Dundee's relentless march to the title.....

Dundee were practically everybodies favourites to cruise to the SPL long before the season started. The curse of the relegated team has seen us hang on the outer fringe of the battle for promotion along with todays opponents for the jute wallah's, Dunfermline. With Raith Rovers usurping the Harry Wraggs yesterday and Airdrie dicovering that the City of Discovery is not such a daunting place to visit is the engraver right to continue to etch Dundee's name on the SFL trophy?

On the face of it, Dundee appear to be strolling to the inevitable, promotion to the fame and fortune of the SPL, meeting wonderful fans from far away places, like the Arabs and the Huns, and even the Irish. But can the rest of the division do anything to halt Jocky Scott's juggernaut of the SFL. It would appear that most of the top seven teams are capable of beating each other on their day, apart from us, as we have still to get into second gear. However, should the chasing pack work together to hunt them down, then their seemingly insurmountable lead will suddenly look more fragile as the months pass. Most teams still have to play Dundee twice, that's six points that they should all be looking to recover, including us. Now I know it's not possible that every team will manage this, but as Joe Cocker said to me the other week, "with a little help from our friends", then maybe mission impossible could happen........

Ach,a point on a Wednesday night in Ayr isnae to be sniffed at,seem to mind it took a late dodgy penalty for you lads to scrape the same result at home a couple of weeks back! Seems we had far more chances once down to 10 men.

Care to take the bottle of malt bet i offered Mannie in another thread? since he didnae respond

Is that offer still on H/Dee?

18 YO Glenfarclas is my favourite tipple...

Dundee's hammering today at the hands of the worst team in the division must have done little for their confidence not to mention their goal difference !

Is that offer still on H/Dee?

18 YO Glenfarclas is my favourite tipple... :D

So,let me get this right JB,yer wanting to bet a bottle thats a penny shy of a ton that ICT will win this league and Dundee will not?

Glenfaclas 18 year old

Ok.... I'll settle for a ten year old. Perhaps you haven't got a very refined palet.

Cyber handshake on a 10 year old bottle of Glenfarcles it is JB

Before we do that, have you got some inside info on Jocky Scott's likely replacement?

As the banker would say " deal or no deal? "

If the two Jimmys have got the gig, would you settle for a half bottle of Bells?

You'd still be quite happy to bet a 10 YO Glenfarclas that Dundee (currently managerless) will win promotion?

Dundee were absolute crap tonight, despite Mike Tumulty trying to hand it to them on a plate.... He's obviously another member of that select bunch of morons who hate driving up the A9.

The penalty and the sending off was a complete farce..... And then to try and give them another penalty in the 94th minute, after 3 minutes of stoppage time had been awarded, well that would really have made a complete mockery of the entire night.

Sorry H/Dee - it's definitely "Advantage Caley" at the moment.

Failure to beat a ten man Queenies whose manager they have just poached in a bid to see them over the finishing line is just not the stuff of champions. Thats 3 draws and a defeat to Queens this season.........oh dear.

Bring back Jocky.

No doubting that JB,

at the moment.
