  1. And we have! What a peach by Doran for the second!
  2. Not sure how it looked in the livestream, but we should be well ahead in this one, but we can’t be complacent as Peterhead have had their moments. From where I am sitting, Duku has missed a couple of good chances, whilst Walsh and Doran had opportunities. Of the new signings, Broadfoot has been the pick for me. Walsh has been lively and Duku a nuisance. McAlear has been quieter so far. Hopefully we turn the possession and chances into goals.
  3. Sitting in the ground: feels good. Well organised entrance and seating is clearly marked out. The players are warming up now. Not certain but the tannoy guy sounds like Andy Bannerman…. Of our new signings, Broadfoot, Duku, McAleer and Walsh are starting. Fyffe also starting. Gardyne on the bench. https://mobile.twitter.com/ICTFC/status/1415005009444495363/photo/1 Now we need a good performance and a win!
  4. Really looking forward to tonight’s game, and I hope the team put on a great show. It will be interesting to see how we line up, given the new signings and the players who did not get time in the friendlies. Hopefully masks and social distancing don’t stop us generating a decent atmosphere, but as tickets are still available we don’t seem anywhere close to a crowd of 1000 for tonight.
  5. Let’s see how he does before criticising the move. Other than Devine, our defenders are all youngsters, so it makes sense to bring in an experienced player. Hopefully he helps to develop Duffy, Deas, Harper, Nicolson and Fyffe and, who knows, Nicolson or Fyffe may well be ready to be a straight replacement in a year’s time.

  7. Kevin McNaughton played four times for Scotland so will be a more recent example.
  8. I have checked with someone I know at Stagecoach and they have confirmed the football bus will be running now that fans are allowed back in the ground. It leaves the Bus Station 45 minutes before kick off, returning after the final whistle. Hope that helps.
  9. Italy deserved to win, but penalty shoot outs are cruel. I will never forget how it felt when we lost the League Cup final on penalties. Thankfully we have avoided the media hype that would have happened if “it had come home”. The poor kid who had the last kick saved will hopefully not be turned on by the English media. How a 19 year old was put in that position is ridiculous, whilst the others who failed to score were only on the pitch for seconds. Italy were the best team on the night, and thoroughly deserved to win, and ought to have won without needing to resort to penalties.
  10. Here’s my first effort. Enjoy the season everyone, and hopefully it’s a successful one for Caley Thistle. Any chance of a list of joker entitlements when you get a chance Gringo? HT 1-0 FT 2-0 ICT Duku Peterhead Lyle

Streaming info for the home cup games: https://ictfc.com/ictv-info-premier-sports-cup-matches For snorbens_caleyman, it also refers to information being available before the first home league game about how season ticket holders can access the streaming of the league games.
  12. In our group today, away wins for Stirling at Cove and Hearts at Peterhead. The Cove team included Vigurs and Draper, with Vigurs getting his customary booking.
  13. Two for Toddy in the League Cup this afternoon.
  14. Three games off today. As well as County forfeiting their game against Forfar, Morton have forfeited theirs against Stranraer, as have Dumbarton against St Mirren. In each case they did not have enough players to fulfil the game. That’s 3 out of 16 games in the cup disrupted by covid. Not a good sign for the early part of the season unless self isolation rules are relaxed due to the numbers vaccinated. If it continues when the league starts, presumably the games will be rearranged rather than 3-0 results being awarded, given the SPFL had to roll back on the penalties they imposed on clubs last season.
  15. This is now on the club website: https://ictfc.com/closed-doors-friendly-aberdeen-1-1-ictfc Thanks to ymip, I assume the trialist was Jevan Anderson: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jevan_Anderson
  16. It did finish 1-1. A very Aberdeen biased report here, with our line up at the very end of the report: https://www.afc.co.uk/report_nostats/pre-season-2021-aberdeen-v-ict/ Still no sign of the likes of Duffy, Devine, Deas, Allardice, McDonald or Mckay. Hopefully we don’t have a lot of injury concerns again.
  17. Unusual to get two good semis in a major tournament. Must admit, England deserved to win based on the 120 minutes overall. I make Italy favourites for Sunday, but who knows what will happen.
  18. Oops. Wishing my life away!
  19. I can’t find anything about today’s game yet. Any word on the score, team or performance?
  20. There’s now a direct debit option for season tickets: https://ictfc.com/season-tickets-2021-22-direct-debit-option
  21. I had successfully erased Jimmy Hill from my memory until I read your post!! I lived in England for many years, loved the area we were in (still not a patch on here though) and the people we got to know were great. It is just a shame the BBC (and at times ITV) forget they are broadcasting to the full country, not just to England. That’s what winds me up.
  22. I agree Scotty, it’s Lineker and his pals that wind me up. It used to be John Motson What a game tonight between Italy and Spain. Sheer class by both teams and you couldn’t grudge either winning. Spain will feel they did enough to win, but Italy will take some beating!
  23. Nice to get a home draw! We had a knack of scoring well against Brechin when they were in the Championship in our first season after relegation, but I’d prefer a game against Buckie. I agree it is time to bin the colt teams and expand the involvement of Highland and Lowland League teams. I’d not extend it to juniors, as I think that was the wrong decision in terms of the Scottish Cup.
  24. You’ve got it right Scotty. I’m not even noticing the adverts now, and I’m using my phone to access the site.
  25. I see the hype is getting to breaking point about “it coming home”! I fancy Italy based on what I’ve seen of the tournament, but adopted Denmark as my second team after Scotland following the situation with Eriksen, so I’m hoping for an Italy - Denmark final. The thought of watching the BBC if England win the tournament fills me with dread and, at risk of mixing this with the serious discussion board, will only increase support for independence!
