  1. He could be a grumpy old *******, but he was our grumpy old *******. RIP
  2. It was a privilege to have seen him in action for the last time at Aaron Doran's testimonial dinner. He was never afraid to crack a joke about anyone or anything, even when they were in the room. His quips about the club finances and the concerts had a lot of people biting their lips to stop then from laughing, and the current CEO and Chairman were clearly unimpressed and didn't share in the humour, leaving shortly after! Thank you Bill, and goodnight.
  3. I wasn't that surprised by yesterday's performance. Typical from a team where most of them will be away at the end of the season, so the league is secondary to risking their place in next week's Scottish Cup Semi Final.

Who cares? They're a 2 bit amateur outfit who's existence, regardless of name, makes them entirely inconsequential to us. Given the problems at our own club, I think some people have their priorities all wrong.
  5. Hopefully we chuck it in the last couple of games as I can't afford the play off matches
  6. Based on current form, which so many have been getting excited about, surely this is our easiest possible game?
  7. Crying myself to sleep every night
  8. One shot on target is all it takes sometimes
  9. We have Mr Inverness enjoying the game...or a game...on his phone. Thankfully for Gordy Fyffe, Director seats have built in commodes...but clearly Mr Fraser behind him is still catching a whiff! Grassa having a snooze. Impossible to tell from an image if he's inebriated, so please nobody suggest it. The 3 Witches...rumoured to be the source if the magic keeping Billy Dodds, Scot Gardiner and John Robertson in a job. A very disinterested (or worried) looking Chairman...nice to actually see him in public, though. Behind the Chairman...he might be wearing shades, but Beaker from the Muppets is fooling nobody. Any other observations?
  10. Shame the leagues decided over 36 games
  11. CaleyD may be living in someone's head, but it's clearly not mine.
  12. It was ICTPAISLEY who asked the question, not me.
  13. Have decided that I can't justify the cost, so TV/online for me. What's the chances of getting the old social media folks back for the day to inject a bit of personality into club updates?
  14. Then maybe the club should have left it to the Travel Club who already had agreed prices in place and not have got ahead of themselves Fans have done a pretty amazing job of organising buses and trains over the years, and there was no need for the club to get involved and give themselves extra work.
  15. Would have been good to have the club name/badge on there. Reads like it's supporting ICTST's Road to Hampden. Not for me, but hope you sell plenty.
  16. £28 for the bus (ST holder). That's £8 more than the travel club! Does profit££ring have one 'E' or two?
  17. Agree with all of this apart from the assumption that the Scottish Cup run will improve our financial position in any meaningful way. We have no idea what the last 10 months look like financially, and no AGM to get any indication either. If it's anything like the 12 months prior then, even with a cup final, we'll be sailing north of £2.5 million of debt. The last time we had that level of debt we had to sell the family silver. We may have got some of it back, but there's not a chance we'll survive as a going concern without someone personally underwriting those debts.
  18. Are we all assuming he actually wants to stay on? He might be quite happy to move on
  19. That was a poor game of football and I think the red card did us a favour. It was a great bit of work for the goal, but Partick had the best of slim pickings until then and it came against a run of play where they were marginally less awful than us. The injustice* of the red card gave the team, and fans, a cause to get behind and everyone battled to hold on to the lead. *I don't like the whole professional foul thing. Just a more acceptable phrase we like to throw out when it's our own player who has cheated. Not arguing that the decision by the ref was right (based on current rulebook, but if you make a conscious decision to commit a deliberate foul, then you run the risk of a sending off. Players should be chastised for that kinda play, not defended. Up there with simulation in my book.
  20. Is "Singing in the rain" too much to ask for? Also, listening to the Barry interview and I see there's no sign of the club's pet podcaster. Has he been binned after last weekend's meltdown?
