  1. I'm following the text commentary on BBC. Two chances so far, Austin missed one and Polworth had one saved.
  2. Interesting selection. Presumably Doran is injured? Will Chalmers stay left back or be back in midfield? If left back, does that mean Mckay is in midfield, or possibly right back with Rooney pushed forward? A bit harsh on Oakley that he is not one of the front two.
  3. Definitely! Assuming we don't mess up tomorrow, great to have a home draw against an opponent we don't normally come up against. Have we ever played either Edinburgh City or East Kilbride before?

He's been out of the squad recently due to a hamstring injury. He should return in the Under 18s up match this midweek.
  6. Hopefully another away win! I assume we will have Ann unchanged starting line up with our injuries. Hopefully Daniel Mackay makes the bench this week, so he, Austin or White give options if we need them. Any more injuries at the back or midfield will be problematic. To the fans who are going to the game, have a great time!

  8. Just watched the highlights in the report. Really great goal by Walsh and a really good penalty stop by Ridger.
  9. Thanks RiG and Alternative Maryhill, I will take a scrappy win over a draw any week, and hopefully it's the catalyst to give the lads the confidence to kick on. Queens are a tough team, so if we can go there and win, it will be great.
  10. Fascinating. I really didn't expect Elgin's record to be against Arbroath, or the figures for a Fife derby!
  11. I've finally watched the highlights on the link on the club website. From my seat, I was convinced Mckay was offside in the build up to the equaliser. Watching the footage, even with the red line on the replay, I'm really not sure: it was very tight. Both our finishes were very well taken. With today's win and the County performance, I'm feeling positive about the season. We won't win the league, but top four should be in our sights.
  12. Great to get a win at last. Hopefully we kick on. Sounds like we have Ridgers to thank again, and the makeshift defence will be pleased with a clean sheet. Good to see Walsh on the score sheet too. But we are short of players: only 2 of them experienced pros, so we need to avoid injuries and suspensions. Worrying if big Coll has a knock. I thought he played through an injury against County last week too.

  16. Sounds like we got a point we didn't deserve today. Ive seen the MOM votes so far, and sounds like McCart did ok. Should our pairing be McCart and Donaldson? Hope Carlo will not be out for long. Dunfermline seem to be in turmoil, so hopefully we get a result against them on Tuesday, to set us up for the derby. I think we can win it!!

Heard on the radio that Edinburgh City have won 12 on the spin in all competitions. We need to field our strongest team.

That sounds promisingly. I've always liked his work ethic, and the ball often sticks when he controls it. If fit enough, I'd put him straight back in if he is happy playing on plastic pitches. What's the story with Austin, as we rarely see him.
  20. Judging by the updates on Twitter, a point gained rather than two lost. I agree with bughtmaster, we need to start winning or we will get detached from the leaders.
