there was a Hearts fan on P&B last month after the 1-0 Hearts victory at Tynie against Rangers who said his brother-in-law is a PS with Lothian and Borders and they are instructed by the match commander to basically get the OF fans into the ground, then out again with the minimum of fuss. They are left to stand as one and sing and chant anything they like. The brother-in-law said they get away with all sorts from breaking the seats to threatening the stewards and pilliging the pie stalls on the concourse. This is the same at all Scottish stadia as well apparently. So it literally is one rule for them and another for everyone else.
  19. Dortmund also have an excellent standing area. I think it might even be the largest football terrace in Europe. *checks Wiki* Yup, seems it is. Have a look at http://en.wikipedia....nal_Iduna_Park. Pretty impressive! The Signal Iduna Park (The Westfalonstadion to me and you) is quite the football ground. They seem to add to it every year! The section in the top right of the ground being one example.
  20. The guy had pretty limited ability. Where did you envisage him ending up?
  21. I couldn't care less if United/Motherwell go ahead of us. As long as the likes of Hamilton and St Mirren (teams on par with us) keep getting beat then I'll be happy.
  22. I've worked with John at Clach and he is a superb coach . What he has done for youth football in Inverness is unfathomable. Well deseved.
  23. Correct. Brazil can play their home games wherever they want.
