Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation
I’ve not bought yet. Hopefully he is gone within the two week extension.

Nairn County pre-season
That’s exactly the type of message Ferguson should be giving our young players and it will boost their confidence. His interview on Saturday will have done nothing for them. He needs to learn how to get the best out of people, and fast!

Pre-season fixtures
Don’t know. They describe us as League 1 and many of our team are under 18 anyway!

Pre-season fixtures

Our squad next season
Forres got a 3 point deduction in the Highland League last season for fielding an under 16. I’d imagine the same rules apply in the leagues. Ferguson also said there may be one or two leave and one or two come in.

Our squad next season
Apparently Ujdur has been sold to Queens Park.

Clach Game
He’s a bit heavier and slower, but strolled through the hour or so that he played for. He was talking the Clach defence and midfield through the game too. He made a couple of heavy challenges on Brooks, but it was all sporting. I should have said earlier that Gilmour was on the pitch before the game going through exercises so hopefully he’s nearly fully fit too.

Clach Game
It was nice being back at a game and good to see 11 local youngsters involved. At first I thought we were going with a back 4 but it quickly became clear it was a back 3/5 with Bray and Strachan the wing backs. Davidson was played in central midfield with Longstaff on his right and Thompson on his left. I agree with tm4tj’s assessment. The wind messed things up a bit in the first half, which was even with Clach having more chances, despite us bossing possession. It was reminiscent of last season, plenty of possession but no cutting edge, no one left up when defending a corner and Mckay dropping very deep. We pretty much bossed the second half and both goals were well taken. I’d pick out a couple more players to those mentioned already. I thought Davidson was very comfortable in midfield, and Strachan had a good game at left wing back. Too early to draw any conclusions, but it felt good to be back at a game.

Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation
I’ve not renewed yet, but plan to as soon as there is confirmation of investment and the departure of SG. I hope we hear good news on both soon, and that whoever the investor is ensures that communication improves. In the meantime, I hope to make the Clach game tomorrow and will be at Nairn on Tuesday, giving the players my support. They are not at fault in any way so need to know we are behind them.

2024/25 fixtures released
Some League 1 games get moved to Saturday teatime for BBC Alba. There are the same number of games as in the Championship, but probably fewer weekends kept clear for cup competitions.

Our squad next season
Cameron Ferguson is missing from the website too.

Our squad next season
We still need a back up goalie so Duke remains in the dugout! 😂😂 Seriously though, I hope Jack does very well for us, but where’s the logic in making two local ‘keepers leave and bringing in someone who we will need to pay accommodation costs for? A Dundee United fan I know said he was a capable back up for them, who got some first team experience in their relegation season, and he feels he can do a good job for us.

Our squad next season
In the Clach game thread, Duke of Inverness booked his place in the dugout so he’s ahead of me in the pecking order to be sub goalie😂😂

Our squad next season
Someone posted a P&J article earlier saying we are expected to bring goalkeeper Jack Newman in on loan from Dundee United. We will need another one though.

ICT Supporters Trust Statement: Pre-season
Catching up on this thread, as someone (STFU, I think, but apologies if it was someone else) has said elsewhere, this is not the time for fans to be arguing amongst themselves, as that will merely be what SG wants to see. I know this is a Forum and debating is good, but we really need to stand together at this time and avoid recriminations. If nothing else, the statement will hopefully have resonated with some on the Board and may prompt them to get things concluded and fans updated. It is likely that today’s squad update was issued as a result of what the Trust said yesterday. I understand the absolute deadline for the submission of the accounts to 31 May 2023 is the end of this month, which presumably means close of business on Friday. I believe our licence is at risk if we miss that deadline, but I know others are more clued up on this than me, and will be able to correct this if my understanding is wrong.

Aaron Doran
Great to see the STV News interviewing Aaron and covering the situation he has found himself in. A true professional who spoke very well about the circumstances and how badly he’s been let down. He also highlighted the lack of communication with fans and why would anyone buy anything given the silence from the club.

ICT Supporters Trust Statement: Pre-season
Every fan would immediately call the club out if it is stupid enough to blame fans for the demise of the club. We all know the real reasons why things are in such a mess, and it’s nothing to do with the actions of fans, and definitely not due to the actions of the Trust.

Pre-season fixtures
An additional game is Nairn away on Tuesday 2 July at 1930.

Kelty/ Is this a joke - merged thread
That’s not the point. He should have been seen and had the situation explained to him about why a new contract was not being offered, and advised that his P45 would follow by e-mail. Thats only common decency. Treat others how you’d want to be treated yourself.

Our squad next season
Young goalkeeper Corey Paterson has joined Forres.

Kelty/ Is this a joke - merged thread
Welcome, and please keep contributing to the Forum. Things do seem to be progressing and hopefully that will continue. For me, the two key issues were Kelty and the club leadership. The first has been achieved, the second is well under way. Based on that I will be renewing my season ticket and getting behind the club. I fully understand those who are waiting to see what happens next and I respect their viewpoint. I hope they feel able to come on board soon. I also understand why the club is not publicly stating when SG is actually leaving. They could only do so with his agreement as they need to comply with GDPR regulations. This is different to most player contracts which are for a fixed term and, I suspect, players and their agents probably don’t get sticky on such things being known publicly. It does sound like discussions with investors are going well. I feel it is important that these potential investors see that fans are getting behind the club again as they will have seen the strength of feeling and just how united fans have been in the Kelty and leadership issues, along with the growth in Supporters Trust membership and its increased profile in the media.

The Inverness Cup Final against Clach?
