  1. The semi final away to Forres has been moved to Tuesday with a 2000 kick off.
  2. This is an extract of the summary of the recent Fans Meeting, a link to which was shared on here following the meeting. The Andrew quoted is Andrew Benjamin, the club’s Commercial Director: https://www.ictsupporterstrust.org/post/summary-of-fans-meeting-16-aug-2025 When will the new strips be launched? Andrew advised that there would be new home and away strips. They were originally expected on 21 July but got delayed. He hoped the players’ strips would be delivered next week, and that we would be able to launch the strips before the game on 30 August.
  3. I enjoyed that last night but the score flattered us. The early Aberdeen goal gave them encouragement, even after our quick equaliser. Whilst we dominated possession we struggled to make clear chances and Aberdeen played the offside trap well. Zimba took his goals well and could have had one or two more. Alonje came onto a good game after the break, and MacKinnon got more time in his legs. Robbie Thompson must be pushing on the door for a league start. Clark and Sam Thompson did not look out of place, nor did Kerr when he came on. We definitely went up a gear after Longstaff came on, and ended up with the win we deserved, even if it was not as comfortable as the score suggests. It is hard to tell when everyone is in the Main Stand but it seemed to be a reasonable crowd too, but the number was not announced. It is good to see us top of the league, and hopefully we can do that in the league that matters too.
  4. Don Cowie has left County “by mutual consent”.
  5. That’ll do nicely! A massive game next Saturday against Alloa who have won all their games so far. They’ve a game in hand but if we win we close the gap to 2 points. Lose and the gap is 8, potentially 11 if they win their game in hand, so even at this early stage it is a “must not lose” game. Time to bring our away form home to Inverness.
  6. Paul Allan not in the squad. Hope his injury hasn’t flared up again.
  7. After last week’s hiccup this is one we really could do with getting three points in or we will start to get detached from the leaders. With teams on 6 points all playing each other, some of the leaders will drop points so it is an ideal opportunity to capitalise on that. Hopefully come full time we have secured our second away win and the travelling fans have a happy journey home.
  8. Not sure I understand the question, and I don’t claim to have the answers to the problem, other than trying to educate those fans who may pose a risk and, sadly, taking action against those who choose to flout the rules. I know that’s not as easy as it sounds though. I want atmosphere at games, but not behaviour that risks fans’ safety or can cause damage, and bring financial penalties on the club. The club clearly wants the support of younger fans, with the plan mentioned at the Fans Meeting for a singing and standing area in the West Stand.
  9. The club is required to make the safety announcements: you even get them at Highland League games. I assume it is part of the licensing requirements. Pyros are tiny and easily concealed, so it comes down to education and, sadly, punishment for those who break the law (the maximum penalty is imprisonment). Sadly a tiny minority of our (young teenage?) fans are causing issues at away games. We read on here about the damage caused at East Kilbride and now the flares at Elgin. I’m sure the club will have had to pay for the repair of the damage, money it can ill afford. It is not that long ago that a child was hurt by a flare in our ground, and where a club has a plastic pitch the repairs can be very expensive.
  10. Carl Tremarco appointed Assistant Manager at Brora.
  11. Robert replied to STFU's topic in Caley Thistle
Ben Gardiner is also off to Brora on loan until January.
  12. Away to Forres in the semi final on 3 September. Ross County host Clach in the other semi.
  13. Not much to say about that second half. Useful game time for the five young subs, more good saves by Logan Ross and nearly a last minute hat trick for Robbie Thompson, and that was about that.
  14. Enjoyable 45 from a young team. Robbie Thompson pulling the strings but every player has played their part. Logan Ross has had two good saves, the first at 0-0. I hope the goals have been caught on camera for those not here as there’s been some good stuff.
  15. Robert replied to STFU's topic in Caley Thistle
Shae Keogh on loan to Brora until January.
  16. That’s me belatedly done mine.
  17. The away game at Cove on 13 September has been moved to 1730 for tv.
  18. The referee has held his hands up to the MacIntyre free kick decision in the lead up to the penalty. However, we should have been out of sight and had the game won before the controversy happened.
  19. That should have been a comfortable win but we paid the penalty for not being out of site in the first half. Some of our play and movement was top drawer in the first half but we are still too reluctant to shoot and chances go a begging as a result. The free kick in the lead up to the penalty was a shocking decision as MacIntyre won the ball cleanly (but he deserved his booking for walking away with the ball) and I thought the penalty was debatable but note the comment earlier in this thread: one I need to see again. We didn’t play nearly as well after the break but were well on top and should have been able to put the game to bed. Instead we got caught on the counter attack. A bad day at the office but we knew there would be bad days. The key thing is to learn from it and regroup for the Montrose game.
  20. Really looking forward to this, and to hearing what Alan Savage has to say at the meeting before the game. I’m cautiously optimistic, but this is probably our biggest test this season so far. If we win, we have momentum to build on.
  21. The extra bus tomorrow is at 1200. The 1245 and 1415 journeys will also operate.
  22. Alex Samuel has joined Partick Thistle.
  23. The club has now confirmed this for Wednesday with a 1930 kick off. £8 adults, £4 concessions.
  24. We were drawn to be the home team but in recent seasons the fixture has been reversed when that has happened. It’s quite possible most of the Strathspey players are Inverness based anyway so it suits them not to be playing in Grantown.
  25. James Clark is one of the youngsters given pro contracts to step up from youth team this summer.
