The forum could continue, but would be heavily monitored by "the regime", who would plant their own spies and keep close tabs on anyone who doesn't toe the party line. No change there then! Ever wondered why various posters have just disappeared without trace? :P

In his utopian society you'd only be paid ?3k per annum, the same as everyone else, you greedy capitalist pig. You would queue for hours with them to buy bread and potatoes with it, before returning to your state owned flat which only has water and electricity at certain times of day. You would then sit down in front of your black and white television to watch a state controlled channel telling you how wonderful everything is, followed by a documentary celebrating the glorious revolution. Every night.

It's funny, I don't recall anything positive being said about the previous caterers when they were still around! That's possibly one reason why the club ditched them, along with the fact that they couldn't be arsed turning up when they had a more lucrative opportunity one match day. Hopefully Lindleys will listen to feedback and learn from their mistakes.

With capitalism we get rich and poor, boom and bust. With communism its much fairer. Everyone is poor, and the economy is always bust. The people end up wanting to flee the country to get a better life and the regime has to remove freedoms and become totalitarian and brutal to keep its people under control. Simple.

Just relieved the match wasn't abandoned. Always good to get a win, but I've already got that "meaningless end of season" feeling that accompanies mid-table mediocrity.

My thinking too. Without Esson this season we might be anxiously looking over our shoulder at Ayr/Airdrie/Morton.

Why do you think that? Because - they are good players who would rather not be languishing in the middle of Scotland's 2nd league - most are out of contract at the end of the season (I think) - other, better teams will want them - we won't be able to afford to keep them on. Our playing budget next season is going to be slashed, let's get used to it! We gambled this season on living well beyond our means to get back up, it hasn't worked.

Awful record against the decent teams, not acceptable. In the last few weeks Dundee have gone to County and Partick and won both times, whilst we went to the very same places and got nothing.

Ross has some skill but is a total lightweight and will never make a tackle in his entire career. Maybe that's something to do with it! OK I'm exaggerating a bit there, but you get the point.

For a midtable side to go away to one of the top teams and get a point has to be considered a decent result. and must be a good effort to hold on for that point with 9 men.
