  1. Best laugh I've had all week. :thumb04: ;) Was tempted to edit Yngwie's original post to include an anti-brew message :018: Nearly forgot - Brew Out!
  2. Followed the link but no mention of Barry now.
  3. To be fair, he's probably right up there with the best players who've ever worn the jersey, even if he was past his best.
  4. I'm trying hard to look at this from Brewster's point of view. He sinks or swims as a manager by making his own decisions and there's no room for sentiment. If he's staying at the club long term he needs to be surrounded by his own men and Baz certainly isn't one of those. However, bottom line: I think the club would be better off if Brewster left, not Baz.
  5. The Mantis

    4 home wins

Since you're a new poster you're forgiven for not seeing the irony of that :thumb04: :018: ;) :015:
  6. Naw he's too old for that :thumb04: :018: ;) :015: :D :P :021:
  7. Aye, they all were. But that was 4 months ago. Unlike his lack of effort...... Sorry, I've still to see what made Brewster chase him for months and offer him such a decent contract. More so given the system that Brewster seems intent on playing. Even the County fans could see his shortcomings. Never mind, he'll come in handy in div 1.
  8. :015: :thumb04: :018: ;) Short and sweet!
  9. Am I the only one that doesn't understand this paragraph?
  10. We visit Hamilton in January. I'm sure they'll be up for it - I just hope we are. I'm really fecked off at the moment. I never even thought about travelling up the road for this game, it never even entered my head at the start of the week. I've just spent the afternoon wandering about in the Pentlands, and got back in time for a pint and then switched on the car radio with 10 mins to go, surprise surprise we're 3-1 down and going through the motions till full time. Oh well never mind, Ralphie will be on later to tell us how rosy it all is.
  11. Well, working, obviously......
  12. Missed the game, but very pleased with the Killie performance last week. But we are just not capable of scoring goals especially from the strikers, and having seen the cup draw we will struggle to get goals against a packed P*r*ick defence.
  13. Rubbish draw. And we'd better put them away first time like we failed to do 2 years ago. You listening Foxy Wish I could agree with you...... gits. That was a feckin humiliation 2 years ago having to go down there for a replay and face all the sheer hatred for us taking their SPL place. They were spitting at the supporters buses and everything. You freeze your bollox off for 2 hours and lose on penalties to what was more or less a pub team who hardly got out of their own half.
  14. Guy at our work plays for Raith so a few of us have got comps for today v Alloa in round 3. A day out and a few bevvies.
  15. :D :thumb04: :018: ;) :015: Where's Oats when you need him?
  16. Isn't that the tube who single-handedly knocked us out the League Cup the other week? And we've had him in the lower leagues, I can remember his funny mannerisms one day at Cappielow.
  17. I've lived there too but live in the East now. We'll just have to differ. I was hoping that my post implied that, having heard the lyrics in full recently, I also found them disgusting. The danger in joining in a thread like this is that inevitably people try to read into your words that you are one side of the fence or the other. Back in the days of fanzines I remember issues from both sides of the OF being passed around at work, and seeing how zealous they both are in their propaganda. Both sides can reel off lists of so-called injustices and conspiracies. Only last week there was one who rang Traynor and his whole case was based on an incident involving a ref back in the 1960s. They both claim the moral high ground but one's as bad as the other. It's a game of fitba.
  18. Some people really do live on another planet. I actually thought it was fairly harmless when I first heard it on the news, given that almost any tim you speak to seems desperate to tell you he's not Scottish. But then I heard the whole song and realised this has been going on for ages and these neanderthals just make a life out of winding each other up. It's a game of fitba ffs. I wish Paul Daniels was better at his job, then he could just make the pair of them disappear.
  19. Great city Munich. Hordes of tourists make a beeline for the Hofbrauhaus where you get the barmaids carrying the 10 litre glasses of lager. The Nazi party was founded there and you can see upstairs where Hitler had the meetings. Olympic stadium is built on an artificial hill which is made from the rubble from the war. Great views of the Alps. Allianz Arena - whole stadium lights up at night and changes colour every half hour.
  20. Read this and get a big heid Dougie... Never mind, your old teacher at Lanark Mr Proctor says you were a dirty wee b*****d :thumb04: :018: ;)
  21. If there's anybody in the SPL I'd like us to beat every time it's probably that lot. But it's a bit arrogant to expect it, n'est-ce pas? I had a look on Killie Kickback at the weekend and two separate posters said Killie should be beating us every time. So it works both ways eh?
  22. It's only partly spot on though. Many home games this season there hasn't even been any pressure to soak up. We've just not performed. Today I had the pleasure of seeing ICT go to a top six club and totally dominate the first half and a good bit of the second half. Then in the last 20 minutes when Killie hit us with everything ICT gave it all, blood and guts. That's all I'm asking.
  23. Just back too. That's 2 good performances in the space of 4 games. I missed the two home ones but saw the two away wins. If they could perform like that most weeks nobody would be moaning. What a great game of football, almost worth having to pay Naelifts in. Kept it on the deck too. I've given Woody and Imrie a fair bit of stick this season so only fair to give them some credit this week, with Imrie a contender for MoM. Bambi did a good job too helped by the fact that Killie weren't employing the Luftwaffe like some teams this season. Fair play to Killie, ?20 for the main stand. For the Hibs result I would have said that the players did it despite Brewster, after getting hammered at Ibrox, but today I just wouldn't know where to start. Certainly buys him a bit more time.
