Think Danny MacDonald's role is more on the business side of things, as opposed to a 'D of F' role? I wouldn't be unhappy to see CC in a 'D of F' type role..not sure if the finance is there though, but, long term, may be an option

Transfer in and outs
Think you've misunderstood what O was saying - I'm not happy about Draper going to County or the way the whole saga was unfolding...just saying that dwelling on it isn't going to change anything..County are a Premier league club, we aren't! Agree with RiG about the culpability of the board in all this too...I'm not meaning to come across as a 'happy clapper' , just making the point that Draper isn't gonna miraculously re-sign because we are all up in arms about it.. We really do need to move on...

Season Ticket Holder Offer
I've not received that email either - shame, as its sounds like a pretty good deal

Transfer in and outs
Right, Draper has gone...lets move on, eh! We can debate the rights & wrongs for the rest of the season but it won't change anything.. Personally, as I said before, if Draper wanted to go, not much point in keeping him...still think we sold him cheaply though.. BUT...frees up a big earner off the wages bill, as well as the somewhat paltry transfer fee - might help in the longer term, who knows...

Transfer in and outs
Shoot me down in flames, but if its true that Draper put in a transfer request & asked to leave, then probably just as well to sell, rather than keep a reluctant player, then see him go for nothing.. Tansey a good example - he didn't exactly set the heather on fire last season..

Transfer in and outs
Rumour is that the deal for Draper to the Fortune Tellers is done for £100k...not very happy about that, agree with rhe comments about £100k being derisory

Transfer in and outs
Does anyone still think Raven will definetly be going? He played ok yesterday, solid enough display. Personally, I'm not sure we shoukd be looking to shift him

Transfer in and outs
Think County are delighting in getting their own back for us signing Don Cowie (local boy & captain) on a pre-contract several years ago...!
-
Transfer in and outs
Totally - we need some experienced heads there to help a vastly changed team gel (not there yet, that's for sure..).

RAVEN
Good to see Raves playing yesterday (not literally for myself though - was working...).

Pre-season
Think when a squad is being rebuilt, it's always the case that not every signing may make an instant impact. I wasn't impressed with zsschuschen (forgive the spelling...) but maybe he just needs more time to bed in (having said that, I thought the same thing about Lopez & Boden..- shows you how much I know...!). I seem to remember a certain Billy McKay (County's new boy...aargh!) & Denzil Wyness were pretty sh*te when we first had them at the club?

If I won the Euromillions jackpot, what would I do....
Would agree with most of this, apart from points 5 & 6. Can completely see where you're coming from with the name change & strip change (& agree with you as well!!), but think too much time has gone past now to do this - pre 1997 (move to the stadium) is when this should have been done, we've too much history as ICT now. Have to say though, if we had a vote on changing to Inverness FC, I'd seriously consider it.. As for the strips - I'm happy with the stripes look, but WHY do we have to have red, white & blue on our home tops!!! Brings up too many negative connotations of a certain Govan based club (in fact, an ex anti merger Caley fan at my work told me he hates 2 teams that play in red white & blue - guess who they are....). Red, black & blue is fine (like we had a few seasons ago) & more appropriate.

RAVEN
This is a difficult one..I can see this from both sides. For me, Raven still has a lot to offer - I know he's probably past his best, but is still a quality player who could make a contribution to the squad. However, I can also see Robbo's point of view - why keep a player on a big contract who is in the latter half of his career? Personally, I'd keep Raves & offer him a smaller/pay as you play contract when his current one expires (if he's still an effective squad member, obviously). My guess is that he may go for that, as he seems to be settled up here & doesn't want to move away. You have to feel for him, that's 2 managers who have frozen out a player who could legitimately be called a club ledgend (even just for THAT goal at Hampden!). Think the Yogi freeze was possibly a personal thing though..

Transfer in and outs
Hopefully not..Dani Lopez would definetly be a contender in a 'worst ICT striker' poll! Maybe Zshuschen is just needing to fet game time with his new team mates - that's what I'm banking on anyway...

Transfer in and outs
Certainly don't have a problem with giving Highland League players a try out - who knows where they might end up! Obvious example of a meteoric rise is £10m Liverpool signing Andy Roberston who was playing part-time for Queens Park 4 (or 5 - I'm not sure!) seasons ago...

Inverness CT -V- Falkirk
Pretty much spot on - the performance was disappointing but is a good guide as to what we need to do to progress this season. I think we will improve as the players get more used to each other - there are positive signs there, but probably needed a reality check after the Brechin game. Definetly re-iterate the other comments on here that we seem to have unearthed a gem in Seedorf! Like the look of Oakley too & I think once Baird gets off the mark, he will be a wee goal machine.. Misplaced optimism? Maybe, but hopefully not!

Club Shop - Academy Street?
I was just using MT Aviemore as an example of what can be achieved with relaticely modest premises..agree that the council could do more to encourage small businesses to open up in the city centre, especiallydown at that end of Academy St. Hopefully some fruit will come from Caman's excellent idea.

Open Day
Didn't the club do something similar prior to the start of out last season out of the premier? Seem to remember going to an open evening & TB was talking to the fans & MM gave us a tour round the home dressing room.

The Liam Polworth Enigma
100% agree - think Polly is a decent player & as I said on the Iain Vigurs thread too, maybe all he needs to shine is a knowledgeable, supportive & positive manager...didn't have that last season!!
-
The Ian Vigurs enigma
I'd agree with that - I can rember him giving a pre-game nterview to caleyjags TV towards the end of last season & he was asked if he would stay or leave if we got relegated - his answer was along the lines of "I'll stay if the club wants me" - didn't strike me as the sort of answer a big headed money grabber would give! As I said before, I'm hopeful that Robbo will get the best out of Vigurs..
