  1. "Marius is a mercenary who has got what he wanted and now will move on - and I predict that he will fall. Lets not forget that if it wasnt fer Gretna the signing of Niculae and the standard of his play for the majority of the season would possibly have taken us into the SFL." Utter p1sh, as usual. Spare me a seat in earshot of the self proclaimed voice of the fans at Tynecastle tomorrow.
  2. Give it a rest Walter mitty.
  3. Ok, I withdraw my earlier comments. We'd clearly be better off bringing in brainless SPL plodders. Heaven forbid we get ideas above our station...... :029:
  4. Finger on the pulse.......... Hendry....... JJB.............. Aquifer....... etc............ etc........... yawn............. :33:
  5. I hardly ever post on here these days due to the utter garbage posted by the vast majority of posters but it you can't see the class of Niculae then you might be better off watching formation morris dancing on Saturday afternoons. Same mince posted with regards the respective value of Duncan, Rankin, Black, etc., etc. Hang your heads in shame clueless whoppers.
  6. I can assure you the Sky story is legit unlike the majority of rumours posted on here. McGregor's response to the proposal was that his priority was promotion not a one off appearance on Sky. Seemed a bit rash to me given County's financial woes. I felt sorry for Cove as that sort of money would have been a massive windfall for them.
  7. Considering County turned down ?82.5k from Sky to move their Scottish Cup game with Cove to the Thursday I doubt they?d be that willing to let Barrowman go on the cheap, even if he is out of contract in the Summer. So much for Save our Staggies. Money appears to be no object over the bridge these days.
  8. MacGregor's slick site is to web design what Harold Shipman was to geriatric healthcare. File alongside keepy-uppie king Michael Knighton - another walter mitty fruitcake with about as much a grip on reality as your average St. Mirren fan. Shame on the Courier for wasting newsprint on this non story. Re. Buenos - just remind him about his admission back on the rivals site that he wanted to come back to the fold. Cue furious back pedalling when his fellow refuseniks got wind of his "treachery".
  9. Mantis - hope you've survived the manflu. I was looking for you yesterday as The Legend, Kevin Mann and the one and only Wilson Robertson were all sitting together in the away section. Alas, missed photo opportunity....
  10. Fantastic performance today and what a bounce after the winer. Great day out despite mising my stop on the train home :023
  11. Purchased three tickets over the phone earlier today and was advised they'd be posted out first class tonight. The woman on the line reckoned we've sold about a hundred tickets which is pretty poor given Sunday's result. Looking forward to hooking up with a couple of old mates pre and post match for a festive libation.
  12. You didn't scroll down did you......? :015:
  13. I'm struggling to see how a guy who's not been getting a game for a team who've had a very poor season thus far can command a decent transfer fee. Proctor in - Rankin out. Shape of things to come.... :019:
  14. Absolutely diabolical decision. I?m starting to have MAJOR doubts about his ability to keep us in the SPL. Give yer head a shake mun?. :008:
  15. I?ve been re-reading some of the coverage around this incident and the thing that strikes me is that he?s quoted as having paid ?80 for two half gramme wraps of coke. Now I?m no expert (honestly :angel05: ) but that is way over the odds and would suggest that Richie is hardly a hardened user who might have been aware he was being ripped off. It?s not the first time we?ve been front page news for the wrong reasons and as such it would be hypocritical of the club to sack him when they continue to employ others who?s past behaviour is, in my opinion, more unsavoury than Richie?s. As the saying goes today?s front page news is tomorrow?s chip wrapper.
  16. Certainly not the smartest move for a professional sportsman to be dabbling with the old colombian marching powder. I think the hand wringing of a few folk on here is over the top and hope that this incident doesn't kybosh Richie's playing career. There can't be many folk in this day and age who haven't experimented at some point in their life with some form of recreational substance. It's difficult for these young guys with a lot of free time and relatively good wages to constantly say no when all around them folk are partaking. My main hope is that this sends out a warning to the rest of the playing staff that their off the pitch behaviour is constantly under the microscope in a place like Inverness.
  17. His last two goals were scored at Home to Falkirk, not Away as listed in your table. Pedant, moi....? :001: Top Man is our Denzil.
  18. Home game for me these days. Seems to be a fair few Aberdeen(shire) based posters on here these days. I trust more turn up for the dismals than were in attendance pre-season at the Locos.

    On a LSM

Mantis - I'm pretty sure Young and Gifted fall into the refusenik camp. Maybe some of our jaggy brethren could confirm. Now I'm back en Ecosse I'm going to dig out some of my old caley collection from the old dear's loft and see if there's anything which might be of interest for your site if you're interested. Got loads of programmes from the seventies to nineties and the priceless rod the mod scrap books from the late seventies. :001:
  20. Well jealous of KoB / Beachcomber catching The Smiths, The Clash, Aztec Camera, etc. I was too young to see any of these and my teenage years were a barren wasteland as far as decent gigs in the sneck went. Weird how we got some great bands in the early eighties and the late eighties/nineties were a dead loss. Does anyone know if Orange Juice ever played the sneck ? Watched the Edwyn Collins documentary on Friday night. Lump in throat time watching the great man's slow road to recovery.

    On a LSM

Got all the issues of LSM in the loft at my in-laws (I hope!!!). Credit also due to Black and Red All Over / 18 hours from Rotterdam which was also a good read.
  22. The Smiths played Eden Court in 1984 and 1985. Anyone on here in attendance?
  23. Would this not represent average household income which I guess would assume 1-point-something wage earners per household........or am I just being thick?
  24. A veritable dream come false scenario. Malkowski is to goalkeeping what Harold Shipman was to geriatric healthcare..... Ferfuxache Brew sort it out, mun. :008:
  25. So much for Clangers Langfield and Broonie. Finger on the pulse as always Johndo...... :33:
