  1. Anyone else have a feeling this has all the potential to be properly f#cked up in terms of organisation by team ICT?
  2. Thats a good move for him. Didnt realise his injury kept him out for so long, good luck to him with that and well done to St Johnstone for taking him on despite of it. Again, the very best of luck to him, I'm sure all of us can recognise his long term contribution to getting us promoted.
  3. It'd be nice to assume everybody who supported ICT through the years would get a chance at seeing this one, but it wont happen, some will end up missing out. I just need to make sure I'm not one of them when the time comes! I dont really favor any English sides apart from Brighton where I once stayed, but I really cant stand Liverpool for some reason, so I hope its not them. Its a totally irrational hatred like my hatred of the old firm, I do my best to avoid our games until close to kick off.. whereas I 'hate' Ross County but would love to see us play them.. I really really seriously hope its not Liverpool but I'm affraid I could be wrong :008:
  4. Has to be either the proper Ronaldo when rated 1 v 1 against anyone for me, best player ever, he absolutley dominated world football for the 6-7 years where the game was its strongest ever for forwards. The era Best played in was totally different athletically but the defenders at the time were throwing in leg breaking challenges every week, to cope with that and still stand out as a genius makes him different class.
  5. Suppose thats fair Scotty, we've never seen Black or Nicolae play at 2nd division level either :)
  6. Ian Black and David Bingham. If Ian Black played at Christie or Stewertys level he'd have played them off the park, or very likely kicked them off it :)
  7. Absolutely no question whatsoever hes the best to have played in Scotland for the value of ?400,000.
  8. "oh f*ckin sheep is wonderful", oh FLUFFY sheep are wonderful ... Otherwise, I think the guys at the back of the stand did overstep the mark once the Police had first gotten involved with them, but the initial contact between ICT fans and police was regarding standing up only.
  9. Free Ale? bloody ****, whre do I sign up? Is your email working Bob, I've tried a couple of times but theyve always bounced back.
  10. I agree with IHE, the game today was crying out for Ian Black to get in the middle of the park. I actually think we were very comfortable today, rarely looked liked conceding, though we never looked like scoring either, the 1-0 win came from a defensive mix up that started with Duncan. Today I made Duncan the biggest villan, as I've said before he is an absolute waste of a shirt, a total waste of time, we've been waiting for year for him to come good. Let me say this now folks, this is the sad honest truth, RUSSEL DUNCAN IS THE WORST PLAYER IN THE CURRENT STARTING ELEVEN. Brewster and the Lothian and Borders Police can GTF. Threw a very young Caley fan out today (yet ignored the 40+ adults who questioned them) and cornered a couple of young fans outside the ground to 'explain' the standing up rules to them. Shocking behavior, away from the football itd be classed as police harassment and bullying, there would be a court case and the Officers involved conduct would be put infront of a judge..... but alas it was at a football game and it will either be ignored or the young fan will face some kind of ban. Football really has to join the real world, where civil liberties are still respected!
  11. ITs been this way for 3 months now. Very well done Reefin Weed All Day.. If my real betslips were anything to go by I wouldve EASILY finished in profit, especially with my 2/1+ shots coming in elsewhere on the net but I wouldve never have reached your total. Very well done on those draw chance you took in December, set the whole show up to be an easy run in. :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03:
  12. I'd rather he stayed, as him leaving would give us too difficult a choice on where we go next (in terms of targets and ambition) after what has become a total farce. If he leaves, itll be spun as purely a case of economics, letting the current board/ict staff off the hook with regards to how they conducted themselves in the public eye and how the club is run.
  13. Listening again its clear hes trying to say that Marius's salary will hinder our ability to bring in new players. I hate this. As I was saying last night, by now the club should be in a position to actually afford to cover his salary themselves. Since we've been promoted to the SPL we've not made a jot of progress off the park in our attendances or ability to raise money, we've been in the SPL longer than Falkirk and St Mirren, both of them have improved each year since promotion without smashing any budgets and will continue to reap rewards with improvements to their new grounds. Both will have higher average attendances than us next year and thus can raise more money, in the not too distant future (should they survive the SPL) I'd say both would be on track to pay their top players 2-3-4k a week comfortably. Should they not survive the SPL then the infrastructure theyve put in place will serve them well for the next couple of decades if they come back up or not. I work with Jambo, Hibee and Celtic season ticket holders, all theyve been talking about this week is their renewal options for next years season tickets. Each club has half a dozen payment plans, bands of games available to purchase and other incentives/top ups tied to new merchandise deals and club travel to away games available to choose from in a clear and professional manner. Theyve been able to go online or call their clubs anytime to go through the process of renewal for ages now. If I goto the ticket section of the official ICT homepage I see this - Half-season tickets are now on sale and are valid from the 29th December (ICT v Kilmarnock) but buy now and you will be entitled to purchase up to 6 tickets for ICT v Celtic on Sunday 16th December too. 14. I really dont think the club is in such a bad position regarding Marius's wages, we couldnt be surely, its a terrible statement from Sutherland as it makes us sound much weaker than we really are.
  15. I think its unreasonable to ask shareholders to raise those sums of money, though as a one off it may well be a necessity if Nicolae doesnt move on and the club are to continue to improve the squad. In that interview he talks about sustainability, thats fine but at what level does he want to sustain the club at? Rather than cutting off the wage bill and accepting long term mediocrity, the club itself should be looking at ways of improving our income through means other than handouts, in every department.. be it as basic as improving customer relations to asking the right amount of money for players or investing in large capital projects such as gyms/supporters bars, increasing the stadium capacity or even looking at selling the lease for the stadium itself and moving to a more suitable location. We all have to be grateful to David Sutherland as these kind of things are really outwith his remit as a shareholder, but in the grander scheme of things, the club being put at risk by one players wages is unacceptable. Not because we're paying them too Nmuch (it'd be different if he was on ?20,000 a week and costing us a million quid a year) but because the club doesnt have the capability to raise these sums of money every year on its own, or isnt appealing enough to the Highland community to sell enough season tickets to cover costs.
  16. Sorry that should be ?260,000 for his final year, I presume hes already been paid for this season!
  17. If it is as much as ?5k a week then it equates to ?260,000. Not ?500,000. Is Sutherland saying that even if Nicolae wasnt in our squad, that we would need to raise quarter of a million pound?
  18. 500-600 thousand pound required? Where the **** has that come from?
  19. Clach would love to have attendances of 400 a game. Divide that by 3!
  20. Wasnt it reported earlier in the season when inter-toto farse time came round that we were off to Italy again?
  21. CC had 7 months to replace Dods!
  22. I'd rather not see Hart, Wyness or Wilson until the final day of the season for their last games.
  23. You gusy do realise that Romania have to play Italy, France and the Netherlands azt the Euros, any chance he does get could make some headlines. Or he could be put in his SPL place for good :017:
  24. :015:
  25. I doubt any of the Chester first team would have a sniff at anything other than SPL reserve football.
