  1. I take it the Hamilton fans were not chanting "Die Imrie Die" today?
  2. That is a p1sh result against a very poor side. Not scoring at home against a team who have little or no defence? Such a disappointment after last weekend's euphoria.
  3. Tokely on for McCann.
  4. He likes Cox. And from that formation, likes the idea of trying 2 at once - one at the back, and one for holding.
  5. Yes, all of the times. He must be one of the few players to get a yellow card during a penalty shoot out, after running to the Arbroath fans.
  6. I know I shouldn't be surprised by Celtic's latest humiliation, but losing 4-0 to Utrecht is incredible. And with one of the goals from a guy called Maguire who is eligible to play for Ireland.
  7. From the BBC website preview of Dundee Utd's match v AEK: Yes, even our stadium had better pace and movement than Utd.
  8. Yeah it was the 2003 Challenge Cup semi. 4-0 win I think.
  9. You're forgetting all the booing from the home fans!
  10. Clearly it depends who it is. Booing players usually makes them play better (Rossco v St Mirren being a case in point) so the best treatment for a returning villain is probably to ignore them. And laugh loudly at their mistakes.
  11. Griffiths had a last minute penalty to win the game and sent it wide. Dundee then missed 3 of their 4 penalties in the shoot out. And Griffiths then had to be pulled away from a ball boy he was having a heated row with. Good to see things going from bad to worse at Dens. There is a rumour that Calderwood will be replacing Chisolm soon.
  12. Another old boy Kevin Byers got one of the Brechin penalties.
  13. Sadly 2-2 now, with Brechin down to 10 ment since 57 minutes.
  14. It said Keys. But keys for what, and why was he keeping such a tight grip on the box? I reckon it was the keys to the basement where he keeps his daughter and the children they've had together.
  15. It was actually a copy of "How to win friends and influence people".
  16. Although they seem to do OK when it comes to Man U questions.
  17. I think it's OK to chuckle at that provided you are laughing at the ignorance of the un-PC vandal.
  18. Yes, but it helps enormously if we are playing well and winning. For example, I don't recall any aspect of the 4-0 drubbing at Falkirk being superb, on or off the pitch. On days like that everyone just sits quietly and thinks "why the **** did I bother coming to see this p1sh?" But I agree that the away days in recent times (ie under Butcher) have generally been excellent. May there be many more days like Sunday at Tannadice.
  19. Hamilton sign Hasselbaink But not the wonderfully named Jimmy Floyd. Instead its his nephew, Nigel! I hope he turns out to be as good as George Weah's cousin.
  20. For the uninitiated, left to right: Mantis, my Grandad, Naelifts, Wanderer. This pic captures them getting into the limo for a stag night.
  21. I'd rather see Esson playing for Scotland than Kenneth, as either keeper or defender. Esson is certainly much closer to international standard then Kenneth is, and he wouldn't be out of place as 3rd choice keeper in the international squad. If he maintains his form of the last 12 months then Levein will notice him.
  22. It was a superb strike. Actually, on the rare occassions when Russeldinho scores, it always seems to be a spectacular one. I can recall another great one v Utd, and a curler into the top corner at Brechin. He should shoot more often.
  23. I'd like to congratulate the OP for being the first Dons fan to come on here and not mention 1983. (Yet)
  24. No point complaining about them being unreasonably strict, the stewards and clubs will only ever quote the But do you think that those two stewards and :clown: will go into the crowd and enforce the no swearing rule when Celtic and Rangers visit Tannadice?
