  1. I'd have though that a man of your age would be accustomed to suffering leaks!
  2. Commentary from J.M. Barrie-Wilson.
  3. Jake (Mulraney) and the Neverland Pirates!
  4. I believe the structure is: Ross County Football Club (1998) Ltd is the footballing entity. Its majority shareholder is GEG Capital (Howe Moss) Ltd, which is wholly owned by GEG Capital (North) Ltd, which is owned by the MacGregor family (Roy having a majority stake). The comments tweeted above by The Offshore Game about the failure to submit an annual return to Companies House actually relate to "Ross County Football Club Ltd" which they fail to realise does not run the football operations. That company was the immediate parent of Ross County Football Club (1998) Ltd until just over a year ago, but now only holds a minority stake. Nevertheless, it is still bizarre for it to be 6 months late in filing, which is a criminal offence. That company is also owned by GEG Capital (Howe Moss) Ltd, so part of the MacGregor family empire, and Roy is one of the directors who could be prosecuted and fined for this, as well as getting a criminal record. Now that would be a story......
  5. The correct proninciation of Paris is "Paree" but if you go round saying that, people just think you are a pretentious knob.
  6. That's 1 point from 9 against 3 mediocre sides....in which we had the majority of possession each time! Sounds like defence was better today, what we need next is a cutting edge.
  7. Draper would have saved that......
  8. Hamilton are 5/2, which seems very generous given their good record up here, our injuries, lack of defenders and general p1shness recently, and that's even even before you take into account the potential lack of goalkeepers.
  9. Just put Draper in goals. Wherever we play him, he's usually our best player!
  10. Could just be that one of the current ones (like Polworth) is going to be out for months/the rest of the season. (Pure speculation/guesswork on my part, I have no inside knowledge)
  11. Sounds to me like someone is on the wind-up! PS It's Ben Woodburn, not Woodward.
  12. Liam Hughes was in the Barrow team that got a 2-1 FA Cup win at Bristol Rovers today.
  13. Sell the rights to Diareze and use the money to stop leaks at the back.....
  14. In this era of names like the Tony Macaroni Arena and the Totally Wicked Stadium, what would you like (or not like) our ground to be called if the naming rights were up for grabs? (I'm not implying that the transfer of the stands will lead to a change of a name any time soon, just hoping that amongst all the doom and gloom on the pitch, our fans have retained enough sense of humour to lift my spirits!)
  15. Indeed! Basically it's been a good day spoiled only by ICT's dismal performance.
  16. Positives for me from today: 1. I thought Draper did well in defence. 2. I got a free ticket so didn't have to pay to endure that sh1te. 3. Had a free £5 bet to use and stuck it on St J. 4. Short journey home for me, and got back to find that at the school Xmas fete my wee girls had cleaned up on the bottle stall - Famous Grouse x2, Smirnoff, Sauvignon blanc, Port and some beer!
  17. I think most fans would rather see it go into strengthening the squad. Nobody really wants subsidised buses and displays against the likes of Dumbarton or Ayr, do they?
  18. Foran said after today's debacle that our problem is that we have too many attack minded players, we need more defence minded players and he will address this in January as funds are available.
  19. No sign of injury, I think it was just a case of the game being over as a contest and giving Gilchrist a wee bit of game time as he may be needed soon given our lack of defensive options at the moment. Never seen him before, but he happears to have the physique of a solid defender.
  20. Pains me to say it but Gary Warren was a complete liability today, and I was saying that long before he got either of his 2 stupid yellows. In the first half Saints players waltzed past him numerous times, including at the goal. It looks like opponents have identified his lack of pace as a weak link, and the only way he can stop attackers is to foul them, hence the 2 yellows. It's a real shame, he was immense for us when he stepped up from part time football, find of the century. Sadly now, he is all heart but nae legs.
  21. Any Saints fan or neutral may well conclude today that ICT are a bunch of uncultured thugs, incapable of playing football, or defending, or attacking. They might also conclude that we are the worst team they have seen this season, that we are getting relegated and that the league will be better without us. And based purely on today, it would be hard for me to disagree.
  22. Blimey, the poll results have ended up as a near-perfect standard distribution curve!
  23. We will be responsible for those costs already.
  24. The value of that publicity over 10 years would be a few hundred thousand pounds, in the context of a gift worth millions. Remains to be seen whether a condition of the gift is that the Tulloch name has to remain, but even if it does, it's a great deal for us. The only downside I can think of concerns responsibility for replacement of the seating structures which may be getting towards the end of their life. Clearly ICT will have to pay for that when the time comes, but would that otherwise have been the landlord's responsibility? It would depend on the terms of the lease.
  25. This is the best Christmas present ever!
