  1. I agree but this week will give us a good indication as to whether the play offs are achievable. We need two good results against Morton and Queen of the South. We lost to both last time out, in games we should have done better in, so time to right two wrongs!
  2. I admire your optimism Jack, but we are only in the last 16 with a tough game with St Mirren to come!
  3. I agree this will be a tough game and we are definitely underdogs. St Mirren’s form is mixed. Before beating Hamilton 3-0 in the cup yesterday, they had won 2, drawn 5 and lost 3 of their previous 10 league games, with the wins being at home to County and Kilmarnock. Their defeats have been to the top three, Rangers, Celtic and Hibs. We can go there looking for a result and, if we get one, it will be a bonus in my opinion. We have 6 games to come in April, 7 if we win the cup tie, and other than Morton all our league rivals are out of the cup. But we need to focus on this week and getting good results on Tuesday at Morton and on Saturday at Queen of the South. Despite our recent run, we are only 5 points ahead of 9th so we can’t lose focus.
  4. The Lowland League has also finished, with Kelty declared Champions on a points per match basis.
  5. Building to an exciting finish!! I’m still expecting Gringo to make a late run and win again!
  6. Two for Jordan Roberts and one for George Oakley in the cup this afternoon. Ryan Christie also on the scoresheet in the evening game.
  7. No shocks today, except Clyde winning at Ayr. Only County and Hamilton from the top league are out, with the Old Firm and Hibs still to play their matches. As a result, the chances are we will draw a team from the Premiership.
  8. I see the BBC are giving Mckay the assist for Toddy’s goal. I thought it was Deas that headed it across to him.
  9. Twelve hours on from full time and still buzzing! Such a shame we couldn’t be there to witness such a great team performance and a well deserved win. Hopefully a home draw for the next round which is on the weekend of 17 April. Brora anyone?
  10. Ross and “leads” in the same sentence Kingsmills???
  11. Let’s put tonight in context. A Championship team that has struggled against teams like Alloa this season was drawn away to a Premiership team that has beaten the reigning Scottish Champions twice this season. Only one team played well. Only one team deserved to win. Only one team looked like the best team in the Highlands. Only one team looked like the Premiership team. Which team? The wonderful Inverness Caledonian Thistle. If we make the play offs, tonight showed we have nothing to fear Happy Easter all! Onwards and (hopefully) upwards.
  12. Graeme Shinnie scored from the spot for Derby this afternoon. I hope he then watched our game tonight!!
  13. Love it! You should add Roy MacGregor, John Hughes, Billy Mckay, Jordan White and Carl Tremarco!!
  14. He was dreaming! Reality hit him tonight!!!
  15. Can we move all our games to Friday evenings and be on BBC Scotland! We are unbeaten when that happens. Only problem is, it puts our players in the shop window.
  16. McCann, Mackay and Toddy all gave good interviews. We wanted it more than County. Whatever happens in the rest of April, tonight has made my season. That said, I really hope we make the play offs and, who knows, maybe even go up, and have a cup run, but it’s a long time since we beat County and, boy, does it feel good!!
  17. Three really good goals tonight. Could have been more with Allan’s passing. Once the players read them and stay on side we should be even more strong up front.
  18. Excellent performance by all. We deserved that and hopefully we continue this run on Tuesday. Just one complaint: I predicted a 2-1 win for us on Gringo’s NPL!!! Lol!! A great Good Friday with a few beers. Just a shame we couldn’t be there. Thank you Caley Thistle!!!
  19. Daniel Mackay BBC MoM. Well deserved.
  20. Harper on for Mackay. Implies we want to see this out.
  21. Remember he is out of position. He’s had a good season for us.
  22. Storey playing up top now. MacGregor right, Mackay left and Sutherland in the role Allan had. Nervy 13 to go.
