Derby Day feelings
I thought our record attendance was 7700+ but according to ict site official record attendance was 7512 - I remember being at that game when the crowd was read out and thinking WOW as I thought that exceeded our capacity

Derby Day feelings
Could we break our stadium record of 7512 v rangers, would be excellent if that happened - according to official site we have 283 seats left when you total up the availability and I'm sure we didn't have the west stand section when we set our previous record

Hospitality
I was hearing the Chieftain Hotel is laying it on for the County fans prior to the game and offering them all sorts before and after the game. Bit unreal how they would be doing this for them and not offering it to ICT fans as their regular clientele will be local to Inverness. This is their offer below Come along to the Chieftain Hotel on Friday 5th of October from 4.30pm onwards to join in the Pre Derby Get Together for all Ross County fans heading to the first SPL Highland Derby! The Chieftain Hotel is putting on pre match entertainment in the form of Singer Hunky Dory who will get the party started and for all County fans heading to the game there will be free pies laid on by the Hotel! The Chieftain Hotel also boasts 5 pool tables and Darts and kids are allowed into the bar up till 9pm! If before the game you are looking to fuel up then the Hotel has just introduced a new menu which will fill you up ready for kick off! A 78 Seater Staggie Special Bus has been arranged to shuttle County fans out to the game which will leave the Hotel at 6.45pm direct to the Stadium and return to the Chieftain straight after the game! Tickets for the bus are priced at £3 per person! To avoid disappointment tickets for the Bus can be booked by calling the Chieftain Hotel direct on 01463 232241 from 9am on Friday 28th September! For Staggie fans who are not able to get a ticket for the game the Hotel will be showing the game live on its Big Screen! After the game the party will carry on with a Disco & Karaoke set from DJ Dave for any Staggie fans who still have a voice left after Cheering on the County! For any County fans who do not live locally and want to make a night of it the Chieftain Hotel have rooms available but please do not delay as Rooms are going fast in the build up to this massive game! We look forward to welcoming all County fans to the Chieftain Hotel and helping them get into Good Spirit & Voice before Kick Off in which will be the first Highland Derby in over 2 years and the first in the SPL!

Deadline day signings
Taken from the BBC nverness: Celtic loan Andre Blackman to Caley Thistle Celtic defender Andre Blackman has been farmed out to Inverness Caledonian Thistle on loan until January. The 21-year-old has made only three appearances for the Scottish champions since winning a contract in October. London-born Blackman was with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Portsmouth as a youth. He started his senior career with Bristol City before moving to AFC Wimbledon but was without a club when he joined Celtic. Now he will remain in the Scottish Premier League with Terry Butcher's Caley Thistle. Butcher has recently added youngsters Philip Roberts and George Brislen-Hall to his ranks, but he was keen to temper fans' expectations about the new recruits. Striker Roberts has arrived on loan from Arsenal, while defender Brislen-Hall was released by the London club. "They are young players and I don't think the supporters should expect too much," he said. "Phil is 18 and George is 19 and they are players who haven't really had a taste of first-team football. "It's great to have two news faces. It's two extra faces that we didn't think we'd get, so it's a massive bonus for us.

Both those quotes were made at the same time 10hrs ago and I read it more as an issue with flying rather than any negative thoughts about coming here. He even shows a picture of the runway with the second comment and seems relieved to touchdown with his Landed! comment. He may be really keen for all we know. OOps timeline has changed and shows an hour between quotes - prob check in time first then the second quote on the runway

ICT v Kilmarnock
Oh dear. Otj should hang his head in shame. He got taken from behind and no doubting it was a bad tackle but in no way can his behaviour be condoned. As for the game itself we bossed the first 20 mins but after that killie were the better team. In the 2nd half we were quite scrappy and few players stood out. I don't like to criticize our own but raven and Sutherland looked well short of the standard required. However still unbbeaten but already hoping that dundee and hibs are uber poor. Bring on the jambos:)

Ross on for mackay. Should have been Shane. Done nothing!

ICT v Kilmarnock
We certainly started brightly and had the best of the opening 20 mins. Killie have pretty much domninated coming into the break and we've been on the back foot. A draw at half time sEems pretty fair. Hopefully we will start the 2nd half like the first. Feeling optimistic at the moment. Maybe the fact I had too many bEers at the caley club before game :)

There's no one here. What a poor attendance for the 1st game of the season at home. Not gonna believe the figures in tomorrows paper :(

ICT new home shirt 2012-14
FWIW I quite like the strip with the blue shorts going well with the top and the more I see it the more I like it which gives me a bit of a dilema. Do I or don't I get one after previous years when all the young uns used to go on about older guys wearing football tops. MMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

COVENTRY GAME
FYI I phoned the club yesterday and ordered 3 tickets for the hospitality package. The nice lady/girl who took my order mentioned that they had opened up the offer to non season ticket holders. Thought i would mention it for any that may be interested but are not ST holders.

Would you give up your seat for Celtic?
Seem to remember neil lennon a couple of months back asking the celtic fans not to boycott away games as they need them there for their support and energy etc - just won't happen . If anything it will make the day out even better for them with their Diego Maradona chants etc and getting to take the rip out of us for what is an utter terrible statement from our chairman. IMHO

Buckie roll call
What a rotten afternoon for a game of football and I'd imagine a bit of a rude awakening for some of the new players 1st taste of scottish football. Buckie started better than us and had a couple of goals chalked off for offside, The second of which was a shot from a free kick that beat esson and looked ok from where we were standing. After the goal by Shane we looked reasonably ok without being able to score though Buckie created some chances on the break. Second half after a few changes was in a pretty similar vein and until m laing scored we didn't look too threatening, we had plenty of the ball without creating clear cut chances, with buckie crowding out the box and our final pass in to the box all too often going astray, All in all a pretty typical pre season game and I often wonder why I go to them. Highlights for me, The linesman who chalked the goals offside and was being given the dogs from the Buckie fans. After the second disallowed goal they called him a **** eyed so and so to which he turned and faced them and crossed his eyes back to them , they then called him a fat so and so again he faced them and started rubbing his stomach at them, kinda makes you yearn for the old highland league days.

Ross Draper Signs
Understand where RossP is coming from, he seems quite a big chunky guy (not as big as bobby Mann) and looked a bit slow and cumbersome compared to the others, seemed to try and pass the ball about a bit but not always very well, However it was a crap day for a game of football and I will reserve judgement until they get the chance to know each other better.

Dear Mr Cameron,
Well Done Kenny, It makes me extremely proud to support a club that values sporting integrity at the forefront of it's ideals, we can now look forward to the season ahead and hopefully this sorry saga in Scottish football can start on the road to recovery and show the world that the values of fair play and sportsmanship that us Scots have always been known for can come to the forefront.
