  1. Think he's likely to sign for Swindon at the end of his loan.
  2. Roberts is a kid learning his trade. Give him a break.
  3. Cant wait for his well thought out and interesting post match comments.
  4. No Luke!! He's on trial at Birmingham. A Brummy is a person from that city. Had you used the colloquial term Brum, which incidently is short for Brummagem, a name used for Birmingham in the middle ages, then you would have gotten away with it. Whatever happened to that other high scorer who left Scotland for Birmingham........ah yes he's with Swindon Town.
  5. Mentioned here http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2013/jan/15/lance-armstrong-comes-clean-oprah?intcmp=239
  6. 16 days to go yet
  7. Oh sh1t!!!! My stupid.
  8. Not yet they haven't but they will do today according to http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20932584 My understanding is there will be one body running the whole lot.
  9. Joey barton is a player who was born a few years too late. Had he been a player in 70's or 80's he'd be a hero. Unfortunately our modern PC correct non contact namby pamby sport doesn't like a Barton type person.
  10. Derek who.....................Adams?
  11. Believe it or not 12th but some of those things you listed have been done. I recieved an e-mail when the tickets went on sale and that was all the way to Angola. I have seen some comments on P&B from fans of other clubs who wanted to purchase online but couldnt because they weren't registered or something. Perhaps if we could sell tickets on the day at ER and publicised this then a few neutrals may turn up.
  12. If one or two of the guys are interested in building the current stats segment then I'd be inclined to give them the power. I would, however, ask that they use spell checkers and good grammar and make sure the profiles look professional. The Wikipedia ICT page looks like parts of it have been written by a barbary monkey on acid.
  13. I have to kind of agree with Starchief here. Green has put forward a proposal. Whether its worse or better than the others remains to be seen but I see no reason why his cant be looked at. The proposal does nothing to help Rangers. They will still take the same time to climb the leagues. As for the finances I cant see why, if he had a vote, he'd be against the sharing of the wealth a bit better. After all he stands to gain by the monies going down through the leagues. Please also note here that the SPL are throwing their weight with their own proposal. They have ignored the proposal that came from the SFL and instead thrown their own on the table and demanded the SFL follow this track. Somewhere in all that there's a bit of bribery and blackmail and nothing for the fans to savour. IMO their quest for change to suit their own ends will destroy the game in this country.
  14. Was in today getting 22 tickets and was told we have sold just over 1200 so far . Unless there is a big surge in the next week and a half we could go down with a support far less than our team and management deserve . The club have done virtually nothing to sell the match to people who do not attend matches on a regular basis . Surely we should be on Moray Firth radio trying to encourage the local community to support the club as it tries to make history !!!!!! When our neighbours county were in their semi there was non stop coverage on both the radio and the local press ,which resulted in a fantastic response . For an away game thats a good turnout. I'm sure more tickets will be sold but I'd never expect numbers like those at Scottish Cup. Not even from County. Unfortunately this cup is seen by many SPL fans as a mickey mouse affair and not the best attended, more so because the cash is crap and its run by the other league body. Hearts fans may indeed turn out in vast numbers but that more about the venue and an attempt to create the bragging rights of saying they hold the record for attendance at ER. People may well disagree but I think excess of 1200 is a very good turnout. And we'll still outsing the tarts.
  15. I agree with Ronaldo and Kingsmill and bdu's no wrong either.
  16. Now we have Green's proposal http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21010647
  17. I believe that TB has made his position and ambition clear for the immediate future. I believe he is committed to fulfilling his ambition to take, for first time in his managerial career, a team into European competition. At the moment he is in a position to achieve that and to put himself into a much bigger window. I dont believe his motivation comes from money but from success. I do believe he will achieve his ambition for our club and move on from there.
  18. Move teams in closer proximity between leagues?
  19. What are those figures supposed to tell me......that football has become more popular in these countries now than it was back then?
  20. Sorry cap but theres 19 rows in the North Stand, so row 11 would be in the back 10. However if we were able to make one whole section a standing one it would be less confusing ;) What's so confusing? Regardless of number of rows in North stand the back (or top) ten rows are at the rearmost part of the stand. Besides there isn't a row 11. All rows are lettered.
  21. Alex made a funny BBC should get the credit..not me. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20993710
  22. I agree with this. I know a few Junior sides that feel making the step up will ruin them. The best junior side from the West is Auchinleck Talbot, could you imagine them having to travel to Elgin and Peterhead every other saturday. A lot of the fans from the Juniors and EOS,SOS leagues would like the option to deny promotion, I'm not sure how the highland league are taking this but they do not feel making the step up is worth it at this moment. This could be a problem and would make a mockery of the set up in suggestion. The lower 18 should be regionalised into two leagues of 10, automatically promoting two non league sides to make up the difference geographically. But its ok for Berwick to travel to Peterhead just now. They wouldn't be travelling those distances every week anyway. The junior teams should have the option to opt out.
  23. I cant see how they can. They talk of getting agreements. Sorting out the ruling bodies and consulting with fans etc. They also have no idea yet how the pyramid system will work. Far better to take time and get it right
  24. They wont though. The proposals, if accepted, would come into effect from 2014/15 season. Assuming Sevco are in top two of div 2 next season they will be in Championship tier when new set up comes into effect.
  25. In the first season of this set up the bottom four from top div will likely have the added incentive of keeping Sevco out of top league for following season.
