  1. Ridgers Seedorf Warren Mckay Raven Vigurs Mulraney Trafford Calder Bell Oakley although I suspect Raven and Bell won't start but Chalmers and Baird will. Will be interesting to see whether Trafford gets a start or is on the bench.
  2. Happy with the statement, which I read as open and honest, and probably the earliest they could do under the circumstances. I would like to be at Monday's meeting, but am away on business, so look forward to the reports? Hopefylly we are getting towards stability off the park which will translate into a better season on the park than we are currently fearing! And no, I am not a "happy clapper", but someone passionate about our club and wanting it to succeed.
  3. An honest assessment, hopefully he (and the rest of the squad and management) takes that as motivation into the next few games. If he understands how we are all feeling, he can hopefully translate that on to leadership on the park.
  4. That's been coming from what I heard a few weeks ago.
  5. Did we play Strathspey last week? Anyone know the score?
  6. Billy Mckay on loan?
  7. Limited highlights, but looked pretty even until we gave them the third. We do look lightweight at the back, hope Warren is back soon, and inconsistent in midfield. Hard to judge the forwards on the highlights, but looked like Baird had a decent effort. Vigurs the pick. All that said, goals are what count, and 5-1 does not lie! With Morton scoring 4 yesterday, Saturday looks like being very tough!
  8. I missed the United game but was heartened by the comments of those there. Today is the complete opposite, as it seems only Vigurs justifies any points in the MOM poll. I thought we had a gem when I saw Seedorf against Brechin, and that he and Mulraney would be a great combination. Not so sure on today's comments. Similarly, playing Calder further forward seemed a good move, but not today if seems. At best, we may be in for inconsistency given the age of many players. At worse, I dread to think. Most disappointing feedback was about Polworth. I really hope he makes central midfield his own! And the irony of Draper and Tansey lining up against each other this afternoon cannot be lost on us.
  9. And racking up bookings again.
  10. Less than 13 months ago, we went there and won 5-1. May 2015 seems an ever longer lifetime ago.
  11. But only four points off top too if nothing changes...... Not that I'm placing any store on closing that in forthcoming weeks unless things suddenly gel.
  12. Just hope next Saturday goes better than today has so far! I am sure they will have sent the e-mail to all addresses they have. Feel free to use the link above to get the contact details and take up the offer. As it happens, I will be swapping my seat as a pal is coming to the Morton game with me, so I can't sign up for the offer.
  13. I'd push Calder forward, with Raven at left back and Chalmers on the bench. Otherwise I agree, although Bell must run Baird close for a starting place.
  14. He's been linked with them for a few weeks.
  15. I'm not sure how they have my e-mail, must have had to give it at some time. However, the link gives you the contact e-mail and number so feel free to use it.
  16. Received e-mail about this earlier today: http://mailchi.mp/85c94a37d521/season-ticketholder-offers?e=210ee29d8c
  17. I agree, it is his moment and must take it!!
  18. That's harsh. We only saw what the broadcaster decided to show, so there may have been positive comments, who knows? He did well for us, and that was recognised near and far, so his departure was inevitable since the end of last season. Yes it is galling that he has gone to County, but if settled in the area, with not that many years playing time left, he has to look after his family. We are all fans, but how many of us can honestly say we would not have taken the opportunity to get better financial security? We should be thanking him for his efforts, and looking forward to locking horns at some time in the future.
  19. I missed the game today (first home game since work meant I missed the midweek Celtic game). Whilst disappointed by the result, I am heartened at some of the comments made. Sounds like Calder may be a find if pushed forward, so I would put Raven in at left back until Tremarco returns, assuming Seedorf fit. Other than that, starting Mulraney ahead of Polworth and possibly Bell ahead of Baird and we may have a decent team, with Warren also restored for Elsdon when fit. Bit worried about the goalkeeping situation though. We need to get the shooting boots in in midweek against Strathspey to boost confidence for Dunfermline next week.

  21. Oh dear, 1win, 3 draws and 4 defeats predicted to date..... just hope CaleyBraveheart's crystal ball is working!!

    Neymar

The world has gone mad. I'm really glad I'm a Caley Thistle fan and not a fan of one if the mega bucks elite! Obscene indeed is an understatement!
  23. Real shame for Boyce, even if his goals against us could have been the difference between staying up and our relegation. What was it, 9 or 10 in four games, when our top scorer got 8 all season? Pretty much sums it up!!

    Live Video

Could well be..... Interesting piece on STV website (I think) about the filming of all Championship games from season 2018/19 to save clubs the cost of doing their own thing. Hopefully it will not affect us if we get back up!!
