Next two targets
With the state of St's pitch, and the ice rink of a car park, i't won't surprise me if that game isn't played on the 2nd. They seem to have a lot of home games called off. Still.... can't wait for it! 2011 with Terry and Mo!

Hearts -V- Inverness CT : Matchday Thread
Great day out as usual, but I agree, lucky to hold on but not complaining! Very happy with a draw! One sour note... I won't be back to Diggers again! I don't think we're welcome any more!!!

Fixture Change v St Johnstone

Top 20 Goals since leaving Highland League
I remember Brian Thomson scoring from the half way line against Cowdenbeath at Telford Street in 95/96 towards the away end. The keeper got subbed after that! Iain Stewarts chip after Barry Wilsons long run in 1996 against County to make it 3-0 Barry Robson (i think) stoppage time goal against Killie about 9 years ago in cup (just before they went up an scored in the other end) The Rankin goal against Rangers Hayes goal the other day

Who is your favourite current ICTFC player
Duff. He is so consistent and especially in defense

Hearts Roll Call
I'll be taking the 5 minute walk from my flat to Diggers before the game.

Brewster Quits County
Actually Fitness coach at worst! I think one of his weaknesses as a manager / coach is his fitness coaching. What i mean by this is, he always had the players tired for match day and from what I gather, he over trained them.. That's the mark of a bad fitness coach! Although he did a terrible job in his 2nd stint with us, I do hope he finds something. It wouldn't surprise me if he ended up a manager of one of the well off HL teams within the next year.... or even Aberdeen!

Edinburgh Capitals offer to SPL Football Fans
I really couldn't care less. Why do these American type sports always have teams which have a double barrelled name? The first tends to be the place they come from and the second is usually some kind of silly vaguely "aggressive" sounding word like Tigers, Blitz, Pirates etc etc. That actually makes "Capitals" sound relatively sensible, if somewhat cheesy. Roll on the "world series"... which usually just involves the Yanks. You haven't seen cheesy untill you've seen this video... this will make your blood boil Charlie! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utsHE5xWges

Edinburgh Capitals offer to SPL Football Fans
Nah it's not American footy. it's ice hockey.. and despite my name, i have no interest in this team / sport!

Think i'll give this a miss. Nearly as bad as rugby!

Matchday Thread : Celtic -V- ICT
Celtic are spiralling downhill fast. Two home draws and defeat to Hearts and Rangers recently... maybe we should be aiming for 2nd? However what annoys me is when reading the papers, it's all about how Celtic 'threw away points' and 'late lapses in concentration'. They should have never been winning in the first place. We played well and could have won the game.

Fantastic! Brilliant!
One more win / draw and the next milestone achieved will be unbeaten away 2010! What's with the fixtures in December btw!? All these home games! Great to look down the table and see us 15 points ahead of the Dons and Accies and look up the table and see not many teams above us! Let's push for third!

Best away day this season so far. Thought the stewarding was dreadfull in the first half, but the coppers asked the stewards to back off apparantly, and in the second half they were (a bit) better. The post match celebrations in the London Tavern were great, and when the singer with his guitar sang Caledonia, we took over the pub! Happy Birthday Caley Away with Terry and Mo. Let;'s make it a win at Tynecastle to make it unbeaten away in 2010!

Duncan Shearer Waterstones
I didn't bother going in the end. Does anyone know what kind of turnout? Was there many there or was it just Dougal?

Adams in witchcraft shock...
This latest interview really takes the pi55. The guys deluded. He'll get found out in the SPL... won't be long for his first falling out with Calderwood to hit the press!

NORTHERN IRELAND v MOROCCO
Esson is quite rightly our number 1, but Tuffey could be great in the future. It would be a shame if he were to leave because he's not gettuing a game. Maybe we should send him on loan to a club struggling in the keeper department untill end of season so he gets first team action. Maybe with a clause that if Esson gets injured, he has to return within the week.

Duncan Shearer Waterstones
I'm not his biggest fan especially of the way he left the club but since i'm in Inverness right now, I shall get the book signed, just for the collection.

Adams in witchcraft shock...
That is f**kin hilarious!! Quote of the week. Your quote about Adams in the text message you sent me last night was even better!

Adams in witchcraft shock...
Adams is all talk. Apart from the very good cup run, he's done nothing. He took over County when they were already top of div 2, and the only full time team in that division, and may have got them relegated the following season if Brewster hadn't signed and scored a few goals towards the end. This season, they've been awful and he's brought them to the brink of relegation again. As well as that, he's a nutter. If he's not punching his own players, he's falling out with coaches, and even sacked Ross Jack. Why he's rated, i don't know! He thinks he can give Calderwood an insight into the SPL?! He hasn't been there in a few years. The only thing he is good at is, trying to play the psychological game by using the press, other than that, he's pish!

Danni Sanchez
I wouldn't be surprised if he's given a run out on Saturday, maybe instead of Foran (not sure how bad the stomach is).
-
Away Support / Atmosphere
With that impressive singing section at septic park, we're going to have to be extra loud. They drowned us out at the league cup game. so we need all the voices we can get!
-
Why oh why
Maybe Butchers half time rollocking should take place pre-match as well!

Matchday Thread: Hamilton -V- ICT
Attendance was 2,019. I'd say we had about 150. Was it just me or does anyone else feel there was significantly less than 2000? I said during the game maybe 1,500 at the very most. I presume they counted season tickets that weren't used on the day? Terrible stadium / atmosphere. It reminds me of a bigger version of Huntlys ground actually. I didn't enjoy the first half but when we attacked them in the second half, I thought we could have scored more!
-
New Signings in January
Why would we want to unsettle them even more? Their not even in the same league. I couldn't care less about these players and whether or not they went to Hibs. Sign up our own players first.

Hamilton roll call (merged)
I'll be at the Arroll at Central Station at 11 for some beer, then train through to Hamilton and the pub there
