It's getting to that time of year again when we wonder what next seasons home strip will be. Personally I would love it if we got shot of errea! The quailty of the strips are always pathetic and reminds me of the fake tops you can get abroad. Also with c*unty having nike i feel almost jealous of them. However I've lost all hope that we will ever get rid of errea because as far as I'm aware we get paid to use their shirts.

So, what (errea) design would you wish for in the 2012-14 seasons?

I like Brightons last two home shirts. I have a link below, just scroll down untill you find them. brighton also use errea, so just imagine either the 2010-11 0r 2011-12 shirt in blue and red and thats what i would like. A sort of barca esque blue and red striped shirt aswell would do nicely!

I really liked the Croatian away strip that they wore at the euro2012. I'd love our strip to be themed around that,They have red and white squares on the shoulder though which would have to be changed to suit our colours . I cant post a pic for those of you that don't know what it's like.

1) blue main colour with red and black squares with a white collar

or

2) black main colour with blue and red squares with a white collar

both of them would be very smart IMO

My first choice when I saw it was our blue on the main body with red and black squares on the shoulder and a red or black collar. Might be quite smart I think.

I phoned shop up about a week ago and was told that the strip was going to be launched sometime in next week or so :), just thought i'd let you guys know.

A number of potential options - personally styles 2 and 6 but if going to be predominately blue and keeping the stripes then maybe style 3 if you made all the vertical stripes red....

2 and 3 are my favourites, with 4 being a close 3rd for it's vintage look. 1 is too Sevco 5088 FC, 5 is rubbish and 6 has a bit too much of a mid 90s 2nd division top look to it.

Doesn't matter if they "counter" it in the following seasons away top, ICT should always be red and blue (IMO always in a striped manner), as that is the colours of the teams that incorporated the club in the first place and anything else is really just a glorified Caledonian kit and not really an ICT kit at all. If the new kit really is just all blue, then I would correctly expect some sort of outcry, probably along the lines of how there is still a pro-Caledonian/anti-Thistle bias at the club and at the same time alienating a sizeable cross-section of the support.

If true and not a wind-up - then the whole brand 'ICT' strategy does not really have a sound footing. I agree it should always be red and blue stripes and whatever is the latest vogue for variations. Guess the decision was made before the club listened to the fans. God help us if we turn into the new Rangers next season....

Does any other club differ on their kits styles as we do. Stripes - Plain - Stripes - Plain.

Saddens me that we can no longer seem to keep neither a team, or even our identity together.. with the "badge" being the only thing that holds it all together.

Now with Rangers gone, County have taken it upon themselves to be the new huns! haha

I think though, my point really still stands. This constant switching between block blue and red trim to red and blue stripes seems a bit strange to me. It's almost like the club is still searching for it's true identity. The red and blue stripes to me represent the intertwining of Caley and Thistle and creates a design that seems to be unique in this country (and is actually fairly rare worldwide too for that matter), while also managing to end any comments that came with former shirts, of really being nothing more than a glorified Caledonian kit (why the club always has a block coloured blue shirt and never red, doesn't help matters and has never been revealed). You'd never see Celtic going from having hoops to an all white top for example, or Manchester United switching to red and white polka dots now would you?! Stripes are the way to go for ICT I reckon.

I may be getting ahead of myself here somewhat, but why does the club seem to have fetish for white away kits? Seems a bit bland to me. I'd like to see a bit more variation in the away kit department myself (not a return to that god-awful orange kit though!). I was thinking something akin to Athletic Bilbao's away kit with an ICT twist, ie - predominantly green with red and blue trimming. That would look pretty snazzy I reckon.
