  1. I'm going to give it a miss this time, so that should ensure that it will win, for those of you who are going to risk it!
  2. Clyde @ 3.80, please
  3. It's obviously understandable that, with the Premiership season now underway, that Liverpool will not risk any of their stars in what, to them, is a fairly meaningless friendly. However, i just wonder if the match would have been the near sell-out that it is, if everyone had known from day one just how strong a side Liverpool would take north!
  4. If Brew's intention is to give Duff a decent first team run to see if he cuts the mustard, I would support that decision. It is interesting that most posters are willing to forgive him his match losing error against Hamilton. How different to last season when Zibi, in goal for his first time in the first team against Aberdeen, made a bad error to give a goal away which contributed to our defeat. He was immediately dropped, and constantly castigated by most folk on here for the rest of the season. This despite, I'm led to believe, consistently good displays in our successful reserve team all season. What has caused this change of heart? Is it just that Duff is young, and 'home grown' that my fellow posters have become so tolerant?
  5. Yes, well done to Brew. An ambitious signing which I think has surprised all of us. Brew does seem to have a good eye for a player, so I'm optimistic this will turn out to be a good signing. I'm looking forward to seeing him play now!
  6. Forfar v Elgin, draw @ 3.60, please
  7. Getting in early this week after missing last week Elgin @ 2.75, please
  8. CB I'll be back this week. Was away last week-end and didn't realise SFL had started. I don't think I missed a week last year, so am gutted to have given everyone else 'a free go', so to speak.

  13. Smee, from your list, I've been lucky enough to do two of your wish list (almost 3). Australia is wonderful but for me I wouldn't bust a gut to see Ayre's Rock. There are many better places in Aus to visit (eg Sydney with Harbour Bridge and Opera House, Great Barrier Reef, Gold Coast and the real gem, Tasmania. Tasmania is a lot like Scotland was about 25 years ago (quiet and shut on Sundays!!), but well worth a visit. We have friends who live in Cocoa Beach, Florida right next to Space Centre. You can actually watch the lauches from their home. A few years ago our friend (who is ex US Air Force) got us tickets to go onto the Base to watch a launch from the perimeter road. Absolutely awesome. I also lived in BC, Canada when I was in my early 20s and have done the hunting and fishing bit. But in BC it is mainly Sockeye salmon, not steelhead Like you, I have the Grand Canyon still on my to do list.
  14. Keltic gold (Cornwall)
