Can anyone give me a good definition of a 'winning the league without the old firm' bet. Is this coming third in the league or will all points scored against the OF be excluded which may change positions. If E/W is added will this in its simplest form mean a payout for coming 4th in the league? ICT win the league 2500/1 ICT win without the OF 200/1 As above but the best payout with E/W option, 125/1 & 1/3 of payout for E/W (1ST OR 2ND) Top six 9/2 I was thinking of a wee bet, just a few quid, going by the odds a lot of bookies have written ICT off, St Mirren gets 40/1 for a win without the OF Was pondering over this after seeing ICT play Motherwell and didnt manage to get any bets on before the Killy game. Im not expecting a payout but the odds are very good at the minute for a small bet which can be forgotten about. A ?1 e/w bet(?2) would pay back ?168.67 for 3rd and ?42.67 for 4th in the league. Thats if I have got it right. For me its not about making money off the back of ICT or pressuring them to make me some cash but I would like to stick 2 fingers up at the bookies for not taking us seriously.

The Norths version on Isa from Still Game Only kidding.

When I saw the header Can someone help me please. I thought it was a plea from Lennon regarding how to beat their Bogey team.

Qormi ?? Is that a football team for vegetarians??

Why cant we convert the away dressing room into a shop and get the away team to sit in the porta cabin at half time.
-
I cant tell you if hes on the bench at the minute, the whole place is in darkness.

Watched ALBA as live, well the first half anyway then went out in Edinburgh got back in time to watch the second half. Great game to watch and enjoyed every single goal (our ones) Its amazing to see what a team with a we've got something to prove mentality can do.

Anyone fancy taking up the challenge. http://ictfc.com/news/35-community-news/253-beards-for-bairns Maybe extra money could be raised too by keeping clean shaven for a month, applies to men and women.

I think your all barking up the wrong tree with last man and a goal scoring opperchancity. It was a 50 50 challenge, all Hogg had to do was slow him down till Tokes got within range, from viewing the BBC footage he seemed to go to ground very easily and also changed trajectory. If a foul was committed the player will go down in the same line of travel, especially if running at speed. My interpretation of the video is that Hogg was trying to force him off the ball, the player had to counteract this force by leaning in too,he had the better of Hogg and fell infront of him as soon as he got past due to leaning sideways,or went down intentionally, which accounts for the change in direction. Didnt even warrant a yellow never mind a red Can anyone actually see any contact. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/15513344.stm Can someone remind me if the Motherwell fans were up in arms after the clash and if they made the same amount of noise as the North stand did when the ref awarded a goal kick to Well when it was obvious to our fans that it was an ICT corner. I would say there is a greater claim for a foul on Sutherland at 3:15 into the video.

Well it certainly wasnt a bottom of the league performance and seeing as the most you can achieve is 3 points a week then its going to take a while to get to a position which reflects the level of play on show.

Yes I wont be looking at league tables for a while, whether its recent form or all matches tables. The table isnt really telling the truth at the minute. I would say its far more important to physically and mentally prepare for each match than be stressed about numbers on a table. The team is now moving in the right direction, the fluidity is returning, the effort and commitment is there, its just going to take a while for a chart with numbers on it to start telling the truth but the preparation and application is far more important for now

County wouldnt take that long in getting ready for the SPL,I would assume we would ground share short term, as to who gets the cash though is the big mystery

First thoughts were that the season ticket holders were propping up the attendance figures What a start we were all over Well, crisp passing, intelligent thinking, playing with passion and determination, the best well could do was to put the ball out of play,Well were kept quiet and wernt allowed to play, We had a lot of chances and I mean a lot. At 2-1 up I assume the team thought they had it in the bag and had done enough to win the game but fair play to Motherwell they took their goals well and we were beaten by a team who didnt put as much into the game as us, didnt create as many chances as us but have a good eye for goal when given the chance (except higdons sitter in front of goal) We did enough to win today against a team higher up the league than Celtic but they stole it at the end. I have far more faith in our future now with the team that was picked, combined with the application and desire on display. I would rather be 6 points behind the pack and be supporting that team at this stage of the season than be 1 point behind the rest but be awful. I hope Meekings isnt injured he has been a real find. Foran playing in a far better position out wide left. Tade, all I will say is if I had the choice of Higdon or Tade, I would actually pick Tade without a doubt, as he brings far more to the table. The futures looking brighter guys and I certainly felt that I got my moneys worth for going to the game. PS the Killy match is on Alba

