  1. Can we send that clip to all the clubs who might be interested in signing him?
  2. Whilst in a Perth supermarket today, my attention was caught by a poster of our stadium! The St Johnstone fans have chosen their game at TCS on 19th February as the destination for their annual "massive blue & white away day" where they get as many fans as they can to go to an away game in party mood. They get it coverage in the local papers, and have professionally produced posters up in dozens of pubs and shops to promote the gathering. Some fans are also making a night or weekend of it as well, as you'll see on this lengthy forum thread We Are Perth Fair play to them for chosing Inverness and for putting so much effort into this, which will create a bit of atmosphere and of course put some extra dosh in our coffers. I very much hope that we make them feel very welcome, and most of all, that we teach them a lesson in football and send them back down the A9 with their trip having been fun but ultimately "pointless".
  3. Isn't is Angus?!
  4. Dundee United boss Peter Houston said his team "dodged a bullet" by having their game at Inverness on Wednesday called off - the Tannadice side were without eight first-team regulars. (The Herald)
  5. The only person who should be apologising is him!
  6. Heard on the radio that Stephen Fletcher doesn't want to be considered for Scotland any more. He was apparently selected in this squad but then sent a text to someone at the SFA saying he wasn't interested.
  7. Until I heard him interviewed today I hadn't realised he was a Geordie. Well, not actually a Geordie, he's from Middlesborough, which I believe makes him a Smoggie. I think this could be a very good signing, provided the player is aiming for a contract offer from ICT for next season.
  8. You just don't get match previews like this in the broadsheets What next, Burns style for Killie? And when we next play Aberdeen, erm....Annie Lennox?
  9. I don't think Levein has picked the wrong 3 keepers, its just that Esson is very unlucky to be up against such high quality competition at the time he hits the form of his life.
  10. I suspect Terry would be in favour of some or all of those things happening, especially if it frees up money to bring in someone who could improve the first team.
  11. The BBC deadline day page places Cadamarteri in London talking to the Crawley manager. However, it can be even less reliable than Pie & Bovril so I wouldn't read too much into that.
  12. Well done to each of them. Great to have 2 3 players represented. The league leaders have none.
  13. One thing we know is that Hibs must be absolutely desparate for someone who will score goals. In a relegation fight now and 7 games without a goal, (and two of those matches were against Ayr Utd).
  14. Yep, this is the make or break day. All the national media speculation is centering around Fernando Torres and Adam Rooney, with sums around ?50m being mentioned. Window is open until midnight in Scotland (but only 11pm in England, because they go to bed earlier). I'll be delighted if we end the day with Rooney staying for the rest of the season, but I think its a case of who he goes to to, not whether he goes.
  15. Very unlikely, you've got to be one helluva tw@t to get banned from here and it very rarely happens.
  16. You're right about the comedy potential. I'd like to see them move to the Al Jazeera news channel instead, imparting their wisdom on middle eastern politics and the latest jihadist videos. I can just see it. Keys: And I'm hearing there's been another beheading in Kandahar. Andy, what can you tell us? Gray: Oh ya beauty! What a strike! Good build up, then suddenly he cut across, and bang, clean as you like. Nothing at all the peacekeeper could do about that one. I think that's Mohammed's 4th of the season. Take a bow, son! Keys: And who's been causing all the problems for the defence? Gray: It's the Saudi lad again, Big Osama, who seems to be involved in all the attacks. He's a threat in the air, and they just can't keep up with him either, it looks like he can just run and run. Not only that, but he's behind some well worked set pieces - that last one was straight off the training ground. It's no surprise that he's wanted by some bigger clubs. Keys: And how long is left? Gray: By my watch I reckon about...10 years. Plus injury time. And there's been plenty of that, with both sides getting stuck in. That's what I like to see, plenty of blood and guts. Keys: And what's your view on the match officials? Gray: Pretty dodgy if you ask me. Far too inexperienced for a contest like this, and it's pretty obvious that there's widespread corruption. But you know what? None of that matters, because at least they're all MEN. Keys: Thanks Andy, that's the spirit! Right, it's time for a break, but we'll be back right after...Oh, hang on, apparently we won't.
  17. I think the point Kirishima is making is that the player has never endured any such treatment whatsoever in Scotland and this explanation has been fabricated to defuse a potential situation with their old enemy Japan. Anyway, the centuries of hostilities between the Koreans and Japanese continue, and apparently it's all because they just can't say sorry.
  18. It's always been the case that we only really notice and appreciate what he does when he's not actually there.
  19. I hope they replace Keys with the legendary anchorman Ron Burgundy.
  20. It's ironic that Sky get all uppity about outdated, sexist attitudes when 5 of the 9 Sky Sports News presenters are young, pretty, blonde females. The most qualified applicants for the job, were they? Not that I'm complaining.
  21. In the SPL: 10 games without a win Only 1 goal scored in our last 5 9 games since we score more than one 2011 is not as much fun as 2010.
  22. That word has been featuring in my thoughts recently. But only for the results, not really for the performances.
  23. Are we anywhere near the final whistle yet? :unhappy:
  24. And if we keep recruiting Irish players we'll probably end up with a Moran and a Horan too. Anyway, enough of these name plays, it's getting a bit boran.
  25. On the radio this morning, it was suggested that Gray has for a while been considering sueing the News of the World (part of Murdoch's empire) for phone hacking, which might not be the wisest move for an employee of Sky (also part of Murdoch's empire). Conspiracy theory?
