  1. Anyone read the Sun today? Only 5/10 for Roman.. he was lucky apparantly. Esson performed heroics to keep the clean sheet. The reporter clearly wasn't at the same game as me!
  2. Aye, I heard they do this every game - Butcher introduced it. He calls it something cheesy like the Circle of trust lol or something along those lines.
  3. Great win. My head is sore today after the celebrations lol So much positives from this game. Gillet was my MOTM. Superb display. Roman as well, put in a great shift.
  4. Anyone planning going to Jack Daniels before the Social Club, or just straight to the social club?
  5. HT: 1-0 FT: 1-1 1st ICT: Tansey 1st OPP: Humphrey ATT: 4055
  6. I do like the story about Dougie Imrie being refused entry to G's because he was too drunk..... Dougie: Do you know who I am? Bouncer: Aye, your Dougie Imrie, now f*ck off!
  7. In my interview for the Motherwell match day programme 'view from Inverness' page they asked what do I hope for ICT in 2012. My first sentence was simply 'A penalty'.
  8. We stopped getting penalties in the league when Butcher spoke out against de-construction of the league.
  9. Nah Butchers a Tory.... I will probably vote yes in the referendum. I just worry that the Highlands will get a raw deal in an independant Scotland so I would like to here more assurances. It does make my blood boil the way the unionist parties are going about their business right now. Some of the Scottish newspapers and media annoy me. The media will dictate the outcome. For example, the Scotsman constantly refers to 'breaking up Britain' rather than independance. Then there's the tabloids - the Sun is a Tory paper and the Record a Labour paper. Constantly on the attack of 'breaking up Britain'. The lies that were spewed out by Tory MPs about the alternative vote will be the same again and the SNP will have a fight on their hands.
  10. Doesn't count... the referee wasn't from the central belt.
  11. We don't have much of a vocal support at home games anyway. I understand Bobs question but I think we will have enough for the cup game to just about fill - if not fill the North Stand anyway. However, if the gate shows 2,000 empty seats in the home end, then they probably could be all fitted into the main stand. Would not want to see it myself but it would generate more income. Maybe it would generate more atmosphere in the main stand as well! With finances fecked at the moment in football and the economy in general, we all have to make sacrifices. If things get worse for the club and other clubs, then there will be no stands to fill at all - there won't even be any Scottish football. Money is now the number 1 priority for Scottish clubs - it really is all about survival. However, as i said there, I think we will have a decent enough crowd that we wouldn't need to do this.... if we get past the Pars.
  12. Since this seems to have replaced the 'roll call' threads, who's going then? I'll be there with a few of the regular Glasgow crew. Central Station to Fir Park Social Club for 2 or 3 hours before the game.
  13. An even bigger incentive to beat the Pars. Forcing Celtic to go 'all the way up there'. They already have to do it twice a season and it's just not fair on them. Why should they have to travel all the way up there when they've just had to go to Peterhead?
  14. All the more reason to join in 10p Bowling!
  15. I'll be heading to the Hampden walk. Will be another training day in the lead up to the Highland March!
  16. FFS. I've just organised myself for a half day next Tuesday for the game. Glad to get the Sky monies though!
  17. Every time Laurence posts now, I will picture Martin Clunes!
  18. I meant specifically North Lanarkshire towns. South Lanarkshire has some wonders of the world. Now your going to tell me your from Cumbernauld!
  19. haha, I think it should be changed to Jock!
  20. I'm sure Davie has tuned in to the Sunday viewing as well with anticipation at viewing GJ and AM again! Get yer paper hankies out!
  21. When did we beat Celtic in 1999? Wonderful journalism!
  22. Their social club has to be one of the best in the country, especially for it's aesthetics - unlike most Lanarkshire towns themselves! Hopefully we can bring a good crowd for this one. This will be a tricky one.
  23. For a change? Aye, hopefully we sneak it 6-3 again if we go to Killie.
  24. Queen of the South away is a good day out. I'd be happy with that..... But we need to get past the Pars first!
  25. Worse stadiums? Parkhead. I've never had to wear a builders helmet at Caley Park and i've never had a big post obstructing my view.
