  1. Many thanks K.
  2. Good match report on The Scotsman web site and some interesting comments at the bottom - but since when has John Rankin been a defender? Quote: Inverness defender John Rankin tried to make amends after Inverness were awarded a free-kick 16 yards out but there was only more frustration as his left-foot drive curled around the post. 3. I thought the draw was supposed to have taken place yesterday. Anyone know when it'll take place?
  4. From what I saw on Wednesday night against Dumbarton I couldn't help thinking we were due a stuffin', that has now duly arrived. I really don't think we sould be ringing alarm bells though, well, not just yet anyway. ICT will bounce back from this and, by all accounts, we didn't play too badly yesterday but I can't comment on that as I wasn't there to see it. To lose four goals is bad no matter what but look on the bright side - it's the first time we've conceded that many in the SPL and County lost yesterday as well! :004:

    Bayne and Wyness... :001:
  6. Dundee Utd 0 - 0 Airdrie Utd ET Queen of South 1 - 1 Kilmarnock ET Queens Park 0 - 0 Aberdeen ET St Johnstone 2 - 0 Elgin ET Please ICT - don't let this happen to us tomorrow eh!

Aye you're right there, who'd have thought St Mirren would have won their first two games of the season or the Pars picking up a point against the 'mighty' Rangers. Looks like it could be an interesting contest for once and fully agree we need get more points on the board. I believe we have the players to do just that.

ICT will weather the storm - I'm confident we can take more than two points from the next two matches. There's not team in the SPL that we should, currently, be scared of.

I'm afraid the whole afair will all revolve around the beloved OF. The only reason the SPL was concocted in the first place was to, more or less, guarentee FOUR OF Derbies per season and give them both a financial boost. There is no way on this earth that they'll discontinue that set up. I fear very much for the wee clubs in the SFL 2 / 3 who will, I'm sure, fall by the wayside if the SPL1 / 2 set up ever comes about and Scotland will loose these clubs for ever. I also doubt whether a regional set up in the lower leagues will work either - lets face they're not really a million miles away from each now are they. How could the likes of Stranraer and Berwick, say, be regionalised? I believe these proposals are in the interests of screwing more money out of the supporters and into the grubby hands of the SPL who really don't give a Yompa sweaty sock about Scottich football whatsoever.
  10. *cough* Partick! *cough* Ayr! *cough* Queens Park! :016: Hope we give Dumbarton the same kind of respect as we gave Golspie last night. :006:
  11. I can't see this wee competition lasting much longer without a sponsor. It never attracted big crowds but there were some poor attendances last night: Partick - 1208 Q of the S - 1389 St J - 1261
  12. Quite a strong team then according to that - poor ol' Golspie eh! :015:
  13. PA system?? What PA system???.... ??? ???
  14. Not seen the new version yet so can't pass comment. No doubt we're still on last and get a paltry 2 minutes or so. Come to think of it - I don't think I'll bother at all this season.....just can't be ersed to sit through all that OF dross.

All ICT goals are crackers.... :001: I was there for that game - its like a home match for me :015: :015: :004:

Over my dead body....wouldn't want Romanov either (or any equalivent!). I'm still going to sit on the fence though and see what happens over the next few months. I'm sure Mr Savage will be an excellent chairman for ICT and will follow in the footsteps of previous occupiers of the seat and have ICT's best interests at heart. Here's hoping anyway.

Fair point CD. ICT have done wonders so far with an, almost, 100% Scots squad and I'd personally hate to see the end of that. I just wouldn't like to see ICT go down the Hearts road if you see what I mean. Also, could the 'thought' of introducing foreigners upset the current, excellent, team spirit? I'm off to sit on the fence now and watch things from there for a while.. :004:

Can't say I'm particularly overawed by that statement...arn't our youngsters that good enough after all?
  19. Aye...best of luck to them. Could be a good breading ground for new talent. Would anyone be going over the bridge to see them....North Kessock according to the Courier. Inverness Courier Link
  20. Me me me...... :boldblue: :boldred: :boldblue: :boldred: :blob06: :party01: :party01: :drinking09:
  21. ICT's first ever defeat against English opposition :019: However, it was all about Rossco tonight. Hope you had a great night big man and I hope to see you in action next week when it really matters.
  22. OK...Mrs G and me will also be up for a couple of weeks. See you in the Innes (hopefully) on the 29th.
  23. Hi Dmacca.....I can't remember whether you travel up by rail to Inverness or have the sense not to, however, if you are using the rail network please be aware of the latest news:- RAIL STRIKE: RMT signaller members will be asked not to book on between noon on Friday 21 July 2006 and 11.59am on Saturday 22 July 2006. Also for members not to book on between the hours of noon on Thursday 27 July 2006 and 11.59am on Saturday 29 July 2006.
  24. Unfortunately not Harry. Not sure if its possible to do either - I don't have that power I'm afraid. The NPL will be the same format as previous season's with a few 'tweaks' here and there.
