  1. moral of the story, don't waste your time argueing with an idiot.
  2. If its against Aberdeen it will probably be at a neutral venue called Pittodrie.
  3. Well done guys keep up the good work. Not only the best in Scotland but better than many large wealthy clubs in the rest of the UK. Only 3.2% less than Premier league leaders Liverpool and less than 1% behind 2nd place Arsenal. I noticed that out of 148 clubs, County were last, if they upped their game and managed an additional 20.7% they would be joint last.
  4. Youthfull caley go ballistic celtic were out played. We'll done guys. Still trying to thinking of a better slogan

Just checked SPFL web site and although we have 6 games on tv coming up the one on the 1st isn't listed.
  6. I thought he used to play a 2-4-4 then a 4-4-2 if Falkirk lost the ball
  7. I hope they don't embarrass themselves by assuming the ICT fans can be bought off on the cheap, or I may be tempted to start delving in to how certain peoples salaries are construed and does it conflict with sporting integrity. Anyway Im looking forward to seeing what the powers that be can come up with.
  8. No point having a go at the media or the SPFL come to think of it, they are there to mainly cater for the majority.
  9. I see the new manager is already a hotter topic than Butcher offski. I actually thought it may be Chabba. Yogi deserves a chance and we probably couldn't afford some of the managers mentioned, he gets my vote, the type of players we have will suit him down to the ground.
  10. Welcome to the Highlands Yogi.
  11. Anyone still taking bets on managers post
  12. I can recall Mr Doncaster repeatedly pushing for a 10 team SPL. Many clubs felt that they did not want nor need this, yet the issue was brought to the fore time and time again without any success. Did Mr Doncaster take this as a personal insult that his idea wasn't liked and push even harder make this come to fruition. Did Mr Doncaster learn anything about himself regarding his previous actions and experiences. Another issue has come to the fore to be discussed tomorrow 28/11/13, will attempting to change a decision made be deemed a personal insult, or will he listen and let common sense prevail, as not only is the current issue not wanted or needed, it is impractical, brings a greater danger to road users and with regards to Sporting integrity, if this tie takes place only 6 miles from the opposing club for the 2nd year running then the wrong people are running the organisation. Lets hope that common sense wins the day and that the cup organisers come out of this looking good by allowing changes to be made.
  13. Thanks for the offer it wasn't a personal plea for help but the post was to highlight that perhaps some fans rely on public transport, there aren't any local buses running that early around the city, our rural fans don't have a hope of getting to Edinburgh for a lunchtime Sunday KO
  14. Usually just drive to the stadium and leave the car there. That's assuming everyone has a car
  15. When I saw the title I thought it was about a game of darts.
  16. 1st post on this topic have I missed much
  17. grand, I'll get the boat from aberdeen and tie myself to the bar until I get a kip. Gets in at 08:00, so plenty of time for breakfast. See, you can get anywhere if you go for it! p.s. I cycled back the last time. Figure that one out! Ive been up a few times but am still trying in vain to get across to see a typical Ross shire style house on the island of Moussa but the boat across always seems to clash with the ferry home. Moussa might be an even better place to have your meeting.
  18. That's great news, Captain Foran and Brill Clean, sheet, secured in the same week
  19. He probably doesn't get it. Its like Luton Town playing Manchester City in a cup at a neutral venue called Old Trafford, should the Luton Town fans dry their eyes and get on with it. The media, clubs and fans in England must be pee1ng themselves laughing, at the incompetence of the SPFL
  20. I Imagine the Spfl will want to keep the venue and ko the same and will push for discounted supporters buses, forgive me for stating the obvious but how do fans get to the stadium or the supporters club in time for a probable 7am departure on a Sunday
  21. Well done Kenny.
  22. Don't be shy to contact the above, they may indicate their support but its better to contact them with your concerns.
  23. I would suggest the Hilton in Dunkeld would be a reasonable place for both parties to meet. If you are made to go to Glasgow to state your case, then in principle you wont be listened to. Expect to be asked, in what way can you help assist fans with regards to getting to Easter road for an Early kick off on a Sunday, which is irrelevant as the location is bias
  24. Talking of transport, is talking acceptance of location don't do it. The SPFL have been paid for the match to be on the TV, the venue is irrelevant, I think you would have mental health issues if you choose to tune in to watch the stands, instead of the match itself. They can cover it at any stadium. ICT must have good legal eagles as they must have been a great help with the Marius Nickulae case. I would imagine Easter road was not specified as a cup semi final venue before the tournament commenced there fore it must be deemed unlawful and bias. I am questioning the competence of the governing body of Scottish football and it wouldn't be for the first time. I think Pittodrie should be the 1st revised venue. We played Dunfermline there once for a Scottish cup replay, the replay was meant to be played at Hampden but the competent governing at the time decided Aberdeen would be A FAIR AND NEUTRAL LOCATION FOR BOTH PARTIES.
  25. Location and time disgusting Time to make a stand When does Sporting integrity come in to play. Before Hollyrood was built our current first minister once said it does not matter if parliament is held in a tin shed as long as it is held in Scotland. The Scottish parliament carries a lot of weight on its shoulders and stands for honesty integrity and truth. I would like the Scottish government to decide if the nominated Location, day and time is deemed to be honest and fair. Similar to Alex Salmonds comment the match does not have to be held in the city of Edinburgh in a large stadium, the most important thing is that the match is played but it has to be played with honesty integrity and fairness. I have heard of some teenagers who are planning to travel to Edinburgh on the Saturday evening and sleeping rough in Winter just so that they can afford to see their Highland team play football on a Sunday. Make a stand.
