  1. I'll close this tomorrow and announce the results, although there seems to be a clear winner. As things stand Mark McCulloch is the only player without any votes. Wasn't he our captain that night?
  2. I disagree. I think that up until now, the power of the bigger clubs might have led to them getting off more lightly. But this change removes the discretion (or favouratism) any panel would have, and can only result in more consistent treatment.
  3. Makes it very clear what happens if you field an ineligible player, which has got to be a good thing.

Wilkie was rubbish as a striker, a fish out of water. I think the only time that tactic had any real success was against us, because our defending against him was just embarassing.
  5. Yes, against Annan. (Montrose was the Challenge Cup.)

I hope he does well and gets a game once in a while. Must be so boring always being a sub goalie.
  7. I think I've mentioned before that when Terry Butcher was at Rangers around 1990, he was right behind me at a Motley Crue gig. He left early, and I don't blame him.
  8. 0844 calls costs a maximum of 5ppm. Around 2ppm of that goes as a kickback to whoever owns the number, which I suspect will be Ticketmaster rather than ICT. Edit to add - at least 0844 numbers are a vast improvement on 0870 and 0871 numbers.
  9. I have absolutely no recollection of us loaning Golly to Livi, as mentioned in that article. Presumably he was totally out of contention at that point with Hastings the clear first choice.
  10. Katherine Jenkins doing the Canadian anthem? Fine pair of lungs.
  11. I believe Russell Duncan is currently taking legal advice.

Stunning, I could watch that one over and over again. But the real credit for that goal goes to Deportivo's Djalminha, from a 3-2 win at the Nou Camp about 10 years ago. And yes, I have way too much time on my hands.
  13. In Paraguay this week. "> " type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  14. Renee has some eccentric views but I'm fairly sure this one is sarcastic. Am I right in saying McGuire helped get Arbroath relegated this season, helped get ICT relegated last year and before that helped get Dunfermline relegated? He's just the man for a relegation fight!
  15. Great news, well done to all involved. But no room for "Terry" as a middle name? :D
  16. A pint of whatever he's having.
  17. Having recently watched the DVD of the famous match in which there were evidently so many good performances, I thought it would be interesting to see which player would come out top in the sort of poll that we use on the site these days. Poll is open to anyone who was at the match or has seen the DVD, and I've included shirt numbers for those who need a bit of assistance identifying or remembering the players! Also, has your perception of the players' performances changed at all since 2000, having now seen a rerun of the game?
  18. That's exactly how I recall it.
  19. Yngwie replied to ICTCM's topic in General Football
I must have seen the replay a hundred times and I still don't see it touch his hand. He simply outjumped Shilton and nodded it in. :) (But don't tell Terry I said that....)
  20. What's his background, Tullochs? Will he been responsible for the things that Mike Smith previously did?
  21. I started that chant :D So it was you! Were you being ironic, sarcastic or serious?
  22. First team to "buy" the first division title and still fail.
  23. Yngwie replied to tm4tj's topic in General Football
I'm sure after he graduated he had at least 1 season full time before getting a proper job and joining Forfar in 2002.
  24. Does anyone know if County will still want to borrow our stadium for their glamour ties next season against the likes of Man City Cowdenbeath?
  25. After reading this on Wiki, I want to sign him more than ever!
