Always sad to hear these horror stories of injury but, I suppose, it comes with the teritory. A footballers career is very short at the best of times and for a lad like this to suffer this and such a low wage is tragic. I wish the lad all the very best and hope the op' is a success and he can continue to earn a few quid on the park.

Well, I should be Scotland (Inverness area) on that date. I reckon we should kick off the season a home - I base that on the fact that the past two seaons we've started away from home. But, this is the SPL so anything could happen.

Aye, you're right. The Arsenal goal was the result of a bad decission. Def' a dive that one. However, I did here that one of the linesmen had to be replaced before kick-off because he was photgraphed wearing a Barca' shirt.

Not bad a game as it turned out but was totally spoilt by some very bad refereeing decissions. Shame Arsenal couldn't hang on but, I suppose, Barca's class told in the end. Could have been a differant strory had it been 11 against 11.

If Barca' get an early goal it'll be all over by half time. However, its got nowt nowt written all over it.

That ol' lure of money will strike again. I hope these players take a good long look at how other former ICT players have faired after leaving ICT. If I copuld be ersed I'd do a list - a kind of what happened to them ttype thing - I';m sure it would make very interesting reading indeed. Think of job security guys - stay with ICT, you know it'll make sense in the long run.

I believe an SPL2 will be the final nail in the coffin of the wee teams from the 2nd and 3rd divisions and, possibly, a further nail in the coffin of Scottish football in general.

That's a desperate shame for Stewerty, the Highlands and Peterhead - still, it'll be fun watching PT struggle in the 1st. maybe!
