On that Asil site there is a YouTube clip of Juanjo's career. The last 2 mins are from his ICT days, including some goals I'd forgotten about.
  2. Great result. Can we play all our games away from home please?
  3. History shows us that EVERY time we win the Challenge Cup we go on to win the league and get promoted to the SPL. So all we have to do is win 2 more Challenge Cup matches and the rest will follow automatically. Simples!
  4. I don't think he said that at all. He was pointing out the fine line between qualifying and not qualifying and used a missed chance as an example. The Daily Record then applied their spin and made it into a back page story.
  5. Didn't we beat Airdrie in 2003's final? Airdrie United are not Aidrionians. Airdrie United are Clydebank as far as records go. You are right, it was defunct Airdrie than won it 3 times, and new Airdrie Utd/Clydebank that we beat in the final, although they have won the trophy in their own right since then. But they are still Airdrie, same town, same ground, same songs, same strips, same unpleasant fans....
  6. For years, England have had great players, but now that they have got a great manager they do look the business. Going by form since Capello took over, they have perhaps become the best in Europe if not the world. Or am I believing the media hype? But Steve McLaren remains a legend!
  7. Didn't we beat Airdrie in 2003's final?
  8. Perth would make more sense It would, but the SFL only use SFL grounds. That's why we had to go to Airdrie for the Alloa v ICT final, when Perth would have made more sense. Next time we got to the final it was held in Perth, because St J were in Division 1 at that point.
  9. Who would you play instead?
  10. Looks like the final should be held in Dunfermline then.
  11. Decent draw, bring it on. Just relieved we avoided Dundee.
  12. In our 6 games against the "good" teams in the group, we failed to score in 5 of them.
  13. Tense stuff, even when you know the outcome. Barrowman hit the best penalty, followed by Rossco. Esson's 3rd save was rather good!
  14. Can't really fault the performances, the tactics or the effort tonight. The damage was done in earlier games.
  15. Our best player, Craig Gordon, is out. David Marshall steps in, but he just isn't international calibre. In fact doesn't he concede 4 goals every time he plays for Scotland?
  16. I think we'll restrict it to 0-2.
  17. Found something on a Gaelic site. I then used an online translator to confirm who else is in the draw with us and it said: Village of the Cabbages Slayers of Elgin, ha ha! City of Drugs, Whores and Teenage Mums
  18. Correct. Scotland are great at building up hope and then letting you down when it matters. Prepare to be very disappointed, anything else is a bonus.
  19. That's not remotely what they are guilty of. But it's a great form of punishment for a big club, far more hard hitting than any fine would be.
  20. Soccerbase has Charlie down as being our current manager. I think they are including all our games from January 2006 (when he took over), up until now, in his stats.
  21. That Souness one is shocking! This is my personal favourite, for comedy value.
  22. It's worse than that, we gave them away!
  23. Just what I was thinking. He's been hated by the fans at every club he's been at. We were so lucky when our bid for him was rejected a few years ago. ?50k wasn't it?!
  24. So Golabek's career has gone: County---->ICT----->County---->ICT I think I can predict where he'll be next season.
