  1. Meanwhile, a reminder of bygone days with produce waiting for the driver to return to load it on at Tarbert:
  2. Not Lochs but Galson (who just seem to have minibuses now) and this did not end its days as a bus, but this one would have made authentic noises (a 1974 Leyland Leopard with Alexander bodywork, new to Western SMT):
  3. Manny Duku scored his first goal for York tonight.
  4. Dundee away will be a challenging match but they’ve slipped up too, so one we need to target three points from. Hopefully the week off means we have more players to choose from with some of the injuries hopefully cleared up.
  5. I preferred the old ones: more character and some real engine noises!!
  6. Meanwhile a modern bus, as opposed to coach, in Stornoway: I think the company building the body is Egyptian, with it being on a Volvo chassis:
  7. Meanwhile this was in Stornoway, Malta registered:
  8. This morning on approach to Ullapool:
  9. Next weekend’s games are on subject to Police resources so ours should be on.
  10. Understandable, and a decision I agree with, but conditions would have been perfect this afternoon. I wonder if the same will happen next weekend with the fixtures postponed if the Queen’s funeral is not until Monday 19th. It may give some of our injured players time to recover so we hopefully have a stronger squad available for whenever we next play.

  12. What I’m not clear on is whether I can get a ticket for my grandson at the same time as I get one for myself if I want to buy it before the general sale starts.
  13. I hope I’m not too late for submitting questions in time for the meeting. Picking up on the concerns of long standing, responsible fans on the discussion about the concerts, it is clear that there is a widely held concern about the financial stability of the club. Whilst setting the Concert company up as a separate business gave some protection, fans would like to understand the Board’s view of the implications of its failure on the immediate financial stability of the club, and also on the future financial prospects given the reputational damage and loss of concerts as a future income stream. What does it mean for this year’s budget as players were signed before the failure was known. Are we likely to see players sold in the January window to try to balance the books? Will we be able to maintain a squad that can get us back to the top league in the near future? The departure of Keith Haggart is also a concern, given the general high regard those who had dealt with him had for him. He had clearly built relationships and brought in advertising and sponsorship, as well as revitalising the hospitality offering. What implications does his departure have? I know businesses need to keep some information confidential, but I hope the club will give as open and honest dialogue as they can. With fans worried, now is the ideal time for the Chairman or CEO to commit to regular (monthly?) updates on the club throughout the year. When times are tight, you batten down the hatches and keep those around you on side. The club needs to keep fans on side. I hope the above thoughts and questions are helpful for the discussion.
  14. Confirmed as 1500 on the Saturday: https://ictfc.com/ticket-info-brechin-city-h-24-09-2022
  15. I met Keith a few times and was impressed by his drive and ambition to make things better. It is a shame if he has gone due to the Concert issues. His family is still in Dundee so I hope he has made the move for personal reasons rather than being pushed or forced to jump.
  16. James Vincent is now with FC United of Manchester.
  17. Thanks Mantis and ymip, it sounds like we deservedly won and were good in the second half in particular. I was critical of recent performances, but hopefully we’ve turned a corner and are back on track. I said on Wednesday that I’d join the “Dodds out” group if we lost today so I’m happy to give him more time to prove he can make us competitive in this league and have us in a real promotion fight. It’s good to read how well Harper did in midfield and that the Devine / Deas partnership was solid.
  18. The club’s report: https://ictfc.com/match-report-raith-rovers-0-2-ictfc-03-09-2022 Sounds like Ridgers made an excellent, vital save to keep it goalless at half time. Three great points, more than I expected. Hopefully we have come through our bad patch and kick on from this. What did those at the game make of it?
  19. Another for Todorov today for Dunfermline. In the Highland League, Dale Gillespie and Andy MacRae scored for Brora, Andy MacAskill got two for Buckie, and Kevin McHattie scored what has been described as a screamer for table topping Brechin, who have now won 18 consecutive league games.
  20. I’d rather hear from our travelling support!!
