  1. The whole teams form has dipped so it's a bit unfair to single out one player and attribute it to the fact he is the captain, yes it is easy to latch onto this fact but not a factor in my opinion. Yes Granty was a good captain but he wasn't an inspirational leader who pushed players on, Foran is and it's all too easy to mistake bullying and getting on players backs as opposed to encouraging and getting them going, he after all should know the players well enough to decide what works for each player and what doesn't. Every now and again they do need a kick up the arse. I am sure that when the whole team starts firing again he'll be on top form.
  2. I agree as well about getting rid of the 4-5-1 at home, I was an adversary of it but have to concede it hasn't worked up until now, not at home anyway and teams know how to play us now. Our wingers get dragged back far too much and Rooney's gets left isolated, when the ball is played long he can't get to it and when he does there is no one there to support him. I'd go for the following: Esson Duff Tokely Munro Shinnie Hayes Ross Duncan Foran Rooney Sanchez Having Sanchez up with Rooney would mean he could come deeper to link up the play and provide the service to Rooney along with adding that extra bit of attacking presence we desperately need, also means Foran wouldn't feel like he needed to do everything and he could concentrate on staying on the left hand side. The other option is the following: Esson Duff Tokely Munro Shinnie Ross Sanchez Duncan Hayes Rooney Foran Width and speed with Ross and Hayes on their natural sides, Duncan sitting in midfield picking up the ball starting the play and Sanchez linking, Rooney gets supply from the ever hard working Foran and lets him roam in front of the midfield and get involved like he wants to so much. Sadly I don't think we will play either way but nice to play manager for a bit haha. Most probably we'll see 4-2-3-1 again
  3. I am remaining upbeat and optimistically voted yes, it's amazing what a win can do for a team and I am hopefully that we can get back to the form we showed in first 12 or so games and even the games away to the OF. There's no getting away from the poor form over the last 9 games and should we not have had such a good start I'm sure we would all have been a little jittery just now but the fact is we have shown we can do it and I am sure we will, we just need to get back to passing football on the counter which worked so well and cut out long balls and panicky punts up the field. We shouldn't have to rely on one player but hopefully Hayes being back will be a big boost and bring the correct balance back to the team and hopefully we'll be able to open up teams again. Points are better than games in hand and lets remember all those games in hand others have are against each other pretty much so not a fore gone conclusion.
  4. Sorry can't make it but will be cheering on while watching on the radio
  5. I really hope whatever team he decides to go to if he goes that is, which I think we know he will, it works out for him. He is a cracking prospect and a natural goal scorer which in these times is very difficult to find but at this moment in time the way Hibs are I just think it would be the wrong move which is why I said I think it is a lack of ambition. If it were a few years ago maybe but Hibs are truly in a bad way just now and do not look like getting out if it any time soon. I can probably safely say that if he goes it's with all our best wishes and thanks for the contribution he has made to ICT especially his goals over the last two seasons
  6. Cheers L_G, I don't often watch it but Sky+ is now set
  7. I guess it depends on what set-up you prefer as you'll always be able to find arguments to back it up but equally others will find arguments to blast yours away. Such a radical change again won't work, has been proved before by changing the league sizes. Small gradual steps should be taken, earlier start to the season, winter break, more rules for young players etc and build from there. None of this has been mentioned, we are all and I include the clowns at the top hung up on the size of our leagues.
  8. I'm sure that we all expected him to speak to other clubs to see what his options are but in no way did I think that it would be Hibs, not that I want to be disrespectful but seriously I agree it shows a complete lack of ambition. Yes it might be for the wages but he is young enough that he will have other opportunities to further enhance his pay. Somewhere behind the scenes his agent must be pushing all the right buttons, there is only so much ICT can do as a club and maybe it is time we started directing our thoughts and efforts into finding a replacement. We have offered him a reported contract making him the highest paid player at the club so the money is there should we want to go elsewhere. I am not dissing Adam at all but how much more can we do without it being detrimental towards the club and the season, it is unhealthy to focus all efforts on one player.
  9. I will pitch in as well but do you think we should start boycotting away games if TB gets fined
  10. I wouldn't give him the chance to dodge any question which I could potential pose to him, the man doesn't have the common decency to answer one straight and maybe should go and sit in the House of Commons as his answers mirror that of a politician dodging the answers and getting over his own agenda as he knows he has an audience.
  11. That would certainly be entertaining
  12. You've got to applaud TB for his honesty and passion, I 100% agree with everything he said except the point about the split, it's awful and I would argue him on that point. It creates a ridiculous imbalance that no one likes. I've just came off the phone to my bro who is a Rangers fan and he applauds TB for everything that he said and agreed with the point he made about other teams not wanting ICT in the league due to the geography of Inverness, he did say that there were the odd few fans on the FollowFollow website that slated TB but they missed the point that he was aiming his displeasure at the SPL and not Rangers in relation to the rescheduled game last night, a point which he vigorously argued on their board in favour of TB. It's good to know that his interview has been received so well amongst all fans across the Scottish spectrum but just a shame that there are a few that can't see passed their own negative views. I have not long switched off the radio listening to open all mics and the debate they were having and I have to say that the Hamilton chairman (I forgot his name the minute he started slagging us off and won't give him the time to google him to find it out) but how far from the truth can you be. He completely missed the point that TB was making by using us as an example of what will happen if three teams go down and rather decided to have a pop at the club by intimating that by being further up the table we didn't now care about lower down teams and the further up the league you get the worse the people get, listen to the interview you idiot, please don't put us in this bracket and actually take in what was said. It would be interesting to see what your view point would be if you were sitting 5th in the league with 28 points just now rather than bottom with relegation staring you in the face!!!!
