  1. http://www.followfollow.com/news/tmnw/season_ticketholders_poll_result__75_prefer_division_3_option_748640/index.shtml Doncaster listen to all the fans at all the clubs in Scotland, you cant be football fan, btw, your on the verge of being sacked.
  2. Are you hearing rumours too that if Rangers end up in the 1st division then their fans are walking away from the club, their fans want to follow their team with honour and pride, they want to rebuild from division 3 and hold their heads high in doing so and not sneak into div 1 by the back door due to bullying and threats
  3. Revenue loss for who exactly? Fans of Scottish football have stood up and voiced their opinion for doing the right thing and the one at the top of the SPL tree is still more interested in spread sheets than sporting integrity. Forget your CV Doncaster and how much the SPL had made since your arrival (if any) In business staff retire, leave, get sacked, life goes on, some companies fold but in this case all of the business customers (fans) have pledged to continue contributing money to the new co. Rangers are actually in a fantastic position, no more high earners, still have a high turnover from loyal fans who will support their team through thick and thin and playing against 3rd div pt time opposition and all with local home grown tallent (which is every fans dream) now if they cant pay their players a wage thats on par with div 1 players then theyre feckin idiots. They will still have global merchandise sales plus a huge fanbase by the time they reach the SPL they should have a good bit of cash in the bank for the first time ever.
  4. Heres a bit more info on Draper. http://www.draper.co.uk/
  5. Dundee would probably bring more to the SPL but going by previous examples the Dee's have less right to be promoted than the Pars have to be relegated.
  6. Rosco smiles and thinks ' Im going to Relegate County and theyre paying me to do it, ha ha ha.'
  7. where theres muck theres County ? bald as brass?
  8. Hows this progressing.
  9. Togetherness, unity, thanks for doing what is morally right even though its made you financially poorer. Didnt last long did it. The club has taken a hit to do what is morally right and are searching far and wide for players, maybe if we get into Europe or get a good cup run we can throw more money at players and attract more local lads like Rooney and Hayes. I was at the Olympic concert at the NMP, had a look around and thought to myself Inverness is a pretty good place, with good people and felt proud of Inverness. If any player wants to come here and play their best for the SPL club that represents Inverness, the people of Inverness, Invernessshire and their fans far and wide then theyre ok in my book. The club has recently spoken out on our behalf and I for one would rather use it as an opportunity to rekindle the faith in, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, shortened to ICT these days but in its unedited version reads out three pretty important and words. Its the fans that make a club a great club so the rest my friend, is up to you.
  10. SPL 1999/2000 Aberdeen finished last in the SPL, league expands from 10 to 12, St Mirren and the Pars get promoted, Aberdeen did not automatically get relegated and the 3rd placed team in div 1 not get promoted. 2002/2003 Motherwell finished last, Div 1 winners Falkirks' ground did not meet the SPL entry requirements, Motherwell did not get automatically relegated and because Falkirk did not get promoted the slot was not made available to the next available club in the league. 2007/2008 Gretna finish last but also go into liquidation, although Gretna finished last, there was no automatic relegation, which would have been Kilmarnock. If Gretna had gone into liquidation in 11th place, I believe there would not have been a SPL relegation that season either. SFL 2008/2009 Div 1, 10th place Clyde get relegated, 9th place Airdrie Utd enter relegation playoffs and lose. Div 2 1st place Raith Rovers get promoted and 2nd place Ayr get promoted due to winning the play offs, at the same time Livingston get demoted from the 1st Division to div 3 and Airdrie remain in div 1. Unless the SPL have amended their rule book stating that there must be a relegation each season even if an SPL club goes bust and that would be foolish as if a few clubs went into receivership in 1 season then the plight of the SPL would be exacerbated with automatic relegation and playoffs. In a court of law I would put my money on Dunfermline staying in the SPL but this dispute should be resolved as soon as possible to allow the successfull club to prepare for the SPL.
  11. I would say its a debate for the SFL leagues to object. Our clubs have already nailed the colours to the mast regarding SPL matters. I would vote opposing the new co entering div 1 but not to walk away from ICT.
  12. Lets all laugh at Killy they now have to visit Dingwall.
  13. Any chance of completing the join the supporters trust online. I would make a contribution towards a block of shares if it could be organized, could it be a donation or would the shares be purchased and held on the supporters behalf, now is a good time to get this set up very quickly in time for the vote next week. Im assuming its still a pound a share. I think whats important though is fans helping out any way they can and if someone wants to buy a shirt, 50/50 etc then it all goes towards ICT, Im not disputing the profitability aspect, its just that I'm assuming fans may want to do their bit in different ways.
  14. Looking back to the past, league winning Falkirk decided to stay in the 1st div so no relegations from the SPL and a big club who 'isnt famous any more' finished bottom when the league changed from 10 to 12, no SPL relegations in either occasion so I would say the Pars have a stronger case to stay up.
  15. More good news.
  16. Well done Mr C for doing the right thing. Im starting to get a good feeling for the togetherness and unity of the fans and club for the coming season. Just Giving takes their cut for the admin and money transfers and is usually covered by the gift aid on your donation but ICT isnt a charity. Theres loads of ways to give money directly, to ICT. Buy a Season ticket The supporters trust http://www.ictsupporterstrust.co.uk/ Buy some shares, A 'The fans and board unite 25/06/12' brick in the wall, 50/50 raffle. Centenary club Club shop ICT bar Im sure Caley D can suggest many more. What ever you do Im sure its appreciated by the club to help them through these difficult times.
  17. Is it possible that a signage company could do football shirts, or possibly produce the lettering locally for ICT to do it.
  18. Google maps, stadium post code to post code and back, club 12 has been excluded as we dont know where it is based. Visiting 10 stadiums and back we will cover approx 2794 miles. In comparison hard done by Kilmarnock will have to endure an agonizing 1926 miles, to the same grounds. Killy will have the luxury of using motorways for the majority of journeys, and will have to endure single carriageways for 374 miles, compared to our 1644 miles (rough approximation) Poor Killy I didnt realize they had it so bad.
  19. Is Ronaldo a nickname for something else
  20. well said but I think the distances are further than suggested.
  21. Hes probably getting distraught about the rumors Ive been spreading. When people ask my where the Ross County ground is? I tell them its about a 2 hour drive north of Inverness
  22. Ha Ha, the Highlanders are already grinding down the opposition a month before ko. Bring it on.
  23. I wonder how many abstainers there are now, who are adamant they wont return to ICT/ SPL if ICT vote YES. Does this mean that if people power wins and they are no longer in the SPL, will the abstainers rush out and buy season tickets.
  24. The Rangers Do you think they could have come up with a better name, I was thinking of a name thats current and could pay tribute to the late Robin Gibb, what about the Wee Gees?
  25. Thats bizarre, a business that no longer exists has the right to cast a vote on the welfare of a club that it sold its assets to, Rangers has been wound up and like all the money it owed no longer exists.
