  1. Back in the day they used to produce some nice leisure wear like sweat / polo shirts etc. It would be nice to see that kind of thing return. Not everyone wants to wear a football shirt including me.
  2. There probably aren't a lot of fans with that sort of spare cash to throw at the club. Nice idea but I could never see it happening and it would only be a short term fix anyway i would think. As Kingsmills quite rightly says, money is not the answer. We need that stability at the club from top to bottom. No rookies - just experience

It is my view that Kenny Cameron did a fine job at ICT and he has the club in his blood. It's a job I wouldn't relish. Trying to keep the club afloat in the face of increasing financial stress can't be easy. We could, of course, gone the other way and spent until the cows came home which would undoubtedly have ran up debts that would have seen the club ruined beyond repair. Yes, he could have taken action regarding our current plight as early as Yogi's departure and NOT appointed a rookie manager but were there any other realistic options available given the finances If that was the case he'd have taken them wouldn't he? Anyway, that's in the past now, we move on to next chapter, but I reflect and remember what he has done for this club. I wish him a very happy and healthy retirement.
  4. CaleyD is in the boardroom right now holding all the members to ransom until they make the one big (easy) decision we all want
  5. Agree 100%. So sorry I can't be there today for this massive game. Hope everyone gets behind the boys even if things aren't going our way. It's going to be a nervy afternoon for sure. Come on ICT...we have a chance, go grab it.
  6. Fair comment there Charles and you are no doubt correct in your views regarding events / support at the start of the Caley Thistle journey. I'm also all for ICT living within their means which generally speaking we have managed to do. Our average home crowd doesn't support a PL wage in my view. Over the years ICT have climbed up the league ladder and culminated in a glorious SFA Cup win but this hasn't attracted more punters through the gate. We have an average home gate that could just about support the wage at Championship level...maybe.
  7. Having said that...I've not been to Brechin either
  8. I think it's still relevant to the club in general. It is my view that the apathy still exists in the city
  9. I really can't see us getting back up at the first attempt to be honest - at least not with the current set up anyway. The club needs investment which isn't forthcoming and even after our cup win, which showed the potential of this club, the response was negative. It's a real shame. Some have mentioned that there is still a majority of folk within the city that still haven't got over the merger and refuse to have anything to do with the new club. There may well be an element of truth in this which is really really sad. It was over twenty years ago - get over it. With this in mind I have this awful feeling we are going to fall even further behind our neighbours and could well end up going part-time and fighting it out with the likes of Elgin City. And as for Foran's after match comments....I'm gobsmacked. How can you possibly keep praising a side that can't win or defend?
  10. There's no hiding from the fact that they've got it right over the bridge....and we haven't. Awful season all round.
  11. Never been to Dumbarton's ground before [Cheaper Insurance stadium!!!! WTF?] so I'm looking forward to it already That would be the only 'new' ground for me so we'll need to drop lower for me to get more grounds in.
  12. SPFL PL - It's not for fans.
  13. Looking at the National Rail timetable (and providing there are no changes to it by next season) it looks like I will be able to get to and from Dumbarton (East) next season on the same day
  14. Can we now banish the 'Pride of the Highlands' logo now please it's just adding to the embarrassment? Thank you.
  15. This mess was created by the board in my view. I sincerely hope this appointment works out well for ICT but I feel it's too little too late. Time will tell of course but we haven't got much of that left. Action should have been taken months ago. Five games left and eight points from safety is a tall order for an out of sorts team. Can be done of course but I can't see it happening to be honest. Lose in Dingwall and we can start booking trips to Dumbarton.

The Board's statement said nothing. What is has done though is show us (me) very little confidence in those that have, effectively, put us in this situation. They really needed to take action here to correct their own mistakes in my view. They haven't done that from what I can see.
  17. Relegation will inevitably lead to a loss of jobs, as it did last time, and that responsibility lays firmly at the door of those that created this mess.

I don't think we have the team spirit to get out of this mess tbh. Please prove me wrong ICT.
  19. I for one can not see any light at the end of the tunnel tbh. I really think appointing RF was a big mistake - I hoped I was wrong but it doesn't look that way the moment. I can't see us avoiding the drop with the current tactics. We're not creating chances or putting them away when we do. We need goals (and stop leaking them) and we're not getting them. We still have talented players in the squad but the gaffer doesn't know how to play them from what I can see. Experience is everything when fighting a relegation battle and RF haven't got this. Please prove me wrong RF.

We can't defend, we can't score, they can defend, they can score (sometimes). Got 0-0 written all over it

    Fixed it for you K

What a shame our 1000th game is against 'them'. I wouldn't have minded purchasing the magazine on this milestone occasion but I refuse to have anything that has 'them' in it.

Seemed to vote ok but now disappeared.
  24. Shame that wasn't an option. If it was I'd suggest it would beat the votes for the Hamilton game. Hearts was awful but it has to be Hamilton really as we haven't learnt any lessons from past failings. Celtic hurt on Sunday but probably not as much as Hamilton because there were no points at stake.
