After a poor start we matched Utd and would have been well worth a draw, but lacked creativity and finishing. For the penalty award, it looked like Coll won the ball cleanly, but with 2 feet and then sliding through through the opponent.

Well, we improved as the half went on. Looked like we were on course for a doing early on, when we were getting overrun and Utd went close 3 times in the first 10 mins.

For the record I thought MacDonald was pretty good when he came on yesterday, brought a bit of spark that was otherwise lacking. MacCauley just looked like what he is, a part time player thrown into a full time team without much time to adapt.

No sign of a deflection for the goal, as far as I can see. It just looks like Ridgers misjudged it and started moving to his right when he shouldn’t have done, and then it was too late to recover.

The accounts for last season are due to be filed by the end of this month.

What actually happened with Ridgers for the goal? Routine looking save but the shot went through him. You know it’s not your day when even your most dependable player messes up.

We actually improved a lot when Austin came on and we went 442. Started playing football and created a few half chances at least.

We've been really poor. Nothing going on upfront and a few dodgy moments in defence. McCauley lucky not to get a second yellow (subbed a minute later) and McCart could have had a needless penalty awarded against him when trying to shepherd the ball out. McKay was looking out for the count after Ridgers caught him punching a cross away. We'll need to improve if we are to take anything from this game.

4th game in a row that we’ve conceded 2 goals. We simply don’t have the attacking prowess to be scoring 3 a game, so hopefully after a period of makeshiftedness our defenders can quickly get back to full fitness and play as a more solid unit.
