Next Weeks Crowd

Will yesterdays historic victory have any impact on next weeks attendance?

Surely the people of Inverness have no reason to be apathetic towards their home town team anymore. They've a team on their own doorstep who are more than capable of competing with the best in this country, a team who don't get the recognition, or support, they deserve.

I'd certainly like to think yesterdays victory will add a few more to next weeks gate.....let's hope that's the case.

either way, it wont put me up nor down, just think there wont be as many falkirk fans up as usual.

The away fans are only allocated 800 tickets at Ibrox

We only got allocated 400, which apparently were all sold

Thought it was laid down in the rules that clubs are supposed to allocate something like a 5% minimum to away fans ??? For Ibrox that would be about 2600 seats. something amiss with the allocations methinks.

They could sell tickets or advertise on the Inverness section of the 'Polish Express' website. That's where they all network. Or maybe fly a Polish flag at the ground? We've got 5,000 Poles in Inverness, most of them are into football - why not?

You could start off by creating a new Polish forum on this website, it might even become 'the hub' of sneckie Polish banter and encourage interest in Caley. Surely wouldn't be hard to find a volunteer to moderate.

Heard on radio that only 500-600 made the journey to Ibrox!    Really poor turn-out for the size of Inverness??

Nah MIDGE55 - add all the Rangers fans travelling from Inverness and you'll be nearer thr 3,000 mark!!!  :004:

Charlie's comments on the official site were praising the home support saying they really got behind the team.  What was the atmosphere like?

To be honest I thought it was rubbish up until we got the first and pushed for the 2nd.

In fairness it is that whole vicious circle again - team were poor, crowd get subdued, players don't seem to be lifted, crowd get more subdued and so on. But when we had something to shout about it was fantastic though it would be nice if the drummers could broaden their tune sheet...

Interesting to see at half time most of the crowd booing the players...

IMHO the denial of a deffo penalty seemed to get the crowd and the team up for the game and when the ref didn't play the advantage and ICT scored they really seemed to go for it from that point.