I used to get into the main stand through the turnstile at half time ok with my st book, I was going to be late for a Rangers game once, I phoned up to enquire and a member of staff said if I couldnt get in through the turnstiles to go in through the main entrance. They seemed more helpful towards st holders. Just give them a phone for piece of mind. The second half is usually better anyway with the team shooting towards the home and the fans make more noise as the game goes on. I would also mention on the course that your going to the match afterwards, most courses are drawn out so you might get away sharper.

A good manager makes things look easy, he can see what peoples strengths are, he makes the most of those strengths and improve their weaknesses, he will know what to add to create a good blend and will continually change tactics to confuse and outwit the opposition. If he cant do those things then I would hope he puts more hours into the job, starting with personally watching his players in a bounce game against ST Johnstone. I do genuinely hope things come good for him though and he gets the success that warrants an extended contract. I'm sure he must spend hours with hypothetical players on boards so it would be good to get a few wins as payback for all those hours spent plotting the win.

Well perhaps Proctor has saved the season by losing the battle to bring about wining the war, would it have been the same 11 against M'well if we had scraped a win on Saturday, I think so. Also commented on personally watching a bounce game.?? its a full time job. I would say when losing stay off the drink and spend more time plotting how to win a game.

I am seeing some worrying similarities between this season and the season we were relegated. In both instances we lack success in front of goal and we are persisting with young inexperienced players (in 2008-2009 we were playing the likes of Duff, Wood and Vigurs). You forgot to mention Barrowman the invisible.

Train the brain, improve memory, alertness and reaction. Swat up on football when resting and think about it when training. Plan the win, instead of hoping for the win, learn some effective football katas, a 5 second free kick who goes where at speed and why, who bluffs. Influence the movement of the opposition, make them vulnerable, the goal is the - goal. Its good to win with effort even better with knowledge.

Thank goodness the overall quality of the SPL is below par otherwise we would be in big trouble. Good to see Cox back and we now have a defender who can throw a ball half the width of the pitch.

How can the official problem be resolved? do they have too high an opinion of themselves? Basically they arent very good at what they do so why dont they get a basic wage and a bonus with reference to how both managers rate them to boost their wage, at least that way they have to put a lot into the game to get their full pay because at the minute as long as they turn up the moneys in the back pocket. Going by todays input I think they should be browsing the internet to decide which charity to donate their wages to because they certainly didnt deserve them today.

For years I have had the pleasure of winding up a pal who's a Dundee United fan about being better than them, his reply was its all about building for next season they were poor for a few years and they have done not too bad since. So perhaps we need to start looking ahead, we dont quite have the right ingredients to make a gourmet dish this season so lets look at what we do have, what we can keep and what ingredients we can add to make various tasty meals next season.Maybe the under 19s will be coming into season by then. A good chef will add to what he currently has to produce the best dish possible, we got rid of some cod last season in the belief we were getting some Sea Bass in and ended up with fish fingers.

If the unthinkable were to happen then they could play at TCS, so long as SPL fixtures were given priority over SFL fixtures. Would the SFL allow it though?, we had to travel to Aberdeen except for a home cup game which we were allowed to play in Dingwall.

I think having the gyppeg sellers in the SPL would be great for the local area and really raise the local interest in top flight football, bit of extra cash for us for half a season for renting the stadium (must remember to get some of those mechanics disposable seat covers though) We spent a lot of last season in the top six and had an eye on European football for quite a few weeks too, so regarding County it doesnt count for much being at the top until the end of the season. (does it Dundee, eh) As for swapping places with County that would be a tough one to take, they couldnt play at ours though Dougal if the worst happened as we would be in different leagues.