  13. I would give it a go, have you seen how long I play Footie Manager for
  14. Miller's valuation will never rise if he scores against us, in fact it might be said by some that he is expected to score against us and I in no way mean that to be derisory against us. Rooney on the other hand can only continue to enhance his reputation against Rangers, the bigger teams are the ones that players want to do well against for this very reason and show that at that higher level they can do it.
  15. It doesn't matter what we say as the fans, we will never be heard, no one truly cares what we think and this has been shown by the complete lack of respect being being shown towards us. Should the SPL and SFA care about what we think there is ample opportunity every week to find out the fans views as we pass through the turnstiles, how about the surveys they say they have conducted be aimed at actual fans turning up every week. If they truly cared, this amongst many other things would have been taken into account. It all comes down to money at the end of the day, like it or not football is treated as a business now, yes it has always been a business but not to the extent it is now. Can we blame the OF for wanting more money and wanting to drive forward, no not really, money makes you greedy, makes you want more, it's not their fault that the tv companies want them on their screens more and more especially against each other and no one can say that these tv companies aren't driving this forward either. Part of me thinks that the clubs who are voting for this are doing it on the back of their absolutely disgraceful decision to go with the last Setanta deal as opposed to the then slightly lesser deal offered by Sky, therefore making it look like now they are doing the best for the game and back the OF and Aberdeen unlike before with the tv deal, almost like they don't want to rock the boat again. The only hope is that the SFA kick this into touch, which going by their track record won't happen, they'll roll over and be trodden upon. Can we rely on the three/four clubs who are opposed to the idea digging their heals in and stopping it from happening, I don't think so. Yes one or two might but that won't be enough. A top flight of ten and second flight of twelve is no different from what we have now except flipped around, funny that considering it doesn't take much to 'restructure' this therefore not causing much of a problem for restructuring the lower leagues who again are being left in the cold. Ten never worked before and will never work again, play-offs won't work either unless their are completely no stipulations with who can move up or down as there were with previous play-offs we've had. I for one can only see our game plunging into deep depths of despair
  16. Football all day on Sky, we love it

  17. I too would have voted for Ryan Esson if you had of included him. It would be interesting to see how many of Rooney's goals were scored having had the supply by Hayes, I would reckon a fair few and I'm sure someone on here will know. I voted for Hayes for this reason, a good striker will always be in the right position at the right time and more often than not it is down to the supply he gets from his team mates. I would much rather know that I had that threat down the wing or cutting in through the middle supplying the balls for the goals as a good striker will be there. Yes Rooney scores the goals but he isn't the finished article, far from it, in an ideal world we'd be able to keep Rooney and see him progress and get better but for me if one were to go I would rather it were Rooney.
  18. There's nothing cunning about what he does and there never has been either. I would tend to go with the fact that he is a natural pr1ck!!! Look at the way he conducted himself on the pitch as well when he was playing, he was the same. There is a fine line like I said before between passion and anger n rage and he is just an angry little man with a massive chip on his shoulder. maybe the only thing he's cunning about is in dupping the celtic fans into believing his crap therefore over-shaddowing just how bad a manager he is, they've all bought into it hook, line and sinker.
  19. We've now got to the situation that no matter what happens they'll always be in the spotlight and the media will revel in it. If the SFA clamp down on his antics they'll moan and berate the decision just like they are doing now and his board will back him to the hilt even though he is in the wrong, if the SFA do what they usually do which is Sweet FA he'll keep acting that way. The only way for it to stop is for the SFA to keep punishing him and start punishing Celtic as well, they employ him so he represents them, he's had his warning and 6 match ban so anymore and the club should be hammered too. It's about time Reid realised that there are other clubs in Scotland and not just Celtic and start acting like one of the so called big two. Lennon's antics are a shambles and only highlight what type of a man he is, that is not passion that he shows, it's anger and rage and not the sort of example that should be set to kids watching the game. His actions can only be liked to that of a rottweiler foaming at the mouth and it's out of order, no place for it in our game. If TB was acting like that I would be embarrassed for him.
  20. I have a William Hill online account and find that better than Ladbrokes especially for football prices, I used to work in Ladbrokes and find them to have the worst prices of the three big bookies. Have a wee look and see what you thin, it's very easy to navigate and transfer money and winnings etc. I am sure WH offer this type of bet, I might have put it on before with no luck lol
  21. He's 100% correct with everything that he said and has very reason to feel annoyed by the whole thing, pretty poor to make us travel down that way twice in 4 days, just another example of the SPL not giving a toss about the fans. Good to see TB mentioning the fans so in his interview, he was clearly annoyed but great interview. TB = Legend
  22. Delighted with the draw, no game is ever easy but was great to miss the OF and other SPL teams although I don't fear any of the other ones that are left. I'm not wanting to think further ahead than R5 but it's difficult not to what with Killie and Hearts out and one of the OF to go, I am also sure that one or two SPL clubs will fall during their R4 replays.
  23. If I could have given myself a red dot I would have, got them all the wrong way round
  24. Just signed it ...................... NNNNNOOOOOO!!!!
  25. The show was a disgrace from start to finish. It was on for 80 minutes and featured 7 games, why then did we only see 3/4 of the games for about 2 mins each and have to endure the drivel of Pat Nevin and his 'expertise', do I care about a chance that Dundee Utd put wide and have to watch it four times during the highlights then another three during his rambling, no not really. BBC take a look at yourself, how can a company that produces MOTD so well, yes your English counterpart, produce such drivel, start taking a look at yourself. Each game could easily have been on for ten minutes each no matter who it was that was playing and the quality, each team have their fan base that want to see their team as much as others do so treat them fairly and equally. I also blame those that run our game, they give out the contracts to tv companies so are in the position to dictate what coverage is shown and for how long it is broadcast, take a look at it and sort it.
