  1. Nice one Don. A request was put out for flag designs on the 13th Feb, are there any more flag designers out there who want to participate before we create a fresh poll to pick the fans surfer flag.
  2. Ubern Im assuming it would be digital as some flags on site are so have sent an email to confirm. Maybe for the price offered its hand painted ? Now that's what you call a highland charge. Its digitally printed!
  3. Its digitally printed, you just sent them a file. Price is for dimensions only. So you could even have the Mona Lisa holding an ICT scarf if you choose.
  4. Hi scotty just took a lower quality picture. Like I said I was looking more for composition than detail Ignore the circle where the letters should be. The CJT circle would be sized to suit the CTO eagles head
  5. Ive made a quick sketch, took a picture of it but am having problems downloading, The Eagle will need to be redone anyway due to the magnification and the flag also cropped to suit the 10;7 ratio. I have turned the flag 90 degs, Inverness at the top, ICT crest below, the eagle has wider wings. It going places, the sharp talons would be griping a circular ring of steel, the thistle would have a thicker stem to symbolise strength. Caley then Thistle below. The CTO logo eagles head is bottom at the left, the 'pride of the highlands' would be centred and the CJT logo would be opposite to balance the size and distance from the eagles head on the CTO Logo. Vertical bold stripes to be added. The flag would be similar ish to a Roman Army banner, so was also thinking about making it look like it is hung from a golden pole. Its only a rough sketch at this stage, I wanted to work out the composition of the flag as opposed to detail, just in case people would rather to go with the traditional every one has got that type of flag. We wont have many chances to design a flag so lets make a good one.
  6. Something will be organized soon.
  7. Anyone is completely free to design a flag and post it these are the 3 that Thomas 23 sent me.
  8. We now have permission to use the Clubs crest. The CTO logo and CJT logo.
  9. A few designs from Thomas23
  10. Well done guys 27 sponsors so far, Looks like Santas coming early this year.
  11. Now been given the OK. Any designs greatly appreciated, the dimentions will be to a scale of 1m x 70 cm or 70cm x 1m.
  12. Hi this has been delayed again slightly need to check a couple of things with the supplier.
  13. Thanks for the info Thomas23 With thanks to the above we are now aiming to buy a 10m x 5m surfer flag. the web site is quoting £330 plus postage. If I can get another 16 people on board we are getting a surfer flag. Another 10 ayes and I will start collecting money via paypal, as its not too much below the required target. I havent started collecting yet as I dont want to take anyones money and still not produce a flag.
  14. Excellent news.
  15. Looking good. 13 say aye so far £130 which is half way there to a 4m x 2m Surfer Flag already but I feel we can do far better than that. www.xtremegraphics.co.uk 4m x 2m £200 plus vat and delivery 8m x 4m £695 " " Once we can get a minimum of 25 people to give their word to pledge £10. I will then look at ways of collecting the money, For our 20th Anniversary, League Cup Final, Surfer Flag but for now if your a person of your word then just say you will donate £10. Ps Renegade, I have checked with Celtic and a surfer flag will be permitted before KO and at Half time but not during the cup final. Roby no its not on Facebook but feel free to spread the word
  16. For now lets see how many people are interested. Stage 2 Design flag. ( Completely open to suggestions ). Stage 3 Balance design & size v cost from supplier. Stage 4 Collect money, I think the most bonafide way may be to donate to the club shop ( although I havent asked as at an early stage before I offend anyone) Stage 5 Order it. Stage 6 Show off our new flag.
  17. Due to time constraints with the cup final being only 5 weeks away, A decision will have to be made this coming weekend to see if its viable. If you want to donate let us know soon.
  18. I think it was a subject worth talking about and certainly worth highlighting. Anything is possible right now and its up to you all to be speaking to absolutely anyone about our entertaining game on tv and coax them along to the cup final. Whingeing doesnt solve anything.
  19. Thats great news
  20. At least we can rest players and still field a quality team. We have so many good players now that some didn't even make it on to the bench for the cup game. At least they can player their part in the league.
  21. That sounds like a good idea you can count me in.
  22. Please put your name down in principle if you want to donate to the fans flag. Was thinking £10 a throw. If there's enough interest then we can make things happen.
  23. After watching Keogh scoring against Clyde followed by Hissy in the second last game of the season in the run up to promotion. Beating Hearts in the Scottish cup, Bagan toying with the defender before scoring the goal. Reaching the Scottish cup semis. Beating Aberdeen away mid week 3-2 ( Caley Jags Away) Equalizing with County to make it 3-3 I would say that after getting knocked out of the cup, same venue, same opposition, home advantage for opposition, Macdonalds dirty tactics to put off the players in penalties. The game also took the stuffing out of us for the following weeks. To come up against the same opponents, same conditions, with everything against us, to equalize with only 9 men, when everyone thought we were down and out. The unity and togetherness of the remaining team, the discipline and composure shown during the remaining 30 minutes whilst still trying to win the game then to take it to penalties, to have the 1st penalty saved to then totally out class them on how to win on penalties. I would say its certainly the most emotional match I can ever recall and a Major cup final for the very 1st time to boot.
