  1. Yes they do to an extent. Contrary to what was said in a previous reply the forecast is for heavy snow and strong wind.
  2. I think there are some very cruel posters on here. What have Polworth and Horner done to deserve being binned. They're both young. They're both midfielders. So please tell me guys....Who should we have dropped to let either of them on to the team sheet?...Vincent? Draper? Doran? Ross? Watkins? Tansey? Williams? Christie? Has it crossed anyones mind that maybe the hard work those two put in is what makes the regulars more competitive? IMO so long as we are having success with the regulars, and they stay fit, I dont want to see what the fringe guys can do.

...but, hopefully, one a little bit more careful about the company he keeps,, Aint you got a bed to go to?

Trust in Mr Hughes to find us a loan striker of quality. Remember the one he found for Falkirk. Young Irishman who scored his first goal at TCS and went on to score 14 goals in 16 games for Falkirk during his period with them. Sadly 4 of those goals were against us. Anyway, who knows, with his contacts he could well unearth another Anthony Stokes.

Calum Ferguson its time to step up to the plate lad!!
  6. Ach Scarlet, on the Blar Mhor (Caol, Fort Bill) there are midgies bigger than your wee birdie.
  7. Graeme Shinnie is a professional who puts his heart and soul into what he does. ICT are still paying his wages and he will still give his all for this club if picked to play. Suggestions to the contrary are just not in keeping with the lads commitment and integrity. To suggest he lose the captaincy is no more than throwing the toys out of the pram. Players have come and gone throughout our history and they'll continue to do so. They will also strive to be recognised while they are with us and hope to better themselves and their families at some point in their careers. That is the way of most people in most jobs. Best of luck Graeme. Shame you'll miss the chance of European competition.
  8. In all this furore did nobody think to maybe tell those concerned to zip it?

  10. Raven and Tansey both miss this one.
  11. Forecast for tuesday is zero temp and thick cloud. Playing surface should be ok. Wrap up well and jump about. Our goals will keep you warm.

Right back replacing a left back? - fair enough. Granted Mark Wilson would be a decent enough signing but money if available would be better spent elsewhere IMO. I do think we could do with another striker as the general consensus is now that Mckay could be elsewhere next season. Do we need another striker this season? - not particularly especially with Calum Ferguson on the ranks already. Just while we are speaking of strikers, I noticed Gregory Tade is now a free agent http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/Hughes-hopes-to-give-Ferguson-Caley-Thistle-chance-12012015.htm
  13. but will anybody listen? https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/459560/caley-thistle-boss-john-hughes-slams-scottish-football-bosses/
  14. My understanding, as of ten minutes ago, is that the A9 is open. A889 is closed from snow gates at A9 junction to Dalwhinnie

    High quality surface required
  16. Looking at the highlights for second goal I think a lot of credit must go to Nick Ross for his quick thinking pass back. Many a player would have tried to go it alone in that situation. I've not been able to get to a game this season (Hopefully Tannadice on Saturday) and have only seen highlights or TV matches but what a difference. This is a team playing as a team and playing some really good football. Our style of play is well suited to plastic pitch and allows us to control the ball and control the game. Well done on the win.
  17. Might have been good for us had it not been for injury

Question.....Is there something not right when, according to Raven, he indicated in the summer that he'd like to stay yet there still isn't an offer on the table?
  19. Tansey will be available for this one. His totting up ban starts from 18/1 so will miss St Johnstone.
  20. Alex MacLeod replied to Diegoal's topic in Caley Thistle
Never realised he was training with us. As far as I know he is still without a club.
  21. Captain material maybe??
  22. Alex MacLeod replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
Not sure about that but did the rules not change whereby it's the player who's responsible for the agents fee and not the signing club?
  23. Yes the offer is open to St Johnstone fans. Being a tuesday night I'd be surprised if there was a substantial crowd increase. The offer may attract a few extra visitors but I dont think it'll be in the hundreds.
  24. Think it was mentioned a while back that he's back training

Ewan Murray @mrewanmurray · 16h 16 hours ago Would be surprised if Shinnie plays many more times for Inverness... Birmingham City bid expected. 0 replies 10 retweets 3 favorites
