Ah Scarlet you too have been researching the leisure pursuits of Hamburg. Fascinating for young men on National service I would say! especially in the late fifties. I never came across Jever, yet being based in Schleswig in the North East ( wonderful friendly place ) We played football all over the North, Kiel, Rendsburg, Flensburg, Neuenkirchen Lubek and Bremen amongst many others. Perhaps you were lucky enough to get to Sylt? Jever where is that ? If it has it's own beer then I have missed out ! My turn for the mince and tatties now. cheers

Well done to the Highland Marchers you are the real winners of the day.

I'm not going to read all the posts as I should imagine it is more depressing and negative comments from the dark glasses brigade. Suffice it for me to say that the script was not written in our favour. The season is over, we attained our main aims Highest SPL finish and above RC. I can understand Terry's comments: As a club we are not yet really ready for Europe. We are still learning the ropes but it was a magnificent run that got us where we are and I really enjoyed that. Perhaps next season we will take another step up the ladder, it is unfortunate losing so many outstanding players 'cause had they stayed, imo, we would achieve what has been unreachable this season. Faith in the M. Team though I look forward to the new faces and the variations in tactics that they will bring to our side Sad now it is close season but await the new season with fresh anticipation. Come on ICT

Very interesting but do the afore mentioned qualify for royalties and when will it be released? Toneing up my voice as I type. Come to think of it When it tops the charts we can all go to Europe and sing ICT into the final.
