  1. Esson Piermayr, Tokely, Hogg, Shinnie Doran, Tansey, Tudor-Jones, Tade Hayes, Foran appears to be the line-up
  2. Are you terry in disguise? Tade on left wing
  3. As I say to work colleagues who moan about the distance they have to travel to work....................You choose where you live....
  4. Yep!..................................excruciating pain for the Bucky swillers
  5. The way I see it Wilson was signed by Liverpool as a reserve player to be developed for the future. (some synics may even suggest he was removed from Rangers to try and help Celtic) and is unlikely to feature in the Pool first team this season. I cant imagine he's on high earnings at Liverpool and I believe, if they see a future for him, they'd let him go on loan, on favourable terms, to a club that can give hime a regular start. He is also keen to keep himself in Levien's radar and needs games to achieve that. Not sure that he'd get that at Rangers but believe he would at a team like ours. And Terry has shown he's pretty good at moulding youngsters.
  6. Twenty past ten in morning. Wife atwork. Only me and the dog at home and its p!ssing rain outside.
  7. Any superstitious folks out there. For a bit of fun and to pass the time, sitting in the house waiting for kick-off, I had a look at all the games we've played on a saturday 13th since we first arrived in SPL. All in all there have been seven games and we've won four, drawn one and lost three. Interestingly two of the losses were agaings St Mirren, both in our relegation season. Add addendum - missed Celtic one in 04 Nov 13th 04 - 3-0 loss to Celtic (away) Aug 13th 05 - 0-1 win over Dunfermline (away) Jan 13th 07 - 1-1 draw with Aberdeen (away) Sep 13th 08 - 1-2 loss to St Mirren (home) Dec 13th 08 - 2-0 loss to St Mirren (away) Feb 13th 10 - 0-4 win over Raith (away) Mar 13th 10 - 1-0 win over Morton (home) Nov 13th 10 - 1-3 win over Hamilton (away) Aug 13th 11 - ?-? win over Rangers (home) ??? Little bit of optimism thrown in at the end. Edited to add addendum
  8. Who's fishing? It was a genuine question in light of our defensive frailties. We dont know what kind of deal Liverpool may have been prepared to agree for a loan.

I believe the most common name in Glasgow will also make an appearance...........................Buckey
  10. I also read it as quoted from the article. 600,000 fans have stopped attending in the past five years. To me that says 600,000 less clicks of the turnstiles over the 1140 matches played in that period. I make that down by 526.3 per match. Pretty meagre amount really considering standards have dropped so much in the period.
  11. According to Sky News danny is looking for a club to go out on loan to. Could he bolster our defense?
  12. Yes lets give all the kids all the seats at cheap prices then there wont be any for adults and eventually no club. There is, of course, another option. Buy the child a season ticket for the main stand then he or she is only paying approx ?8 per game. The other thing that should be bourne in mind is the the club and the supporters trust ensure that many children get to enjoy the game free of charge. Our prices are much the same as all the other clubs for away fans. At any game not involving the OF we charge ?16 for over twelves and ?10 for under. The pricing for OF fans reflects the fact that we could probably fill the away stand with full price adults. At least the ten clubs who are not from Glasgow have lower prices when playing each other unlike the Weegie two who charge very high prices for all games.
  13. I'm not going to bore anyone with all the other club figures but the average cost for away fans at the other grounds is ?23 and ?15 concession for games not involving the OF and ?27 and ?17 concession for OF games. Our prices balance out as similar to the average. We charge less than average for full price tickets and above average for concessions. The fans who are complaining this week should look closely at their own pricing structure before mouthing off. They charge visitors ?28 and ?15 concession All figures are current to this season as displayed on each teams websites.
  14. No!!! Rangers made a minor profit cos they never paid the taxman..................................................and today he sent the sheriff officers in with a demand for 1.4 million.
  15. Full report Here
  16. Dont know the line-up or anything else but Scotland won 3-0
  17. I think the point being made by Scotty is that Inverness were NOT in the SPL during the period referred to in the report yet some posters, including yourself, are looking at reason why we are somehow percieved to be in debt. We were not part of the report. We were not in debt at the time of the report and, as far as I am aware, and based on the most recent report from the club, we are not in debt now. With all that in mind mention of Niculae payments and social club sales is irrelevant to the content of the report and, as such, may come across to some as 'wierd theories or conspiracies'.
  18. Details below cut from SFA site and have not been edited in any way. This guy has to be the most dedicated ref in the world.........................He's been one since birth. 19. So, what would the club write in this letter. Dear Player, It is with regret that we write to inform you that you are just not good enough to progress further within our development system but thanks, all the same, for being involved in our coaching sessions. Yours etc. Personally I think that face to face honesty is a lot better than the words that could be put in any letter.
  20. 3-5Full Time
  21. In my opinion, based on the Dunfermline match, Hogg is far from fit and should be on the bench. I'd start with Esson Piermayr, Tokely, Aldred, Shinnie G. Hayes, Tansy, Shinnie A, Doran Foran, Tade Bench:- Tuffey, Hogg, Tudor-Jones, Morrison, Sutherland, Ross My reasoning for leaving T-Jones and Ross out of the start is that they are likely to have fairly tough games for countries on wed (Aaron plays for RoI on tuesday so has an extra day to recover) and may not be 100% recovered.
  22. Why do people think Rangers are Butchers team? Yes he played for them but so did many others. Had he not broken his leg at the start of his second season at Rangers he'd have gone of to Man U. Terry Butcher is Ipswich through and through. The team he followed his father in supporting. Having said that I'm sure he'd maybe think about the job were he offered it though I dont think he'd do any better than McCoist will given that there seems to be a lack of cash and committment at the Bronx to bring in the calibre of player needed for european challenges. McCoist will have them challenging for SPL but his european exploits will die at the first hurdle, as has been seem already, because his team of pensioners are not anywhere near good enough for that competition. If the job becomes vacant then I dont think Butcher or McCall or any of those others mentioned will even be offered it. The board at Rangers must realise they need to bring in a much higher calibre of manager and player to be seen as real contenders again.
  23. Hopefully he'll be played in the right position. According to one of my welsh colleagues he has previously been played fullback and didn't impress.
  24. Three games into the season and already he's getting stick from the ICT fans. Lets give him and all the other newbies a bit of a chance to show what they can or can't do before we write them off.
